@@ldplays9431 Compare to lambos and farari gtr is not type of car who catches people's eye. The first sight you see the car you might not know is a super car. And it's affordable compare to those lambos. I rarely see those "rich" kid drive gtr.

Living in Miami, Fl I see far more Porsche GT3s and Ferraris. So I suppose it’s true those cars are a reflection of wealth. On that observation I would have never thought the GTR would be eating into their sales though.

Great review, great presenter and that color combo inside and out looks mind blowing. From everything I have seen and read, the on track performance on this new one takes a noticeable step backwards, but a huge step forwards on road and maintains it's crazy straight line performance.
Another Howard masterpiece. But still, another day goes by where the boffins at the BBC fail to see his genius and hire him to get back the respectability that Top Gear so desperately needs after Clarkson, Hammond and May departed. Oh! The GTR was pretty good too.

I had a brand new 2016 Nissan GT-R (MY-16) on a 2 year lease which cost me £1,316 per month. It was my daily drive. The original tyres are dunlop run flat which cost about £1,600 for a set. I did 22k miles in it which was a fxxking blast! Amazing Awesome car. People loved seeing it too - it was an all round great experience. It lived up to the hype . I think they really improved it on the MY-16 2016 model as I test drove the 2017 MY-17 model and wasn't keen on it especially as they'd changed the paddle shifters to the steering wheel instead of fixed on the steeeing column which I think is better as they don't move about.
oh nice, what model? I am going to switch over from my 14 nismo to a Ultima this summer. I had lots of fun with it but I need more power. its worse than a drug addiction
Not far off...service plan is now about £700...true mpg is about 14...front rubber is about £250 each..rear £340.my insurance ...43 10years no claims. £415...if you run it most days...250 p-w fuel..still a great car tho...but service from nissan dealers is bad...

Nope a viper is better would spank a gtr and then some with simple bolt ons and you can turbo charge and motor can handle up to 1200 horsepower

The day I bought mine,my teenage sons went mental.I went to a track day and pisssd of a Porsche 911 Turbio and a Ferrari 430.The GTR is very special.
