That father son time in this video is the most valuable and important thing in LiFE.. cherish every second w your kiddos man o man does todays time move fast!!! 😞. Wish u all the best in your 22 racing season..
Hey Tim As an aircraft mechanic who is accustomed to assembling everything to the highest standards, i can’t help but commend you and Brian for not overlooking even the finest of details. From flush cutting zip ties, to using all AN lines and hoses, to properly protecting wiring with grommets and routing logically, everything you’ve done on this car is top notch and takes this build to a whole next level from many cars out there. Also, the thought given into future maintenance and serviceability is great to see, work smart, not hard. Installation of the led illumination for night time maintenance is a wicked touch, I would make that a must have if I ever have the opportunity to have a race car. Keep up the great content guys
We used to run a fan on the new coated headers the first time building heat in the engine to keep the heat from changing the color .just a tip enjoy your chanel
Watching you and little dude reminded me of doin this with my dad on his 89 Chevy. Before he passed away he needed his clutch and pressure plate replaced and I did it all on my own lol 😂 your making memories that will last a life time
I would take that foam out of the fuel cell I’ve seen it cause some problems. Willys told us if you’re worried about slosh put plastic wiffle balls in them but I can’t tell a difference with nothing. Just an FYI!

We’ve been building a 2018 diamond that has a superior fuel cell and we’ve never had any equipment like that. If it wasn’t for your videos I would’ve never known that it had a dipstick I just thought it was a cap so thank you for letting me know 😂
You need to tell him that when to time comes that he feels the need to throw a tool or two the tools need to be cheap or something that won't break or get damaged so that he can keep his going into the car and not tools that have been thrown
You might have said and I just missed it but the driver side header I noticed it was missing a tube what was up with that y’all having to have that one remade? Thanks for another great video

It's an awesome feeling when your son gets good as your crew chief. I loved those days!!
He is learning a lot from this build
I would take that foam out of the fuel cell I’ve seen it cause some problems. Willys told us if you’re worried about slosh put plastic wiffle balls in them but I can’t tell a difference with nothing. Just an FYI!
Something to think about for sure. We’ve ran it without problem, but I appreciate the tip
Heck yeah man that thing is looking and sounding awesome can't wait till the first race to see what she will do i think it's going to be a rocket ship great work clay from mobile Alabama

Hey, thanks a lot!! A lot of blood sweat and BEERS 🍻 in this one
No problem buddy what class do you race are you in the 602 modifieds? We run the crusa 602 modifieds at our track
Start em young, brother! That's how you keep them out of trouble, and teach them to be contributing members of society!
Couldn’t have said it better 🏁🏁
That motor sounds real strong
Headers are bad to the bone car is looking good
Looks like someone might be out of a drive going to be demoted to just camera man .
Great job young man
I hope one day, but I must race him on the track first!
That's a good drive shaft that's what htf uses and they love it they said they wouldn't use anything else
You race this weekend coming, Correct?
Yes sir
Look into a different j bar climber I bet going to outpace one or maybe even the steal version give more clearance just a thought
We really don’t move the jbar much at all on the frame side, so I think it’ll be ok
HELL YA... been waiting to hear that sucker run again.... let all the bald eagles out to fly.... those are sweet looking headers
Hey Tim,where is Chase' eye protection?Safety first.
Agreed!!
That horse power deserves 10 Busch lattes
She's gonna be the best lookin rig under the skirt on the track! First! 😜
Thought about clear decking but that would never last lol. Thanks
@@OldNo7Garage Oh! That would be sweet at the car show!

Ha! That’s great! Learn something new everyday
Can’t wait until I get to build race cars with my son, but c’mon Tim get that kid a ratchet wrench! Lol
I would but unfortunately ratchet wrenches will not fit on U- joint U-Bolt nuts
The really funny part is what Kim asked you when she walked back and it caught ya by surprise and I ain't talkin bout your willy
Lol
You need to tell him that when to time comes that he feels the need to throw a tool or two the tools need to be cheap or something that won't break or get damaged so that he can keep his going into the car and not tools that have been thrown
Call that motor "the go getter"
Nice will do
If stainless hardware doesn't work out for the headers, Zinc plated hardware is a good option as well!
You might have said and I just missed it but the driver side header I noticed it was missing a tube what was up with that y’all having to have that one remade? Thanks for another great video
Yes, nice catch! It was just a little off, mark over at Schoenfeld got us fixed up quickly and we got it nickeled in record time and it’s on there now
Almost there
You just might beat 2023..lol.
Gotta get the wife more involved..
Chase will be able to take apart a motor and rebuild it in 5 minutes
you missed your calling as an Encyclopedia salesman. lol

It’s from quickcar it’s a charge plug
Do u have part number u able to see on web site
That motor isn’t a 23 degree is it???
Yes it is
@@OldNo7Garage she makes great power can’t wait till you hit the track
im surprised u only run 32 degree timing... ever tried running 45 degree timing?
Never, this engine here is optimal at 34
Holy smokes you go on vacation..or buried in empty cans of that little girl beer..
Awesome video today tim. Are you gonna put the mullins motor in or use it for a spare.
Keep it as a spare till we go USMTS racing in august
Car looks good and that motor sounds great. Hey is the bolt on the drivers side motor mount loose? Kinda looks like it in the video.
Joe
Yes it was in the video! Nice catch. It has been tightened since then. Keep your eyes peeled for anything else appreciate it
I'm curious how well them headers will hold up to heat and so on I've always was curious if plating headers compared to stainless steel
According to John, all the guys up north do it for this exact reason.
Tim gets it. Best comment on you tube. You are a boy and she is a girl. Pretty easy concept.
Ha ha, well first thing that came to mind……
