I also have schizophrenia, and during my last break in 2020 I heard children's voices while watching The monkey king on Netflix. I was saddened because I felt like the children were crying out for help. I wasn't sure what they wanted me to do for them. It left me feeling upset.
i believe these voices get worse when we go further from god. i googled the show and that show has a buddhist storyline and plot, i’ve seen countless people have negative spiritual experiences when listening to songs or watching movies. this is a major red flag to me that gos wants to PULL YOU IN CLOSER !

Did you explore the voices any further? Ask them questions? Maybe something connected to the show was calling out to you for help.

She has voices and films my mum has voices will cry if she filmed
