I really enjoyed this, it’s a walk down memory lane. My grandparents were born in the late 1800’s and my mom and dad were born in 1917 and 1919. My mom lived to be 100 year young, so I remember so many of these items.

I LOVE antiquing and haven't been for ages -- I never know what I would pick up when I go to places like that, so I was going to comment that I had no idea what I'd have walked out with right up until I saw the Go-Go Gophers tumbler at 6:41. There was no WAY I'd have walked out without that! I'm half-tempted to put up a kickstarter for you two so you can get those giant storks, just because I'm dying to see what the cats' reactions would be to them. 🤣

I know I'm getting old. I recognized many of the things from my and my friends homes growing up. The lights you liked so much, our next door neighbors had them. I loved the cat stuff and would have bought some prints and pillows as well.
I have a thing for cats as well. One of mine lived to 3 months shy of 20. She was a black siamese. Cuddle all of yours for me. Nacho reminds me of a cat some friends had, the paws were the same. They called him BF. They didn't want to be rude by calling him big foot so BF it was. 🫶

Well that was a surprise!!!!😂… but a good one!!… great to see you and Andrea having a good time in ‘wacky Las Vegas’… and taking us to some very MCM stores… full of Amazing items…. The prices were 😱😳…. Out of my reach… and although so many things were stunning and unusual…they were high end and out of reach. There were some very cool radios that I liked…. and the teak furniture of all types were super… and the framed art was interesting…I could have left without buying anything!!!…. Remember, being from the UK,I could …and have got nearly everything I wanted very cheaply… and I love bargain hunting. Finally… I love your wonderful channel because you perform virtually a miracle each time you find and transform the neglected into the desirable…with so much skill and passion for each piece…and never tire of watching your channel for that reason….and the cats and bunnies too…of course…loved your choices that you bought to bring home…and on reflection , I might have really wanted to buy that gorgeous wooden sunburst wall clock…because I only have a metal one…which is very MCM but … that ‘stunning teak one’, was so tempting 🙏👍👌… thank you both for the experience… excellent and fascinating…Hope you had a great trip….See you back at your home and the the ‘workshop’…where furniture is transcended’ …Sue (UK)…😃 👌👌

I have done a lot of antique shopping and thrift shopping. Have bought and sold many things. Don't know if l have ever told you but l am a jeweller (not a Gemologist) but l adore all stones, even the ones at the beach and the river. Diamonds and Sapphires are my favourite though followed by Emeralds Rubies and Pearl's (all the darn expensive stuff) can't help myself just love it all. Have fun Angie and your partner. Love Janice. It was so incredibly strange seeing in your video something that I can remember from my childhood *and* which gave me Fallout 4 vibes at the same time. I love antique malls!! It's been difficult to go to them for me lately due to my declining mobility. Most antique malls ive been to have not been very wheelchair friendly, and I have a hard enough time getting around Walmart in their electric carts (bumping into things trying to turn, etc) let alone the mismatched aisle widths in some of the stores/booths.
Oooh! Where do I start??? OK, some of the Depression glass, for sure. The Royal Typewriter! That would have gone home with me. The cat pillows and cat artwork were so adorable. Reminds me of the artist called Shag. Hey, there were several MCM pieces hidden amongst the other…err… “gems???” The pair of pink lamps were cute, too (around the 2:52 min mark…after the Pierre Cardin lamps, which were totally cool, too). I spied an Emerson (?) clock radio. I would have taken that home. The cactus artwork was cute, too. That pair of birds, though! $3800 USD?! Ouch! But they were great. The dinette set at the 6:54 min mark was great. As was the set of “flour, sugar, and coffee” canisters. I Love antique/thrift shopping! I go about twice a month. There are TONS of places here. Great video!!! Loved it and it made me a bit homesick. Glad the two of you enjoyed yourselves. All you have to do now is figure out a way to economically ship stuff back home and you’d be set! When I was in the 4th grade our little elementary school had a yard sale thing and my mom gave me a dollar to buy something. I came home with one of those cats done on black velvet. That was the last time she trusted me with money for a long time.
That's so awesome! I was in Las Vegas 23rd April- 30th. two of my friends and myself were 60 around the same time, so 9 of us girls stayed in Caesars Palace. It was such a great holiday. I wish I'd had time to visit the arts district! It looks amazing fun. I love the cushions ( I have 3 kitties ) and the telephones were some freaky styles! But the price of things! Way about my spending limit!🤪😃
That first store was great!! I loved all the vintage mid century furniture, and some of the lamp bases were so unique. Your purchases were perfect for your home.
Angie and Andrea, Thanks for the trip to LV. I lived there years ago -- the antiquing is better now than it was then. But, I still found some great stuff. Glad to see some of the things that I picked up have appreciated in price -- but you were right the prices were all over the place. Crazy fun to see all the things that are now considered "antique".
The Snoopy phone ❤❤❤❤ ( although I loved your pick too of the cat statue - love my kitties too ) My favourite uncle immigrated to the US ( from Ireland 🇮🇪 ) before I was born but I remember one year when I was still really young ( in the 70’s ) he sent presents. Some snoopy fabric for my Mum to make me a nightie, a snoopy hair brush and a snoopy wall mounted toothbrush holder. And we had called our dog ( black cocker spaniel ) Snoopy too so Snoopy brings back very fond memories.
I love tiqueing! Unfortunately the stuff in those stores were much too modern for me. My stuff ranges from 1810 up to 1920 or so. nothing newer furniture wise. I love the tiki cats.
You know you’re really old when a lot of the things in your own and your friend’s childhood homes are now in antique stores! 👵🏻

Angie and Andrea, Thanks for the trip to LV. I lived there years ago -- the antiquing is better now than it was then. But, I still found some great stuff. Glad to see some of the things that I picked up have appreciated in price -- but you were right the prices were all over the place. Crazy fun to see all the things that are now considered "antique".

My favourite uncle immigrated to the US ( from Ireland 🇮🇪 ) before I was born but I remember one year when I was still really young ( in the 70’s ) he sent presents. Some snoopy fabric for my Mum to make me a nightie, a snoopy hair brush and a snoopy wall mounted toothbrush holder. And we had called our dog ( black cocker spaniel ) Snoopy too so Snoopy brings back very fond memories.

I love tiqueing! Unfortunately the stuff in those stores were much too modern for me. My stuff ranges from 1810 up to 1920 or so. nothing newer furniture wise. I love the tiki cats.
