      +Belnap Custom Knives that's what I just said about a knife you made. I just watched a video you did where you make an angle jig and filed out a bevel then sharpened it. Thanks for the compliment brother

      +Snowfog Outdoors I'm a roof repairman and with all of the rain (and 2 young kids) we have had I am WAAAAY behind on all of the videos I want to watch. Thank you for the compliment. Also, I won't lie, my TH-cam notifications are all messed up for some reason so I usually go watch videos from my comment notifications. That means I'm gonna blow you up with comments over the next few days (as I try to catch up on your channel), lol.

      +Nathan4071 thanks brother, that means a lot comming from you. I have my very own "internet troll" tho, lol. I had a "dis-like" before I got the first 50 views. I lmao at that

      Don't trip on that, don't even mention it. You are just feeding the troll.

      +Nathan4071 i enjoy it a little. On the old channel i had a bunch of trolls so it kind of makes me feel like ive made it to the big leagues. Some asshat sitting in his his parents basement is so twisted up with jealousy that he has to give me thumbs down but doesnt have the balls to post. I do have a sick sense of humour tho, lol

    i am so glad you made this video when you did. i am about to embark on much the same thing and really appreciate you blazing this trail for me. some questions: if you epoxied the handle on the blade why also pin it? and how do you set the pins?

    • @survivorjohnny44
      @survivorjohnny44  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Renaissance MarineTV can you shoot me a PM and ill reply with my phone number so we can talk tjru it

    • @survivorjohnny44
      @survivorjohnny44  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      i left the pins just a little long out both sides and just peened them to mushroom them out a little. if you dont have some type of anvil just use 2 hammers (1 for an anvil) i did epoxy also just for added strength so it would stand up to battoning better

  • @ChrisCollier

    That turned out excellent! Great work!
    I have a few Mora blade blanks that I need to put handles on someday. They are not full tang like yours, so will be a little different to do. I just have to get the project started!

    • @survivorjohnny44
      @survivorjohnny44  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Chris Collier I saw somebody drill out a chunk of deer antler and fill it with two part epoxy then stick the tang of a Mora knife into it. It came out great. Thanks for watching and the compliment

      +Willy's Adventures when did you change your channel name? I'm sorry I don't know the name of it. John Capps said he bought it from Smokey Mountain Knife Works a long time ago as a close out. I don't know it it's even still made. It's a Remington is all I know. (Maybe you could P.M. Him for more info) thanks for the compliment brother
