i am so glad you made this video when you did. i am about to embark on much the same thing and really appreciate you blazing this trail for me. some questions: if you epoxied the handle on the blade why also pin it? and how do you set the pins?
i left the pins just a little long out both sides and just peened them to mushroom them out a little. if you dont have some type of anvil just use 2 hammers (1 for an anvil) i did epoxy also just for added strength so it would stand up to battoning better
That turned out excellent! Great work! I have a few Mora blade blanks that I need to put handles on someday. They are not full tang like yours, so will be a little different to do. I just have to get the project started!
+Chris Collier I saw somebody drill out a chunk of deer antler and fill it with two part epoxy then stick the tang of a Mora knife into it. It came out great. Thanks for watching and the compliment
