More horror stories for you. I visit a writing sub on Reddit a lot and a woman posted a question specifically asking about how to show that a secondary male character in her story was lonely in a realistic way. The most upvoted comment was someone saying he should probably unalive himself halfway through the story, have the incident brought up, and then the story just moves on as normal. And this wasn't being upvoted in a "Yeah, screw him" way, it was a "Yeah... that is how it is..." or "Too real, bro" kind of replies and upvotes.

Don't feel bad for Depp and don't feel bad for Heard. When you're famous you should know the risks. Young women will date and marry older men with money hoping to inherit that wealth. Depp of all people should have known that but still chose to get married anyway. He could have married Winona Ryder or stayed single. He could be a cheater for all you know as it's not uncommon for famous men to cheat. Both people in that relationship could have been unfaithful. What you hear secondhand is almost never 100% of the story.

I feel like a problem with this conversation about porn is a question of chicken and egg. I don't think men are looking at porn all day and thus not going out and pursuing women, but instead not pursuing women and so using porn to substitute what they weren't getting.
Like, think about it. If you spend decades telling men how seeing women sexually is wrong, telling them women don't need them, telling them they have a privileged advantage, and telling them they're essentially inherently evil because "apparently" until the last 150 years or so, all women were subjugated by men, then why WOULDN'T men decide not to engage.
Some men reject the message and decide they don't want to pursue a gender that hates them. Some men hate themselves so much that they can't get the confidence to pursue women romantically. And some see themselves as so inherently evil for thinking about women at all sexually that they don't want to pursue women for fear of bothering or hurting them.
Porn is not a cause, it's a symptom. And the biggest problem is that, unlike in past centuries where huge numbers of lonely men would lead to destruction and mayhem, we have relative peace because men are being sedated by all the various nick nacks and porn we have. If you get rid of the things sedating men before FIXING the real cause then it will backfire horribly.

Actually not. MOST MEN aren't the top 20%. And, research show that competent women have an easier way into managerial roles these days, because of all the quota rules etc. It's mostly the older generation who are the "most men," where as the younger generations of men are falling behind.
As for murder? A lot of things would indicate that crime and murder is done by the lower echelons of society where people have less hope for the future. So... by making men lose out even more in society crime will probably start to increase.

I did the maths a while ago, the chances of finding a male who is 6ft or over, earns over 100k per year, and is unmarried was like 0.7 percent of the American population, and that appears to be the criteria most women use on these dating apps even women who have well and truly hit the wall and are morbidly obese it's insane.
Then men look at these impossible standards, realise the game is rigged, and just decide not to play the game then people act surprised. Would you participate in a sport where every rule is set again just you and your team where winning even modestly is a miracle? Or will you just stop playing?
I tried conforming to the expectations of women and society and just ended up feeling alone, depressed and suicidal. Atleast now my loneliness is self imposed, and I am not nearly as depressed as I was as I set my own goals which are actually achievable.

The average woman in real life is happy with a dude who’s well-groomed, charismatic, employed and not fat - and even then, those some of those criteria can be over looked depending on the woman.
Each of those things are doable, so think about how easy it is to stand out in real life!

We live nextdoor to a restaurant, and once we got a call from the restaurant owner, saying our car parked in front, got hit. A customer had the wits to make a note of the car's license plate. I called the cops, the cops went to the owner of the car and it was an old lady, who said she hadn't known at all that she hit our car (she broke off one of the side mirrors). Her insurance paid.
The lady customer who jotted down the license plate left her address and phonenumber to us in case she was needed. She wasn't, but I went there and gave her a big box of chocolate as a thank you. Sometimes, living in a small town isn't so bad.

You know, in order to fix these kinds of problems requires one simple but rare thing: you have to care about people. Not 'issues' or 'society' or some nebulous 'positive change'. We need to actually care about human beings, and believe that a person has value simply because they're a person, or we will never fix anything.

17:04 bumble is dying because lately women haven’t even been going for the top 10% of men, just the top 2-5% and in some cities just the one percent. It’s way worse today. 13:00 no he’s right. It’s just making the problem harder to fix. Fightclub was a cautionary tale written by a gay man 30 years ago concerned with his fellow men’s condition. By today’s standards I’d say he was optimistic. Today, there would be no female romantic interest, he would just degrade further and harder. 18:15 Alana it’s worse. 60% of women are dating 20% of men based of data scraped from dating profiles. It gets even worse for specific groups of people. 20:55 what she doesn’t understand, is figures like Tate and Peterson are preventing much worse figures from taking their place, the supreme gentleman was worse than either of them, and 10 years ago I thought we’d have hundreds of men following his footsteps but with figures like Tate, ironically isolated male violence has gone down and most mass killings are just normal deranged people. 45:29 yeah. I sent Tenma $200 in October after a woman I’d been talking to daily for months disappeared because the last year of her degree was stressing her out a ton.

At least that;s what I've understood Peterson to be unless I'm just missing something I don't see why he's bad unless you just have the opinion that people make him out to be smarter than he is or something which I think could be a legit criticism but I don't understand how that puts him the same group of thought as say Andrew Tate.

I remember that Conan O’brien show, where a Hollywood writer told a story of what is wildly accepted as sexual harassment, then firing the victim, and everyone clapped, people thought it was hilarious, because she was a woman that did it to a man, if the roles were reversed, if she was a man groping a woman and then firing her, he would be finished. @@italianspiderman5012 im not really "downplaying it" its because like i said i don't think sexism in men and in women are the same.... when women say "i hate men" it isnt taken that seriously, cause it's (most of the time) not really serious. its mostly just a stab at men in frustration. when a man says "I hate women" its taken more seriously due to the malice that men have had against women. idk about you but i have been in both male, and female friend groups and the way men talk about women is pretty unbelievable. that being said can a woman actually hate men? yeah, but considering we live in a pretty male centric society it isn't as harmful or as malicious as when a group of men talk about women in a dehumanizing way, than a women saying "men are bad". cause im not worried about people on twitter or conan obrien or whatever im more worried about people in charge with our laws and legislation (which is mostly men)
I would like to reiterate that people shouldn't in general talk about the other gender in a dehumanizing way. i think it can only lead to malice and vitriol in your life. people have had bad experiences with men and women, but we should have level headed ideas about problems we face regarding our gender, and not turn it into a blue vs pink thing.

I believe that a reason that this is happening is the focus on the self. You know, the "if your friends dont believe in the same ideology that you do, then they're not your friends." Or the "if your husband doesnt like [thing] then you should dump him."
This lack of compromise and focus on "MY mental wellbeing"(when few people have been mentally sound these past few decades) is- what I think- the catalyst for the focus on the self. Then there are all of the other issues that spiderweb around this like the internet's ease of access, misandry, misanthropy, economical issues, and everything else.
I dont think that there is a single issue that is a direct lead to this shit and in turn will either send it into overdrive in the coming years or it'll be a huge undertaking to fix.

    Like miltary service.
The mayor eating cheese with wine tell you to be hapy at least you got caduce MRE.
This has been for literally the whole of society.
Goes back to even greece with Plato teaching bables while slaves clean his ass and farmers who lost their arm in war is homeless for not reaching the tide requirement.
With industrialisation, cities become bigger, so now you have ecosystems with THOUSAND more people.
Thus the whole "individuality", "self made", "you can also be a millionaire", is all hirarchical.
Woman? Woman are trophies, notches in belts.
Tho, now woman have been integrated to the factor, so now woman too are becoming the ones at the top and others at th beottoms.
Why you thinks the "girlfailure" and "female incel" has become more present.
Woman are not as much trophies, so now have to deal with reality of hirarchy.
And yes, i know woman already had some hirarchies in groups, now is just institutionalize.

I have little to no local friends cuz they either moved away or knifed me in the back and my local area is full of treacherous types or people I'd never get along with. I think one of the reasons there's a loneliness epidemic is the unfortunate thing being that infidelity has become more common and has made both men and women too scared to form attachments as they've been hurt more than once in most occasions.
I rarely hear my online friends say their relationship ended because the spark died and they mutually decided to end it and I hear way more "they cheated" and most of my relationships ended the same way. My last relationship was with a girl I knew for a long time, didn't stop her from sleeping with damn near the whole town while we were dating.
Biggest thing society can do is create some kind of social consequence to cheating. Even something as small as choosing not to associate with that person does *something*. It won't solve everything, but it'll show those who were once afraid that they may have a chance to get back on the dating scene and that there are good people within their community who have a sense of morality that helps direct them of who is trustworthy and who isn't.

One thing people get wrong. This is not just a western issue. China and India are having similar but different problems with this for different reasons. But it's the same basic problem. People talk about South East Asia with this problem like, "oh look, this small country there doesn't have this issue so it's a western issue.". Forgetting that the two countries with a combined population of 3 billion people are undergoing a major societal upheaval. India, gunna be honest on this one... kinda deserved. If I was a father of a girl I wouldn't want my daughter marrying into the Indian system. The sexism problem is different there, so much so I don't even think it should be labeled the same thing. China on the other hand. The One Child Policy that favored men has given the dating app statistic discrepancies of here an actual physical form in the brick and mortar world. There really are less women, and this has led to so so so many problems with men there. This is a worldwide issue with pockets of something that could be considered sanity.

due to westernization, india actually isnt really sexist at all anymore. Women are literally bullied when they are housewives or take traditional roles in half the country, and they promote education and job training heavily. The marriage system is also mostly love based not arranged now in most parts of the country except for extremely poor families with no choice. The women is also mostly treated with respect in the modern age, shit, the situation is biased against men in places like kerala and almost all large cities. People think india is the same place socially as it was in 1950, its weird.

Another problem is that men in tighter circles were defined by what they do or accomplish.
But nowadays, because of so many people, it doesn’t make you feel different to another person, like you don’t have different skills or things to bring for others.
And women can have those jobs now too, which is not a bad thing.
