The granadine has to be poured at the end, but very slowly by the edge of the glass and it will go straight to the bottom, this guy spill it on top and that was wrong!

The original recipe also called for creme de cassis. The drink was invented by Bobby Lozoff(sp?) along with Billy Rice at the Trident restaurant in Sausalito California in the early seventies. I myself tended bar in the bay area for thirty -eight years.

WRONG!!! the grenadine should not be tossed in carelessly. It should be added S L O W L Y in order that it can settle to the bottom and form a perfect crimson stripe at the very bottom of the glass. You add the syrup in at the very rim of the glass, so that the grenadine falls down slowly along the edge of the cocktail glass. You do NOT let the syrup mix thoroughly with the orange juice.
Actually it's either way. That's just the fancier way of doing it. A change like that wouldn't change the name of a drink anyway 😅

I went to this bar ordered a fucking tequila sunrise when it went to me the juice was four season 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I just want to flipped out but it was a week before the wedding of my sister 🤦🤦🤦 the bartender was so awful.

The grenadine goes in first, then the ice, then the rest of it.
Nathan Abraham you add the grenadine last, but poured quickly down the inside of the glass. Then it goes to the bottom, and rises up through the drink
