    I would rather have recliners than the dinnett.
    After hiking its nice to relax with your feet up.
    Have you ever done videos on truck campers?
    I would be interested in those as well.
    Which do you prefer to drive the A or C
    Great video!

    • @RVBlogger

      I'm with you about the recliners vs dinette! We have made a few videos about truck campers th-cam.com/video/btsdQlrSblY/w-d-xo.html this is one. We have another coming out in a couple weeks. The Class C was certainly easier to drive )at first) esp since it's much smaller. There is a lot more planning involved when we drive the A when it comes to roads, gas stations etc. Overall, we love both very much but for different reasons. 😂

      @@tinacathey8241 we would recommend a 24' Class C without slide outs. That length is easy to drive (even on city streets) and fits in any campground on state park. It is not intimidating to drive at all. The "no slide outs" is because though they offer more living space, they also will require maintenance or even break. As a solo RVer I don't think you would need the additional space as much. With a motorhome that size you can still tow a 2 door Jeep Wrangler. So now you could have separate transportation. And there is usually a great deal of storage in this size Class C, unlike a Class B where there is no storage. We also recommend getting it inspected (even new) by a third party inspector (not the dealership) to guarantee everything is good. And getting an extended warranty (3rd party not dealership) is a great idea, though it's a big out of pocket expense. As a solo female RVer, you'll want the added protection of a warranty for when things break and they will. We call a mobile tech, get the job done and only pay a $200 deductible versus $1,000s. I know this was a lot of information so please feel free to ask any other questions. Hope this is helpful.

    We have the 2019 Jayco Redhawk (24B?) and wish they had installed the tile backsplash around the stove, and find the location of the toilet impossible to use with the door closed, so we have to make accommodations when anyone is using it. I love all the storage we have but the door closing mechanisms had to be reinforced as the doors open up when driving. Our shower is bigger and taller, required for my 6’5” husband. Overall I’m pretty happy with our choice after scaling down from a 40’ Itasca.

It’s perfect for a female solo traveller who loves to do crafts. I could have a craft buddy with me. Is the toilet still porcelain? Thank you for not getting rid of the oven. I might be confused but I thought with the mattress having to fold that it was up by the pillow area. Is there a door for the bedroom? I hope this model still has auto levelling. That emptying the tanks is a simple process. It was at one time that the only options for this motor home had to do with the batteries and solar. Nowadays I think solar is important to have.

    We always need to know cargo carrying capacity. The cabinet over the bed with outlet and hole is for a CPAP machine. That "spice rack" is the pantry.

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's not easy to find the CCC of a motorhome. Manufacturers do not list that information on their website. We thought that was the reason for the hole in the cabinet. Thank you for watching our RV tour videos and commenting. We appreciate your support!

    • @terrysandiego
      @terrysandiego 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The CCC should be listed on one of the three doors to a class C. I would not buy an RV that would be overweight with more than two people, one dog, a full tank of gas and half tank of water (without yet adding food, clothes, grill, etc.). And, that could be a problem if the CCC was only ~1,700 pounds, which is often the case for today's equipment- and slide-loaded RVs. If a wreck occurred, the insurance company would be all over that, looking for an excuse not to pay.
      I have to admit, though, that my idea of camping is a microwave (not a tent). However, I can do without the slides.
      Thank you to the builders for continuing to move away from absorption refrigerators (I had the Norcold fire). @@RVBlogger

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@terrysandiego unfortunately not all RVs will include that sticker of information...drives us crazy! I completely understand about the lack of CCC being a deal breaker and a huge risk. I guarantee 90% of all RVs are over their GVWR! We have an absorption fridge in our 2008 Class C. We have to drive out onto the road to level up and plug the RV in overnight to get the fridge cold by morning!😫

    Do people really like this type of beds? You have to crawl in and out of them so I would never buy this kind of set up. First thing I would do is remove that bed frame and replace it with a twin size bed. Other than that I like the layout on number one
