This shows right there that even though Wally was under Ramesy's control he and Eobard share a lot in common like their both fans of speed which lead to being fans of Barry and want to be heroes like him then Barry just rejects them for different reasons but for Wally even though he was fill of jealous and anger he still managed to become a hero and for Eobard well he became the Reverse of it.

I felt Bloodwork thought Barry would change instead of dying. I think he had bloodwork’s blood still in him until Oliver cured him so he wouldn’t have died anyway. He didn’t even seem surprised Barry came back with Oliver.
I understand that Wally was controlled but why is this coming up? And why was Barry apologizing later in the episode. I thought Wally got over his jealously towards Barry and accepted him as a brother? He let that childish mindset go in season 3
I think he's apologizing to wally because Barry always puts the weight of the world and his friends and family's problems on his own shoulders. To find out how wally has been feeling and never noticed nor cared to check up on him, barry blames himself for not helping wally more. Even when barry isn't at fault he will blame himself, because Barry is also currently trying to overcome Survivors Guilt. Remember he was supposed to die during Crisis, but he didn't. And now he has to live with losing Nash, Frost, Caitlin, and Oliver. He feels very inadequate as a hero, because even though he saves the day he keeps losing those close to him. It also has to hit hard that he doesn't have a trio to fight by his side anymore as well. He grew used to having Frost and Vibe have his back.
