Lure Fishing for Cod and Wrasse - Tipped in the Surf! - Kayak Sea Fishing UK - Northumberland

A great day on the lures and light gear with cod, wrasse, coley and an unplanned swim!
Fishing the rough ground around Newton rock out of Beadnell and down towards Dunstanburgh Castle on the North East Coast saw loads of fish to the kayak on a mixture of weedless shads and metals. After a slow start the fishing really picked up when the tide started running and I finished the day happy, tired and a little bit wet!
