Please do more of these old castles and manors. I'm not British or European but i love seeing those old houses more than those modern ones! Because you can see modern houses everywhere in the world, including where i live. most of them are similar so nothing unique about them. But every country in the world has its own unique tradional homes where you don't usually see anywhere else. I especially love those houses when the owners still kept the traditional integrity of the interiors.

Funny, but Banksy:
- doesn't sign his works
- doesn't sell his works (except one time in a market with hidden camera and with the work “Game Changer” sold for helping workers and patients in Southampton's General Hospital )
- doesn't work on paper so you can frame it.
- he/she declared Galleries as "unauthorised sellers" of his/her work
So, IDK how the owner of this beautiful castle can hang one on its walls... All the pieces look more like prints, posters.

It's not Kirkliston Castle it's Carlowrie Castle just outside Kirkliston in a little hamlet called Carlowrie, I stayed in carlowrie when I was born

It just wouldn't be the same. Some of us like modern designs. We adapt to new things. I personally hate anything old in my house. Everything is modern and up to date

why do people have to ruin the authentic interiors in these old castles? just leave it alone! the inside is tasteless and has no character! the outside is stunning though and the grounds

Totally tasteless, dreary and oppressive. Lacking any charm or aesthetic. Might have been a good idea to have employed an experienced and professional Interior Designer. Relentlessly awful. Gives you a clue on why talented designers do not remain in Scotland. No market for people with real artistic ability.
