Had a 97 RMX and it loved to destroy the powervalves. Went through several sets and they continued to crack. First time they fractured and took out the top end. Id pull them out every season after and dye check them and usually found cracks and would replace them.
I am glad you are into the RMX, Now I have a question to everyone!! Will the 1996, 1997 or 1998 RM 250 crank work in the 1996 RMX 250 to stroke the engine and use the 69.00 piston, to get it closer to a 300cc because the 69.00 bore only gets it to 265cc Thank you, Allen
