Douglas, please send your Omegas to David, The Honest Audiophile, and to Lachlan Fenner (Passion for Sound) in Melbourne. Reverend Dr. Thomas, The Vegan Vicar.
@@ReverendDr.Thomas Won't be sending them to Dave he made some disappointing racial-views clear to me that I'm not cool with. Can send one to passion for sound though.
Hoping I get my email to say they are available. I shouldn’t get these, but I’m a sucker for small/personal projects. They look really good and I’m sure the sound is up there too.
14:53 The Eris and the Omega are at different price points …should be interesting. For me to give them a push ..the Eris needs to dethrone my Sen’s 650’s abd given the Omega it needs to give my LCDX a run for its money.
GM ☕️💊🥓 The first run of Doug’s new headphones has been well received. Given their price point , I currently have the LCDX (2021 Creators Edition) and am very interested if they are a worthy addition to my headphone stable. 🤔🤔🤔🤔👍
Hello, Toronto! I heard the LCD-X for the first time the other day. They are FAR too heavy for me (I'm selling my LCD-2 tomorow afternoon, for that very reason). Reverend Dr. Thomas, The Vegan Vicar.
When you don’t have major supply chains, and have to work in extremely small batches, things tend to cost more money to cover the costs of materials and maybe make a profit. DMS has been very transparent about everything and only has a profit of 4.68% off of the first production run which in materials, manufacturing and labor cost $200k
Made in the USA where labour costs are through the roof. That's why it's so expensive. If it was made in China it would be $300. Look at how good the Aune AR5000 is and that's less than $300 and is probably better than this $1000 headphone.
@@moe5809 Why though? Or just posting a negative comment with no constructive criticism because it's the internet and who cares if anyone has a good conversation? Let me give an example: The particular share of yellow is a little bright for my taste, but the overall open design and has a neat style that I haven't seen anywhere else that appeals to me. I'm not a huge fan of Red either so maybe if there are more color choices or even a different chose of material I would find these more attractive. What headphones do you have at home?
@@RaiOshynnCat I currently have the Sundaras and the Neo classic. I don't like the back of the headphones. I would rather see a nice mesh cover not the driver's and a piece of plastic. The color is irrelevant. I just don't like that look
This video made me grin like a kid in a candy shop! Thanks dude happy listening! 😄

I have unit 39. They are super fun you’re going to love them.
How do they compare with other headphones in your collection, at similar price range?
8:21 The first thing that hit me looking at this shot of the Omega is they remind me of the Wheels on my Hockey Roller Blades
0:00 - Start
1:14 - Reveal!
2:25 - Mysterious Note
3:35 - Frequency Response Shoutout
4:00 - Opening the box - Cable!
7:45 - Opening the box (again)
8:15 - The Omega DMS's!
12:14 - Try them on!
14:22 - Sudden Realization!
Great video! Definitely eye catching.
This saved lots of time. Thank you.
I already see a way to turn this into wireless with this 180 cup

Some interesting design choices here. Curious to know what they sound like!
Me too!
Ok, I like the red but the yellow might be better. I'm Jealous. Hopefully my pair is on the way soon. Congrats !

How much does this unit cost?
$999
The headband reminded me of Grados and a $1000 ?

Agree the design is just not appealing at all
