Awesome, I have been to Raja Ampat also Northern Part in 2011. In addition to Webbegong, Giant Manta, and also the Juvenille Bat Fish(all black and Orange Line along its fins)which I have never seen it anywhere else.
Underwater Videographer I’m so sorry it’s taken this long to get back to you. I completely overlooked replying to you - my apologies. The animation was done in FCPX and was one of the 3D cinematic titles called ‘Atmosphere’. I’m pleased you liked the video. Have a good Christmas and New Year.
Hi Steve , me again .. I have one question..if you compare between Raja Ampat and Sorocco .. which one would you choose to repeat go diving and why? Before your excellence video of Sorocco has post, I was focus on planning my trip to Raja Ampat and as we both know..it was an expensive plus extreme complicated logistic (not too easy to get there...as I live in Germany) . And now I do almost change my mind.. I know that someday we should visit Raja Ampat as its also amazing place for diver to experience .. what is your comments? Thank you so much for showing us your diving journey ..appreciated.
OneWorld, I like both places, for different reasons. Socorro does not have colourful reefs with lots of colourful fish, like Raja Ampat has. Yes, Both places are awkward to get to and both places are expensive, as you know. Regardless of which one you go to, it will be the right decision, as both are fantastic places to dive. If you like the warmer waters, lots of colourful reefs and reef fish, and with lots of Manta’s, then head to Sorong (Raja Ampat). But if you want to experience a very intimate experience, coming face to face with bigger Mantas, Dolphins and other sharks, then head to Mexico. The dive experiences are totally different to each other. I’m already going back to Socorro next year, and I will return to Raja Ampat the following year if possible. I love them both and are possibly my 2 favourite places, after Komodo. I hope that helps you decide? You can’t make a wrong decision, as both are remarkable places.
RJ4 will be our destination perhaps 2020, as 2019 already planned. I have question for you two.. between Galapagos.... and Raja Ampat... which would be prefer to go first ? and why?

Great video! I've just returned from Raja Ampat! Stunning! Which camera have you used for this footage?
I'm pleased you liked the video. The camera was a GoPro. Please feel free to watch my latest video from Raja Ampat (October 2023)

RJ4 is not hard to reach, direct overnight from jarkata will get u to Sorong at 7 a.m. I also dived at Sorcorro , they are different.
BTW, I also dived Northern part of RJ4, some sites did not really blew my mind, did not see any Manta at all. More manta at Komodo and Socorro.
