Postgame presser: Mike Norvell discusses 'extremely disappointing' loss to Boston College

- Florida State has fallen to 0-2 with a 28-13 loss to Boston College on Monday night at Doak Campbell Stadium. The Eagles ran for 263 yards, while FSU could only produce 21 rushing yards. BC had three rushers with over 70 yards on the ground. DJ Uiagalelei had the only giveaway of the game, an interception to begin the second half. Uiagalelei was 21-42 for 272 yards and one touchdown.
Following the loss, head coach Mike Norvell spoke to the media about the disappointing start to the season. Norvell said in his opening statement that he 'failed' in preparing his team. He emphasized that he still believes in his team. He concluded his opening statement saying, "Once again, this is all on me."
We got a Bye as an opponent this coming Saturday. Got at least a 50% chance of winning this one. lol

Go back and watch highlights of DJ's last game at Clemson, he played the same. This might be the biggest bust in the short Portal history. I would rather win with a backup playing with heart than a hired gun that is lost on the field.
DJ is NOT QB1 material.. he's a 5th year senior and not completing JV passes.. at this point, Brock should be given a chance at the QB1 position.. the new guys are the future of the program anyway...

@@adrianneal5004 almost every time Poitier or Lucas touched the ball there was positive yards gained, that’s something and in disaster you have to focus on moving forward, not trying to get your TE’s the ball 8 times and each time missing

Mike, do you believe what you are saying? DJ showed us two weeks in a row, he isn't QB 1. Mike, don't let him cost you your job. You knew he wasn't the right fit for the team, but continued to push this false narrative. He has no command presence in the huddle. Let young talent get a chance since these vets can't get the job done. We let two teams with less talent take our lunch box.
