My father, Captain Deseria O. BIshop Sr., was Captain and fisherman for 48 years. From Louisiana Menhaden, Smith FIsheries, Seacoast Products, Zapata Haynie and Omega Protein down in Cameron, Louisiana. I know of the sacrifice that these men make to provide for their families as well as the great opportunity that this industry provides for communities.

I've hauled fish meal from readville to nb Canada and pogies from oyster company maroon trucks they had. I live Maine didn't know that I love it
