Ah yeah forgot to mention the yellow blue eye bristlenose. I'm pretty sure that's what you're pointing out? But they're always on the bottom so I don't count them as activity in the tank. Thanks for watching John! Have a good one mate!
Yeah, I haven't seen them in person since but my uncle claims they're doing great and i've seen pictures of the two koi angels together, away from the big one. They've settled in now apparently. Thanks for watching Aaron!
Hey there Lararus Glad to see you back Hope all is well. Sorry about your bloody Mary shrimp. That val has gone wild I always transport my fish in a cooler bag too. .34.. wow .. -7 here currently
G'day Chris! Been a while mate! Yeah never using val again in small tanks tbh. It just grows too fast! Yeah cooler bag did the track. Mate i would kill myself in -7 degrees. I love the heat and it's taken like 8 months for summer to finally arrive. Sorry you have to go through winter now though. You, your family and your koi pond will get through it! 💪
Hey Lazarus i got 6 albino kribensis growing out hoping to get a breeding pair or 2😊 i finally found some!! Great video mate , great to see you back🙂👍🏻
G'day Jeff! Great to see you in the comments! Yeah those albino Kribs will breed for ya in a matter of a month or two. My kribensis fry started breeding 3 months in, so your shouldn't be far off! Thanks for watching mate!
G'day Jen! Yeah was moving around quite a bit in this video... Lots of fish bagging when I'm working at my lfs. That's my main job, working in the fish room and bagging fish up, so after a couple hours of working you get the hang of it quite easily! Hell yeah, summer content here we come baby!!!! 😎
Hey laz , great to hear from you again mate, wow that certainly is a very very healthy looking GBR, im sure the kribensis will do very well in there new home. I now have a tonne of betta fry , so busy time ahead for me lol
G'day Arnold! It has been a while! Yeah, i found the GBR at a fish store, and it was by itself and stood out from all the other gbr tanks, so I had to buy him! I certainly don't regret spending the $30 for him. Wow, yeah i've heard betta fry are a challenge, but fun. Good luck with them man!
Is that wise to ad 2 way smaller fish to a territory of a male fish? And I somehow heard you always need more females in one tank so the males don't tire the female out, because it will shorten the lifespan of females?
Yeah, you're right. I was a bit skeptical too. But we've decided in a couple weeks to buy the big male a female so he's occupied. For now tho the male has backed off and minding his business. When it comes to numbers, angel fish pair off from groups, and stay in a pair for most of their lives usually. If you have a male and 2 female, the male will pick one and leave the other alone and never breed with her. So keeping them in pairs is better so no one's left out. People grow them up in groups tho because they don't know the genders and want them to pair off naturally, and usually move out the left over angelfish. Thanks for the comment though man and I appreciate you watching!
Glad your back. Not sure if you realize there is another fish in the new crib tank? Check it out at 9:34 of the vid. Can't wait for more content.
