This thing was for sail a couple years ago before the suv swap, and was on the cover of a couple magazines! I wanted it!, super cool to see it evolve even more.
You go to a vintage car show and (in general) it's the same build over and over minus the paint color. Off road trucks, completely opposite. It's whatever your imagination can come up with. This is a very creative build. I am impressed with the details and the reasons for them. Built, not bought.
The muscle car market balloon that started in the 00's is to blame for that. Everybody wanted factory restorations for the money they'd bring. Now that the bubble popped for everything but the blue chip cars, I've been starting to see a lot more street car styles at car meets. I myself have a '71 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 and it's not stock at all. I went for a street/strip style. I agree it's boring when it's all the same.
Can someone explain this torque converter/stall converter lock out switch? How is this set up, what is it locking up, link to learn more or purchase etc. thanks in advance
I like the OBS and have one myself, 99 with the 5.7L Vortec ext cab with the 3rd dr. Looking into putting in the 4L80 and now need to look in that converter it would save a lot on gas.
96 was definitely the first year for Vorte*c* v8 engines. They were all tbi on obs's from 88 to 95, both l03 and l05's. Unless your truck is a V6 4.3, they did call those Votecs since '85. Or you have a tbi305/350 with Vortec heads. Def wont have cpfi injection though.
Not even a mention about the cooler center console? Love the Dadkar decal 👌🏼 that's going on my SUV off roader lol
Dig the no bypass clicking... looking into his setup for my build.
The inside of the bed is so clean I really like how he customized that.
Video of the S-10 please...
When the local PD subscribes to your channel you know your doing it right.......
More than likely just for a close up inspection of these trucks so if they see them on the street they already know what to pull them over for..

This is my kind of truck, love the Dadkar decal, some innovative ideas that makes you rethink your ideas and choices with your build.

Stuff like this is why everyone’s building Gen 4 LS based 07 to 13 Chevy Suburban’s now. Who’s going to sell the first complete kit though?

Did you see the obs kibbe built? Badass
Dude counter activated at 1:24
Is it really that dangerous to run full spool on a daily driver prerunner?
Yeah cause youre prone to kicking the rear end out on every corner. Especially if you give it too much gas. A locker is much better for the street.
🤙
That hood is loosely on though haha that's why it does that
💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
96 wasn’t the first vortex. My 94 Silverado 1500 came with a vortex engine. 😒
