@@eimracrallis1473 hi there..well this surgery was pretty harsh..ocr 23 rd.i had procedure..I came home on Nov 2 ND..the Dr pulled my RIB out..and my right kidney..that rib caused my Xtra pain..
@@nickpearce2968 operation April 17th. Removed golf ball sized tumor -stage 3 clear cell Renal cell carcinoma. Constructed what was left of my right kidney. Dr said the tumor came out of the kidney and was laying on my Renal vein. "More to worry about". Mri set up to see if it spread. Started immunotherapy. Scared to death. Honestly....thank you so much for asking.😔
@@bruce5168 thank you for sharing my wife was diagnosed 2 days ago. Stage T3b, right kidney. 6 cm tumor that grew a "tongue" floating inside and growing along he VC. We await word on when the surgery will be. She's 45, no family history, in great shape We are scared and in shock. Thank you again for sharing. Wishing you good luck on the mri. Keep us posted?

I’m now 6 months post surgery and pretty much back to normal. My Dr is watching my kidney function on the remaining right kidney. Treatment plan is lots of water and and a new med to increase kidney function. Honestly my experience has been quite low key to have had an organ taken from my body. I was off work for 7 weeks. My best advice for someone scheduled for kidney removal: lose as much weight as possible before surgery. Drink lots of water, limit your sugar intake and exercise as much as you are able.

@@seanrowe1333 hope you get better very very soon. I had my radical left nephrectomy last oct 26. Its tough but thru God's grace we will be healed.

Just diagnosed Feb 5th. 4cm tumor. Surgery for a partial removal. Unnerving to say the least😮
