Joe Rogan and his interviewee are pure hard-core materialists who will never comprehend and experience the genuine revelation of the self which is achieved by the practitioners of meditation. Such experiences award one with profound and valuable insights into the wide array of issues and allow one to come up with solutions so-much-needed in today's quite messy contemporary world, ranging from personal, societal, health problems, and many more. That Deepak's approaches are paradigm-shattering and ahead of time is of course problematic for so many scientists obsessed with morbid, exaggerated views that have enslaved the scientific community for decades and have led many to nihilism and different forms of despair. Guys like you call Deepak "liar", "hypnotist", a charlatan", at the same time cherishing this sick infatuation with atheistic science, whose proponents, among other things, boil a human being down to a bag of flesh, blood and bones driven by a soggy lump of cells called the brain.
And that scientific jugglery on the origins of life and universe, nailing everything down to randomness, that's been repeated over the years and subjected to numerous variations? This is the ultimate bullshit. Shame on you, guys.

I am an agnostic. However I feel, if Depak Chopra is contributing to humanity by helping ppl through hard times than there is value in his teachings. If you don’t see value in it than just pay attention to something else. If ppl decide to apotheosize him that is not his fault that is ppl’s own stupidity. I read some Chopra books and used his guided meditations that are available for free by the way. They helped me. I don’t take everything from Dr. Chopra, just what I find useful. Also, about 7 years ago, his opinions on quantum mechanics, physics put questions in my mind and inspired me to research the actual science itself and even took a college course on it. Joe Rogan never inspired me to do anything or made a hard day a little bit easier to bear. But I don’t go out and design an interview to try to prove he is crazy.

Making money on meaningless words is welcomed but making money on stuff which the woo woo minds don't understand becomes woo woo. It's a duality in the minds of those who are excessively using their minds, which Chopra has transcended.
It's natural. The ones who haven't transcended, will obviously focus on words and since the words have come from experience and the talkers haven't experienced, they'll deduce the whole argument to two words - woo woo.

First of all Deepak Chopra is a pioneer doctor not a kindergarten level doctor who also has understood eastern philosophy fully. For example mind science, yoga, meditation, consciousness and many more. Sam Harris in one of his latest book he concludes accepting Upanishads( Eastern philosophy)and Buddhism has the highest spiritual teachings compare to any other book. John hagelin, a pioneer theoretical physicist at Harvard agrees completely with Deepak Chopra. Amit ghoswami another pioneer theoretical physicist agrees what Deepak Chopra tries to explain. Means Kafatos another pioneer theoretical physicist at MIT a cosmologist wrote a book together with Deepak Chopra explaining what Chopra tries to explain. There are hundred more number in the list who completely agrees with Chopra not a kindergarten level scientist, ignorant scientist. To explain the nature of reality, one should give away the lens of western philosophy. Eastern philosophy on nature of reality is far more superior. Father of quantum mechanics, schrodinger, Heisenberg and many others like Tesla went along with the eastern philosophy with full glory. Schrodinger even quoted,” Whatever today’s science concludes about the nature of reality, resonates with the eastern metaphysics”. The two woo woo personality pretending as if they know everything cannot digest the western philosophy where there is a demarkation between man, god and the universe. And Deepak on the other hand is trying to explain god, religion according to eastern metaphysics, where Brahman( ultimate reality) is not same as God. Atman is not same as soul. Pretending as if you two are the most smartest people on Earth. Note down my words, if you two are really smart enough to understand the depth of philosophy what Deepak is trying to put bring him to your program and challenge him. Just don’t try to be over smart, having no guts to challenge him face to face and taking back at someone doesn’t take you further. And one more request do some intellectual exercise before bringing him to your program.

"the depth of philosophy what Deepak is trying to put'
You might want to go look up what scientists say about this clown. Like so many other "spiritualists", he treads into fields like particle physics and quantum mechanics and simply shits on himself. Read a bit, then you'll realize "word salad" is the best way to describe what comes out of his mouth.

Samiam 666 I agree with you sometimes whatever he tries to put seems to fly off the common sense and science based worldview. He is expert in mind body science no doubt whatsoever. The materialistic worldview of nature of reality has already shifted to spiritual worldview regarding body, mind as well as the nature of reality upon which quantum mechanics fully agrees with. I have been through number of videos of world pioneer philosophers, physicists who fully agree with Deepak Chopra check it out I am not exaggerating. Average people cannot grasp what he is trying to explain rather they are busy in their mundane life and finally come with a conclusion defining him woo woo. If you look at the world today billions of people are practicing yoga, meditation, mindfulness. People are becoming aware of their health, proper balance diet, good sleep, conscious choice, healthy and peaceful life and inclining more to spiritual aspect rather than material aspects. And Deepak has contributed to the well being of millions and millions out there to attain healthy life.

"He is expert in mind body science no doubt whatsoever."
No. He's not. Do you know that simply stating things as you just did does not constitute truth. You seem to have the same affliction as Chopra. And it sure doesn't mean that he knows everything. Considering that actual scientists who understand quantum physics will tell you that he doesn't know what he's talking about, I wouldn't trust him with anything. That is the problem when you pretend you know something when you don't. It puts into question those things that you might actually know. He'd be much better off keeping his stupid mouth shut when it comes to quantum physics.
"I have been through number of videos of world pioneer philosophers, physicists who fully agree with Deepak Chopra check it out I am not exaggerating."
So, I'm not going to explain to you how science works. You can find scientists who agree with all sorts of things. That isn't how science is done. We call that Cherry picking in the vernacular.
"Average people cannot grasp what he is trying to explain rather they are busy in their mundane life and finally come with a conclusion defining him woo woo."
No. There is quite a body of scientists who will tell you he is full of shit.

What is your point here? You sound like the guy who supports drug dealers because they give back to their community. That's a stupid concept. There are many OTHER professionals who DON'T babble along as Deepak does, and DON'T talk bout things they know nothing about. He needs to realize that there are things he knows, and other things he is just making up. The sooner he learns that, the sooner millions of people also will not be duped by him. This is the same argument people make about religions. I don't really care how warm and fuzzy they make people feel. They are full of shit. So is this clown. Instead of half truth and half made up woo woo, he should try 100% truth.

      Samiam 666 Your statements
“Considering that actual scientist.... that he doesn’t know what he is taking about”. I keep on repeating the names of scientists like Menas Kafatos, Amit Goshwami, Jay lakhani, John Hagelin and some of the eminent scientists of early century like Schrodinger, Bohr, Heisenberg and hundred more numbers in the list. If you are neglecting these names and I wonder whom you are referring as actual scientists then I have nothing to say.
“I don’t know really care how warm and fuzzy they make people feel. They are full of shit”. Before making any allegations on someone first of all you ought to study them, their work, the mass they influenced and contributions they made in the society. If you are unaware of the facts of someone than it doesn’t verify someone out there is wrong and woo woo.
Sorry sir, you don’t have to teach me how science works. I agree with you that Deepak is not master in physics. But to a greater extend, he has some knowledge on science not in terms of mathematical equations but in terms of philosophical aspects that’s why he successfully wrote number of books with eminent physicists. I think I don’t have to go with the names here.
We human beings have both physical aspects and spiritual( subjective)aspects. Deepak chopra engage with the subjective aspect. There was a conference of world expert doctors a couple of years ago. Everybody agreed that the pain and sufferings in the body, mind that an individual go through is purely 80 percent subjective, what I am trying to conclude here is for an individual to overcome sorrow pain and have healthy, peaceful, happy, balanced or conscious life he should strongly focus on subjective aspects with physical aspects and Deepak in an expert in subjective aspects.
Let me put some facts here
Deepak Chopra is New York Times best seller with with more than 85 books where 22 books were New York Times best seller books. Times magazine has described him as top 100 heroic icon of a country and proven him an expert at alternative medicines. Huffington post ranked him one of the influencer thinker in the world and one of the most influencer thinker in the medicine field.
If you still think he is shit then please do check up your mental status. There is some imbalance in your mental status otherwise how can you ignore these facts and still call him shit.

"otherwise how can you ignore these facts and still call him shit"
I made the point that he makes shit up and talks about subject he knows nothing about. I don't give a rats ass that there might be some things he DOES know. That isn't my point, and you should pay attention to my argument. Chopra does himself no favours by talking out of his ass when he gets physics wrong. For you to point to the numbers of books he's sold doesn't make that right. And the last time I checked Times magazine and the Huffington Post aren't experts on physics either. What kind of an idiot do you have to be to make this kind argument? At what point do 22 books on the NY Times best seller list mean that he knows anything about science? What kind of clown are you? This is besides the point that there are other claims he makes that are completely unfounded. REAL scientists don't buy his crap.
No wonder you want to defend this clown, you suffer from the same lack of thinking skills. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and Deepak's kind of bullshit is dangerous. It's pseudo-science. You might as well be arguing that religions do such wonderful things despite also being full of shit. That is not an argument to buy into things.
Talk about mental imbalance. Wow. You need a course in reasoning.
