I worry that the Arch Heart and the Matron are setting Bells Hells up by convincing them to become a vessel for Predathos. I wonder if the gods' ultimate plan is to kill the mortal vessel of Predathos in order to kill it along with them.
I have a feeling we won't be getting a campaign 4 any time soon. At least not in the way it has been done. I think the next campaign will be shorter. I really doubt we will get a 3 year long story again. I also think the next story will have either a major time jump, like maybe 1,000 years or longer or even an entirely new world to explore. Whatever happens I am here for the ride. Now I have to pack for my flight to NJ for the Critmas show. Merry Critmas to all Critters out there.
Would make sense. They’re bringing in lots of new viewers with the animated shows. Like me lol. Hard for people to catch up on 3 campaigns and years worth of lore. Would definitely like to see a new world, smaller setting, smaller stakes, learning alongside the players instead of watching people trying to play characters that shouldn’t be aware of stuff that they know from having been playing in the same world for a decade. Plus from a company perspective it makes sense to ditch D&D tbh. It’s the weak link in their chain. Too many rights and licensing issues. With the launch of daggerheart why wouldn’t they move to that?
Personally, i think that they are gearing up for a Daggerhart campaign which depending on how C3 shakes out might be in a new Exandria, or not. Hard to say, as i can see an argument being they still make money from WotC for their campaign books in Exandria and i can see them wanting to retain that but also start something new. In any case, C3 will shake up Exandria forever and i think there will be massive change at the end of this story and i cannot wait to see it.
If I’m not mistaken the gods have flees from Prodathos before and started over, and it found them and eat two of them. Why would any of them think that if Prodathos was freed they could just flee and start over and they will be fine? If it is freed it will track them down and eat them.
I find it interesting that a campaign 4 would even be a possibility. To me this looks like the end before they move 100% into their own game daggerheart. Eager to hear thoughts on the contrary.
I think it’s a possibility they’ll switch to dagger heart but I don’t think that stops the chance of it being in Exandria, they already have a dagger heart in exandria game planned and I don’t see Matt ready to move on from exandria quite yet
I have a feeling like they might ease into daggerheart but this would be a good opportunity to close a chapter in exandria. It feels like they’re heading towards the end of an era that could give them a good opportunity for a time skip as the switch games.
Whenever D&D changed editions it was usually accompanied by significant changes to the forgotten realms setting. And since Daggerheart lacks cleric as a class it wouldn't surprise me that getting rid of the gods would act as a meta precursor to moving Exandria into Daggerheart. Though considering the fact that the Exandrian daggerheart game is set for an October liveshow it is possible that "campaign 4" may not be in exandria in addition to not being D&D.
@danielpowell1671 i dont forsee them abandoning dnd.. that would be pretty dumb from a business standpoint.. dnd is the big name that draws attention.. yeah there will be fans of them that follow, but just having daggerheart as an additional show like candela obscura makes more sense... idk if i spelled that right.. i didnt watch much of it, because it was meh for me.. as would daggerheart be for many dnd fans.. They're a company now with employees that they need to pay.. that would be risking losing alot of income.
@@tonystauffer8619 As far as the business goes I suspect that it is the quality of the storytellers more than D&D that brought them fans. So if that sense playing their own TTRPG would basically be free advertising for their own products which would likely be much more profitable for them then fans buying Wizards products. But now that they have Beacon, Darrington Press, Meta Pigeon it wouldn't surprise me that they shift their focus to whichever is most profitable for them. Whether that be the animated series, a CR video game, or CR campaign 4.
honestly I would not be surprised if this whole campaign sets the world of exandria up so that the next campaign uses the Daggerheart system in a way we don't even question.
I think the 4th Exandria campaign won’t start til after the slate of live shows in 2025 are done. I could see them playing Daggerheart in an original setting with one of the other players as GM in the time after they wrap C3, and it seems like there could still be a bit more story to tell with the fallout of whatever happens on Ruidus… maybe taking it into the spring around the anniversary.
@@lowis4686 not gunna happen. He absorbed tons of fae and didn't get anything from them except a longer life and SOME power. He won't all of a sudden become a ruidusborn enough to be a vessel. Wishful thinking here
I love camping 3 and I am gonna miss campin 3 when it is done show has a special place in my heart land I wonder what is gunna happen to imogens mom and if she is gonna come back to life?
Arent there 2 "missing" Deities that are listed but we know NOTHING about? What if those 2 Deities killed each other and the psychic backlash of their hate for one another CREATED Predathos and thus made the "came from the stars" story to obscure truth
Fun theory but it's heavily implied that Predathos was the force of nature that set the events in motion in the earlier prologue part of Downfall and that I believe (it's been a while since I watched Downfall) 2 individuals were killed during the event that had them lose all of possibility during the sundering of the Luxon Palace place. It's heavily hinted that those were the gods that are currently missing.
@@Aurora_Lightbringer I thought it was a fun thought because the missing 2 are Primordial Gods.. I just figured if 2 Primordial Gods Battle to destruction.. it might have created a Primordial Force of Nature as a backlash
Funny you'd mention sealing Prodothos inside of a jinchuuriki. Ruidus being a prison for him is just like Kaguya being sealed in the moon in Naruto. Ruidus is a giant Chibaku Tensei.
If your like me? We have seen all the campaigns and the side campaigns and the one shots, even their Amazon series but we really don't know what's inside of Merser's head. Sure... we can try to follow all the hints, clues and general directions that Merser allows his players to know but do we really know much? I'm exicted to see what Mercer has in-store for his table and us viewers. Good luck trying to figure out Merser's brain. Only time will really tell us the story of Exandria. My feelings... All hurbis, selfish persons or organizations that are abusing their position of power need to go down. Good bye, good riddance. Let the truth be known by kindness, respect and love.

This feels like the end, I think they are either going to call it quits OR shift to a different game, or at least a different world
Ludinus was a child in isolcrost who watched the city fall. Not a citizen on Aeor.

With Ludinis absorbing imogen mother ruidis born power. he can now be the vessel of prodatos himself no need for Imogene or Fearn anymore
I sorta think a snow clone is absorbing because ludinis is to vain to possibly sacrifice himself
