Best Console case out right now. The flexibility is amazing. Planning to buy a TX240 slim radiator and single slot liquid cooled gpu to utilize the space!
This looks amazing. First ITX console style case I'm considering buying, specifically because of pretty much all the functional goodness you pointed out.
Holy smokes why did this video come out so late =( I just bought the sub decent Sliger Conswole and had quite the bad experience with them. Waited over a month for them to finally ship it with the wrong front panel connectors. This Salvo has better mesh sides, better top ventilation, better customization than the Conswole and has a mesh dust filter! Insane. I have to make my own for the Conswole. Thanks for the review, keep up the great work!
The internally routed A/C cable looks identical to the Mac Pro Server Late 2013. Model #A1481 . I'm using one with my Sliger SM560 for low-profile sleekness.
The prospect of running my 1080 Ti Mini and Strix Essence together in a SFF case sounds amazing. I transitioned from a Cerberus to a Dan Case to the latest Lazer3d. This changes the game.
You should test these console style cases in the horizontal position as many customers may be looking for it to fit in an entertainment center where they would keep consoles.
This is my favorite case now! I loved the Sentry 2.0 because I can toss it in a backpack but most of the new GPU's are to thick and they have a flow through design. I bought the Sliger CL530 and it solved everything except it's to big to fit in a backpack. Then I got this case. Fits 3 slots GPU with flow through are designed and fits in my backpack!
I've been waiting for a case with the GPU and CPU intakes on the same side. IMO it could be a tad thicker, but overall, if I decide to build an ITX machine, this would probably be my choice.
4:35 I made one for my ITX case. Installed it on the back too, on a role for WiFi antennas. I hate to hold the power button for several seconds when a simple click would do the job.
I don't know, people spend hours to make a button which they will use to save maybe a total of 20 seconds in the whole life of the computer of power button holding. If it takes an extra second to reach and an extra second to... unreach, for a lack of a better word, even less useful.
@@magoid Bet you're ignoring a lot of time. Time spent thinking "yeah i should make a button", time looking though endless catalogue of buttons in mouser or whatever equivalent in your region, time picking up the mail and unpacking it, time spent confused where you put all the bits. And in the end, 15 minutes, even if you had everything at hand, well that's still a lot more than the time you save. Even by reading and responding to my replies, i have wasted a LOT more of your time than you"d ever spend holding down the power button.
@@SianaGearz Catalog? I took spare parts from a older chassis to do it. I'm sorry for your mental impairment, but this is not funny anymore. Take good care kid and go do something useful, OK?
With this amount of thought put into it (materials and build notwithstanding)? None. All of the mainstream case manufactures don't care about this yet.
Micro Center needs some of these and some Sliger cases. It actually blows my mind they don't. I don't order stuff this expensive. It is a pain to return if you don't like it.
I've been using a Node 202 for a few years now. It has been a good experience overall, but I have been thinking about changing things up. Maybe this case will be the one to force my hand.
You should probably check out the Skyreach 4 Mini by NFC Systems. It's around the same price and is genuinely tiny at around 7L with both sides ventinlated. It has its weirdnesses (mostly clearance and PSU) but definitely worth the fun and probably the tiniest console case you can get that can still fit beastly performance. I'm sure Josh (the creator, he's "NFC Systems" on TH-cam) would be happy to send one over or something. Check him out becuase he's a genuinely awseome dude who loves what he does. Peace ^_^
What I'd like to know is if the GPU PCIe slot can be moved to the most forward single slot for a GPU w/ a water block and a slim 240mm in the back with some slim fans in between the radiator and gpu?
I would appreciate if you could include Raven's RVZ02 in your comparison. It is a bit old and bigger than the S402, but it comes with dust filters out of the box.
I'm legit interested in this case. I had been looking at the Node 202 but I like that the cpu and gpu intake are on the same side of this case as I'm looking for horizontal orientation.
Looks awesome! just wish mATX boards would get some love by casemakers... Then again, I would still complain. I use a Blu-ray drive still and all dem fishtanks don't have a blu-ray slot and support for mATX case unless I go a size above and have an oversized box-- ... ah, wait. Thermaltake Core X2. Oversized black box. oh...
7:14 Wouldn't you want those side fans to be exhaust with nearly all gpu's except maybe reference cards? The air can get sucked in by the gpu fans, go thought the heatsink, and is sucked out by the exhaust fans. If you take the side fans as intake, they might just be fighting the gpu fans and increase temperatures as the gpu starts to circulate air.
I like these thin set-top-box like cases, I just hate that they are ITX. mATX be like hello, I exist. I did find a Silverstone case as thin as this that I'm working on, that supports mATX. It looks really cool, albeit better than these ITX models I seen lately.

Man, whatever happened to Steam machines... still a great concept IMHO, yet its flawed execution killed it prematurely. (Thinking of the possibilities, especially now with the "killer app" Proton. Damn shame.)
This case is cool, but the producer officially tells on the website that it is gone for good. Sold out and will never return. Also please don’t spin so wildly the cases during reviews, you almost made me throw up
I think the Conswole beats this case in terms on building ease and style. Those exposed phillips screws on the exterior are unattractive. The vent holes were not aesthetically done well either tbh. Also dislike the fact that you need a mat because the feet can scratch a table.
Please check whether the chimney effect actually works before talking about it, otherwise you might unbeknownst be spreading marketing-bs. Gamers Nexus disproved its effectiveness for several cases already!

I think that looks really good actually, and that vented side is AMAZING for heat removal!

Sliger Conswole is quite good, if you want a bit more thickness (for a beefier air cooler).
