Testing and reviewing the brand new release from FMS, the FCX 10 K5 blazer. This thing is so awesome. The features that it has or not available on any other rig on the market they take the best of what everyone has to offer and build the ultimate or to your trail crawler it’s definitely the most affordable and the best option in my opinion despite a few small issues that are easily fixed

I took the stock headlights from a trx4m f150, and used them for reverse lights after first using Wingnuts video mentioned here. I just snipped the orange LEDs off, and put a new plug on the end of the trx4m harness, then plugged that into the REV port.
I'm a Ford guy too but do like the K5 and all the straight axle Chevys, and ya they definitely surpassed Traxxas with this one , good video 😊

I’ve not seen to many Orange ones I just got mine & haven’t even ran it yet but I’ll definitely get some footage when I do get out with it. The Black also looks super good but I have the matching 1:24 FMS Orange Blazer so now I have a matching pair. 👍
I requested the orange one, they were originally going to send me the black one which they did end up sending me for an event. I have coming up with them so now I need to get a brown one to complete the collection plus I think the brown is honestly my favorite it’s a tossup between that and the orange, but the brown is just so old-school looking.

OK, so I just got done talking to FMS and I think I have a solution for all of my Canada viewers. They can’t send them to Canada because of shipping costs but I can set up a thing through my Facebook or my channel where if you guys want them I will order them and re-ship them to you.

Looks cool, the electrical contacts make me nervous . The dig function I wouldn’t use, some people will . The proportions are off when it comes to side windows , roof etc. looks kind of funny , same on the new 1/18 truck. But that’s nitpicking , overall looks like a fun rig !
I was worried about the contacts as well, but I had it in water and didn’t have any issues
@@WingnutsRC I do like the rear wheel drive option , use 4wd when needed like a real truck , I do like the Chevys , I have Fords too. It would be nice if a company was brave enough to make something else, I understand they build what sells, but we’ve had lots of jeeps, squarebodys etc. need a change up I think, just my opinion.

Another TH-cam review was reviewing this rig and during the review the micro servos started to act up and were Not fully lock and unlock the diffs
I think it’s issues with them needing adjusted. I don’t know for sure, but I assume the demand for their products is pretty high right now higher than they’ve ever experienced and because of that some things slipped through the cracks with quality control. Fortunately it’s just minor adjustments from what I’ve seen. With the exception of Toms orange one although that lucky guy got three🤣
If anyone does have any issues with any of their FMS stuff definitely add me on Facebook and message me I’m more than happy to make videos or walk anyone through any issues
Do you have any idea why the fcx10 can't be sent to Canada? The new fcx18 can be. I got an Atlas 4x4 Shipped here!. what's the difference with the fcx10? Is it that much heavier then the Atlas?
They should be available in Canada. I will double check but I’m sure it’s just something with the system catching up.

That’s awesome. I’m glad to hear that you ordered one. I will definitely be putting a video up of how I deleted the flashers and turn signals. It was super easy and I didn’t have to cut anything. I believe they’re coming out with metal bumpers and some other upgrades, check my affiliate link in the description as that link also helps tremendously with the channel. As soon as I saw the reveal video, I knew this was born to be a TRX4 killer, and I love that. I'm very invested in Traxxas as they were my very first crawlers and bashers, wife has the TRX6. It's about time somebody really stepped up to the plate with real competition that can't be beat, imo. With the updated chassis of the FCX18 and now this, nobody is doing it like FMS and FairRC. I also have the updated LC80, which is a BEAST straight out the box. They're KILLING the game at amazing prices, performance, quality, and quantity. Not to mention all of the mod rigs. It's just amazing. FairRC is a super fun site just to even look through. Hats off and kudos to them both. Eat your heart out and beat it, Traxxas, far as I'm concerned. Tho, they still have their place, in a way, as far as bashers and whatnot. They're just too damn proud for my taste, anymore...

@jeffreysmejkalii8031 Go with the FMS FCX10. I have many TRX4's, and the FCX10 is so much better and enjoyable by a long shot, imho. I will never buy another TRX4 now. The FCX10 is every bit a TRX4 and some. So much more, even if they were the same price.

I have one on the way. That's said, this video is just a paid advertisement. Traxxas banned ya and FMS sent ya every car they make. In return you're promoting their vehicle and making statements like " the shocks feel better than axial or traxxas'.
Not at all. I will let you be the judge when you get yours. It honestly is an awesome rig and I don’t get paid anything to do this stuff. Yeah they send me cool cars but that’s because I do a ton of work for them I give them a lot of their marketing ideas. Casey and I are the ones that came up with the FMS go events as well as a lot of other stuff with the company. I would give the same honest opinion to any other brand that sends me anything to check out. If you look through my channel I have promoted pretty much everyone at some point or another and I’m actually putting on a few events this month, directed at other brands, traxxas being one of them, as well as axial… only reason I do so many things for FMSis because they send me a ton of cars. Trust me I wish the other guys would send me stuff to review as well.
@WingnutsRC watching your video about being banned and then this it seems pretty clear that you're receiving compensation from FMS. As for mine, I received it and have two packs through it. I'm not impressed. It doesn't crawl well. The body is a pain in the ass to remove. The esc froze in reverse once. The indentations for the bed cap don't align with the supports meaning the cap isn't a perfect fit. A clicking has developed in low gear and the license plate fell off. I feel I should have spent my money on a Trx4 Defender. The FCX10 looks nice and is fun in second as a trail truck but even trucks $100 less preform better when facing moderate rocks. The countless misspellings on their website should have been a clue as to their quality control. I've seen several reports of dead servos both steering and micros. Even the steering servo isn't a standard size making a replacement more difficult than needed but you failed to mention that didn't you? Like I said, this was a paid advertisement. You do you though, I'm just sharing the impression your video gave me.

@@franklee6301I have mine & put everything together & I have no significant complaints so far but time will tell & so e of this info seems overstated & deceiving for example the license plate comment well turns out I remove my license plate STICKER & put a new one on & I can say this that sticker was thick & on there good so you must be referring to the sticker came off that’s a big difference then saying the license plate fell off & they give you a bunch of extras’ & you didn’t state anything didn’t work or broke & also I put my shell on & I will say the mounting is not very good those huge holes you have to drill are just to big rails maybe would’ve been a better way to mount it. But over all you have to look at the price for that price it’s 100% worth it & when comparing the price to a Traxxas TRX much cheaper & you can still say it’s build better or looks better but the FMS has more features including full light kit that is wireless let’s see what Traxxas would charge for a light kit like that. 🤨
