Hi Lou. I find this video very helpful indeed my friend and I'd like to thank you for that. I recently got the Mashigan and a couple of 9 inch figures for it to keep the balance of the body reasonably level. I think they look just the right size and I'm happy with them. I've just bought one of these FJ's and I'm waiting for it to be delivered. I've never seen one in real life before and watching yours with the new figures shows me that the body is larger than the Mashigan. I must admit I was surprised because I thought the Mashigan was huge and I was going to share it's 9 inch figures with the FJ which has exactly the same chassis. But after watching this your 9 inch figure looks too small to be a driver and I think I'll have to look for a couple of 10 or 11 inch figures instead. Could you please tell me if your 11 inch figure fits in OK with the roof on, or would 10 inch figures be more suitable? I couldn't really tell from your video and I intend to run mine with the roof on most of the time, so any advice would be welcome. Thanks Lou. Big thumbs up for the video. Great run.
Thanks so much for the visit, the Fj40 is an odd size it's closest to 1-7 scale they really make these FMS vehicles odd. The driver is a Barbie 11.83 inches give or take 1or 2 mm. The little girl is a collection from barbi called Skipper she's Barbies babysitter and 9.5 inches tall. The best fit is truly a 10 inch figure very hard to find for a reasonable price. I found some in Europe but we're over 100$ USA dollars I didn't want to spend that much 200 USA dollars not on 2 action figures. The barbie were 10 USA dollars each. I hope this helps I did have to heat the legs at the knees and bend them carefully because they aren't Articulating. I want the mashigan to I've heard that it is larger than 1/10. I'll put the top on the Fj40 to see how it fits and get back to you in a couple hrs. When I get home 🙏✝️☮️
So the head is right a the top, the top does fit on the truck with the figure in place, but it would be nice if the figure was 10 inch so the head is more visible. That's my recommendation. With my top being off the figures I have I feel work good. I'll still be shopping for 2 ten inch figures patiently. Because I don't want wrestling figures or military figures or all plastic figures. I like my figures to be like everyday people, with hair Clothing, glasses shoes you know what I mean I'm sure🙏✝️☮️ hope I've helped a little bit

It's been extremely useful because I have a couple of 10" figures in my GMade Sawback and I'll try them in the FJ when it arrives. They may not be suitable though because I had to shorten them for that by taking some mm off their necks. But if they look too small in the FJ there are plenty of Charity shops nearby where I could find something suitable. They always have a selection of used dolls for sale. I agree with your sentiments and refuse to pay the crazy prices for some figures. I think your Barbies look great with their real clothes, and especially like the way your drivers hair moves when she's driving over the bumpy terrain. It certainly adds realism to the equation.
