I'm from the UK, thought I would give you a little more info on Caroline Flack (the woman mentioned, who took her own life), She and Harry went out when he was very young, she was a lot older than him, he took a lot criticism for that, mainly from the British press, she was a tv presenter mainly known for Love Island, she was always happy and funny (so it would appear) her and her boyfriend got into a domestic and he called the police, of course it all became public knowledge and was splashed across the press, long story short, the boyfriend dropped charges, but the police still took it to court, she was hounded by the paparazzi (mainly the Sun, you could read about the Sun on here, lots of Brits won't buy it and call it the "Scum" They helped to destroy her, she was found dead on the 15th February 2020, she just couldn't take anymore, Harry stayed as private as he always does, but you can see him at the brits after he had performed and was wearing a simple black ribbon on his lapel 😢 Just noticed you got your 10k 🥳 congratulations x

this song is a tear-jerker anyway, but this performance is the most haunting for sure. always brings tears.

The song is not about her but this performance was definitely a tribute to Caroline. This was one of the very first few videos I watched by Harry when I just found out about him in late '20. One of the best ones tbh, draws you in and makes you a fan very easily, even without the context
Harry loves performing and being able to have this as his career so you won't hear him really talk about the dark side of it but there is a very dark side to it and it comes at a price. A lot of people are under this false impression that he has a charmed life when he has actually been through a lot of really painful things.
This is a terrific performance, given the news about Caroline Flack and his recent mugging - it must have been very hard to do and it's so emotional, it's hard to watch.
That video always give me chills. He is a great story teller and is great at relaying emotion. He's bringing back an old school vibe but mixing in his youth. He is a winner.

There's interview of Harry with zane rowe where he says how important therapy is and he lost one of his "friends" during lockdown (caroline). You guys should watch that interview, they talk about his creative process and lot of other stuff. 08:40 you just gave me a heart attack by saying his ex-girlfriend .Just wanted to correct you Caroline Flack was NOT his ex-girlfriend. Harry was 17 years old & she was 32 in 2011. Do you really believ he "dated" Caroline ? It was a made up media thing which makes harry's image a womanizer. In harrys words - " if there are pictures of 2 people walking together doesnt mean they're dating" .
Yes, they were dating. There is another interview where Harry and Louis are talking about how Harry was the pursuer. Caroline had affairs with more than one young man.
