That is correct. When you are fighting Potemkin never jump. He'll try to condition you to jump with Slidehead. Don't do it. Just block.
He'll also try to condition you to block so that he can Buster you, but it's always better to get hit with the PB than to get hit with the HPB.

Potemkin is the most boring character to fight against can't do anything cool he doesn't have anything fun or interesting about him or his moves he's the lamest character I've ever seen in a fighting game leveryone else is way better they actually have a lot of different moves that make them awesome unlike him doing nothing but being able to just grab spam and his trash mega fist shit he's so damn plain and a waste of a character slot every other character is way more cooler like even Leo is better then him even tho I can't believe I said Leo is better but that's just facts in my opinion...✌
The fuck are you on about? Potemkin is the most hype Grappler in fighting games with the exception of Beowulf from Skullgirls because hype is literally one of Beowulf's mechanics. I don't even play him and I have a healthy respect for him. Being able to reflect projectiles with the flick of a finger is sick as shit and a Hammer Fall Roman Cancelled into Potemkin Buster from across the screen is the fastest I've ever seen a grappler get in and absolutely horrifying to experience. I love it.
If you want to talk about lame look at Justice in XX Accent Core Plus R. You don't even get to play the fucking game against her. If you're new to Guilty Gear maybe get some more practice so Potemkin doesn't fold you in half. We all know he's scary. A good Potemkin can read you like a book and leave you questioning your entire existence. Just work on your mix and spacing, backdash the grab attempts and for the love of god don't let him put you in the corner.
