Out of all of the overlayed dubs on the talking character in the cannon, Millia and Leo feel the most natural to me, of course Faust too. Can't blame it thought when the translation of the sentence is longer in english than in japanese, at least the dialogue being cut off sounds funnier.
that's the thing abut video games, having an objective to them is important,but the key most important factor is that they should be fun and it seem a lot of gaming companies have forgotten about that so i totally agree.

Tbh, the VAs are good especially Kaiji Tang (Faust), Matthew Mercer (Zato-1), Yuri Lowenthel (Bedman), and well a lot of the female voice actors, but like...the voice acting directing is so bad. They could've easily moved some a little bit later in the instant kill to make it make sense and not do what the Japanese version did and start early but it's just so awkward. I don't even mind that some were cut off because let's be honest, it makes sense in this situation
I love how they went all the way to design an entire fleet of battleships plus individual dialogue, for all characters, just for a cool super. When it comes to imaginative designs GG is king.
My favorites are easily Leo (who's just fucking Hyped to be shot out of a cannon) and Zato (who just has such an insane amount of dialogue that gets cut off by the cannon explosion that it's hilarious)
Kinda sad that you didn't show *ALL* of the reactions. Slayer has an amusing one. "This is rather calming--what?!" → "I-I see. Would you be so kind as to aim toward Shiriana? I've a friend there, you see."
I'm more bummed that the English VAs didn't seem to put much panicked emphasis in the voice. Not to mention, it almost would have been better for the shorter ones if they'd finished what they were saying JUST before the cannon fired. Ah well. The job's been done, but still, this Instant Kill is definitely one of my favorites, next to Faust's.
Some characters did need to be emotionless but it was the first dubbed gg so can't blame them for not having a great grasp on the characters Plus some might be fresh meat
