I've talked to the guy who made the combat for this game and he said that it's a one-off, there won't be a sequel to Furi and I don't see why it would be needed.
I remember getting the Song's ending during my first playthrough. Surprisingly, I felt pretty good about starting over from the beginning. Maybe because it meant I didn't have to ponder any moral questions about whether I should ignore that ending and continue that save or not.

Ok, this is how I think the story goes. The Mother Ship sent the Rider on some kind of recognition mission so its race could invade the planet. The Rider was captured and imprisioned. Warriors around the world were selected to be Guardians and protect the planet in case the Rider escaped. The Rabbit was chosen against his will, he wanted to see hi daughter again so freed the Rider. Thats why in one of the phases of the game he says he already took care of the boss. So, in one ending the rabbit gets to see his daughter again but his world is distroyed. In other ending the rider realices that the rabbit wanted to see his daugther (cause I dont see another reason for him to save the planet) and destroys the mother ship. And in the 3rd ending the rabbit never sees his daugther again and you ge to bang the Song for eternity :D
ye much is true but i think bunny was a prisoner as well not a guard i think bunny knew about the Invasion so he made a plan which doesent works (story) then he made another plan with setting the rider free so he could get out by telling the story the bunny expexts to bring the rider to the descision to destroy the mother ship and save the planet thats what I believe youre hypothesis seems to be right maybe (sorry for my Bad english im german ;D)

Seems clear to me that The Voice knew exactly what you were. He also was not risking your release only to be free to see his daughter, but save her and the planet from possible destruction. He must have figured out how your mothership, species, ect, operates. Why else would he have gotten locked up? He wanted to free you because he knew you were the only one who could stop the imminent invasion that you were a part of. We see the Voice mention that The Line had figured out your origins to some extent, and so obviously, the Line had shared that info with him, as for specifics, though, I am not sure how much the Line told of and how much the Voice figured out on his own. The Song had The Voice locked up himself out of her "self righteousness" and "arrogance", even though her intentions were good, she simply refused to take part in allowing the Voice to attempt his plan. Also, look at the way The Voice was priming you the entire game about how great planet Earth is, hoping to convince you of that while maintaining that the Guardians are evil (when he knows that their purpose is to protect the Earth no matter the cost) so that you will fight on until you are out of the prison. Also, recall how upon killing The Song, The Voice "likes" your hesitation. "It gives him hope." His goal was to get you out, but equally, to change you so that you would make the "right choice" (the good ending.) Seems he knew you would have to make that very decision. Why else would he have freed you, given what we already know? Almost all dialogue supports it in hindsight. Somehow he knew everything.

Purple bunny guy knows, that's why he's helping you get out and he is mad that they decided to use such an innocent person as a jailer. He knows that you'll have to kill her in order to save earth, the jailer is the key, kill him and you'll be free.
"This is a fight between you and your conscience, we both know who should win" There are some Triple A games with less story than Furi, though to be fair Furi has one of the best storylines ever.
Honestly, the storyline is fine, but the character development is non existent xDD. I mean, the only one with some kind of a development is the main character if you choose to, and it the typical "oh look, the no emotions character suddenly has compassion". Plus, if you decide to do the right thing and stay with The Song then the game ends and you're explained literally nothing about the plot. Even when you finish it, you're not even close to being told things about the characters. The bosses end up being interesting design with no background. They're just representations of a single basic idea ("revenge" on the fish-head guy, "improvement" from the samurai, "challenge" from the techno girl...) and little more, which makes the story lack a lot of content imo

It made sense to him that earth should be destroyed for their race to live on, but he knew that doing so would cause more and more planets to be consumed, he always knew this, but was alright with it. Till he saw earth, which was i assume one of the few planets he saw that had sentient life. Going through so many people and causing so much blood to be spilled, after the beat he knew this was all wrong. The rabbit was who nudged him in the direction of that idea. You're also making no sense in terms of no background. These people don't need backgrounds unless they are unique in some way. "fish-head guy" as you put it is not in search of revenge, he's gone mad. The vision(purple rabbit) says himself that he tried to find a cure for him but countless times he failed in doing so. But there is no real reason for background of people who were chosen to be jailers. Oh and the song thing. You're stupid for even considering that as an ending. It's just a choice

The only thing I didn't like about The Song ending is that they put the best song of the game at the credits, and pretty much spoil the impact that the track would have when you kill all the Guardians and discover why they were locking you up. Other than that, it is the second best ending XD.

The Song is the same voice actor as The Star. There's this one line The Star said that I knew for sure it was The Song. I checked and they were the same.
Once you practice and know all phases, this game will be 1/10 difficulty (just like dark souls) but for furier it won't be that easy I would give that a 7/10 as it's 50% skill 50% luck
I love when I tell people dark souls is easy and they freak the fuck out. As for Furi unfortunately this isn't my first bullet hell that is craftfully wrapped with some action melee combat. From a design perspective I'd give this game very close to an A.
dark souls is easy only because you know where the heck is everything at, also if you are great at parrying there, for me they trashed me so bad for using magic so I used a hammer and they still trashed talk :S
It would have been even cooler if after the invasion ending you had to fight Rabbit man came after you as the true final boss of that ending. And give him two swords like Kuma. Yeah. That would have been cool as hell
I really like this twist but a lot of people dont seem to understand it.People keep saying bunny saved the world but actually bunnyman is pretty selfish, he just wants to see his family again at the cost of letting the RIder go and killing the other Jailers. The Rider is not just another soldier if he could be so easily replaced it doesnt make sense why he has been locked up for a millennia. (IE he would have been replaced already). Theres also some naming conventions and Biblical implications that suggest its a semi 4 horseman of the apocalypse reference (meaning there are likely only 4 riders and the other 3 are probably with other mother ships) Bunny was definatlely happy about the Rider growing a conscience and definitely HOPED he would save the world but its apparent seeing his daughter again even if it ment possibly her and only seeing her one last time was his main priority. Still he is good to a degree in his own strange way. (if you want some proof of biblical implications the soundtrack has multiple tracks all titled simply "Danger" with differing number sequences on them like 19:07 which remind me of how parts of the bible are labled. I am, admittedly, not well versed in it however so please only take this as a guess I could be totally wrong. But it does make sense as to why another Rider has not simply taken the stranger's place after being locked up for, implied, generations. And with the Star telling you that there are other mother ships so you have only delayed the invasion not stopped it. As well as why the Rider kills and corrupts everything he get's close to.)
I can't let you believe that Danger's song titles are a reference to any biblical text, so I'll tell you the 'trick'. From Wikipedia : Danger's tracks are named after the time of the day when the track was finished
so supposedly, bunny was one of the jailer ( and the architech as well) and you might be thinking "why is he helping get out" well. maybe he thought "even though hes dangerous, there might be some good in him" and he thought if he lets you out, you woudn't destroy the planet
Maybe the bunny feared that he would get killed by one of the other jailers and going with a dangerous person like the main character would ensure his escape.
The bunny didn't want to stay there for eternity, he wanted to be back with his family. We know all the guardians were there for eternity to help protect the Earth, and since the Bunny was the architect, he needed to stay as well. Everyone you fought and encountered was a prisoner, by choice or not. I'm thinking he really didn't want that anymore

I beat this game today on the normal setting (whatever the more difficult one is before furier) Got the best ending! That was tough. (Played this one Switch btw, mostly in handheld mode). Can't say how it compares to other consoles but I thought it was great.
Are we sure the planet is even earth? When we are in space it does not look like earth at all. And the way the bosses talk about forever and eternity makes me feel that these people live a lot longer than humans. Fact that Rider was locked up for a long time, apparently, but when we see the Voices daughter she is still a child. How could she be a kid for so long? And is Rider immortal or just has intense healing. I feel like the Star would send another one if a Rider were to die so they must be near impossible to kill. If Rider stayed locked up long enough would the invasion happen anyway? And what is rider exactly. I was always curious as well as to what happens when Rider first lands on the planet. Just how much shit did he fuck up before getting caught like damn. Did any of the guardians know about the mothership? The voice clearly does, maybe the line too, I don't think the others now though just how screwed they are if Rider gets out. Also what is the point of this Invasion, a new home or something? I liked this game but I hate when I am left with so many questions.
When Rider came to Earth, time stopped and time doesn't run in the jail (The Line mentions this.) Rider has such intense headline that he is seen as immortal (The voice talks about it right before the Hand fight) and he's basically an android (Shown that theres more of him before talking to the Star). and the point of the invasion is for resources. (I know this comment is 2 years old but fuck it.)
Omg, i watched through the credits in hopes it would let start the game from last checkpoint or something. Now the file just reset. Fuck, this sucks.. why would they include an ending that skips half the game?!

In the perspective of the character he'd probably do the invasion, he showed up to attack the planet got locked up by its residents and fought his way out to complete his mission can't see a reason why he would attack his mothership. That makes it suck a lot for me because I'm stuck on which to chose, an ending true to the character or one with a extra boss and be a hero plus helping your bunny pal
well, there's kind of a good reason why he'd attack The Star (the mothership). If you listen carefully to the monologues that the Architect (bunny) does while you're travelling from A to B, he sprinkles in a bit of humanity and emotion. I think the Rider (your character) saw the devotion that the Architect had to his daughter, it changed his perception a bit. I think a good deal of emotion rubbed off on the Rider, which is why it's an equally viable option to F*ck up the Star. Heck, the star even says "they thought you corrupted the planet, but they corrupted you." What else could it mean?
+dylanius aurelius I think seeing the devotion of ALL the guardians changed him, especially the 6th and 10th. he hesitated on killing 6 (the song) and she piqued his morals by asking things like if all the killing he was doing was worth it and such. I know the 10th (the beat), is where I fuckin lost it because of how hopeful she was and how we just slaughtered her on the spot. I felt so guilty after the "hold my hand" quote. but yes, the voice (7th) and his daughter was definitely one of the driving points
I think there are several good reasons the character would choose that ending. even the voice says "I thought I could change you, and I think I did" and also "what you do next is your choice." if you die in the star fight he even says "this is a fight between you and your conscience, you know who should win this fight". read my other reply to dylanius for more of my thoughts
Phoenix1220 I actually had a conversation with a buddy of mine as to which ending we would choose. Basically it comes down to this: Be a hero, Have infinite power, Have eternal love. My buddy chose the most latter; love. for him, the thought of being alone just isn't an option. I'd go for being a hero. I can't accept love at the cost of someone else's, and I wouldn't want that kind of power, because: A, it corrupts, B, it's lonely at the top, C, who's gonna remember you? or for that matter, who's gonna remember you in a positive way? Being a hero, you make a name for yourself, you have gratitude, no matter how small, and it gives you that good feeling.
+dylanius aurelius except, the star states this, "no one will know what you did, they don't even know we exist". I think the only one who knew about the starship was the voice. also, I think its more than just infinite power. the starship was his hone and where he was created. they needed to assimilate the earth to stay alive, so its basically choosing salvation for your characters race, or salvation for earth and all its people. another quote is "why is their world more valuable than ours?" which is pretty profound and comes from the star AND the voice, who was trying to convince you of what to do the entire time.
When I got to the last sequence, I realized that she wouldn't attack me. When I got her to attack me by attacking her, I let her attack me but the hits wouldn't damage me.
Your character is some sort of alien/robot sent as a scout from the mothership to scout Earth for invasion. For some reason you corrupt everything you touch, which led to you being captured and put in a space prison. The rabbit guy is the builder of the prison, and he designed it so that the only way to get out would be to kill all of the guardians. For whatever reason though, he got trapped in the prison along with everyone else, and is desperate to see his daughter, as he knows the invasion is coming. Completely desperate, the architect releases you from prison and you fight your way back to Earth to grab your mech and fly back to the mothership. However, having been forced to kill all of the guardians, some who really didn't deserve it, made your character develop a conscious. In the end you can ignore your newfound empathy and greenlight the invasion or you can turn against the mothership and destroy it to protect humanity.
Jackson Danley to prevent him from getting to the planet below and returning to his ship to call down the invasion force. The Voice let him out as a mad gamble, hoping that the journey to escape would change him and lead him to challenge the Star (the mothership). As for what Furi means, no idea. But the name of the bunny man is the Voice, not Furi.
I love the Invasion Ending. The feeling of dread and awe I got when I saw the army of Riders descending upon the Earth like the apocalypse. Great stuff
wow that Mother Ship boss is one of the hardest bosses I've ever felt in my life still can't beat either, this is an amazing game but the last boss (mothership boss) takes a shit all over the difficulty level of all the Dark Soul games combine and does a 50 hit combo on them I don't see how people passed the Mothership battle at all really.

I beat it by using the charged beam shot but there are parts where you should just dodge. Don't bother taking out the drowns and aim for the hands even when they're below the platform. I beat it on my second go. If you shoot the hands only the boss will use that beam attack once. Hope i helped.

For me Voice was really irresponsible. He gambled that you after getting out would destroy entire Mothership with your brothers, your superior and most likely a fu.. ton of more, while at the same time most likely dooming Your planet for the humans and their planet which you barely know. Even if you save them, no one would really know or believe you and you would be still feared and hated especially with that whole ,,Everything is dying around me" case... Yeah in normal circumstances Voice would have simply destroyed a planet.
The Voice did say "I want to be free, I want to live again, even if I die a minute later " when the Song is asking you to stay with her, he really wanted to see his daughter again, couldn't endure living an eternity without seeing her.
Federico Casali and because of that he would rather his daughter very likely die directly from his actions. The Voice is lucky if the Stranger saves the planet, but frankly, he put his own emotional needs before that of everything, including The Hand and his daughter. He's either insane or evil.
he went insane being trapped in the prison and having to leave his daughter alone, like he said, he'd rather a minute of freedom before he dies than an eternity in the prison, he has nothing to lose, when The Rider shows hesitation and small glimpses of mercy, it even surprises The Voice because he starts thinking that he might not go through with the invasion, either way, The Voice gets what he wants, hopefully he spends a long life with his daughter, rather than just a minute until total destruction
basically you're a prisoner in this massive prison. you break out and kill all the jailers with one of the jailers helping you. at the end it turns out that you literally ruin everything around you (rot wood, kill plants, etc) just by existing. the jailer that helped you only let you out so you could help him escape so he could see his daughter again. then you find the space suit and fly up to the mother ship, the place where the main character was created. the rest is in the endings. destroy earth or destroy your home
I have - I'm working my way through unlocking all the concept art now. That said, no one tells you about dash-charging, or powering up your blade, or how the walk-choice before the Song works (which can end your game prematurely). Let's not pretend those are handled well.

I think all three endings are pretty cheap. Ending 1 you stay with the Song. Okay, so YOU don't start the invasion, but it's pretty clear one will happen either way according to Ending 3. Ending 2 you invade, the planet dies, you're the bad guy. Ending 3 you rebel, defeat one ship, and get straight told: "There's going to be another one, and no one will stop that one." So, no matter what the planet is right fucked. Out of all three endings, 1 is the BEST. The planet gets to live until the ship sends another Rider, you get to live, maybe have sex for the first time, Rider could have a whole life up there before anything changes. And if he doesn't, well maybe you stop the invasion after it launches. Your choices are literally: Have life, kill all life, die saving lives.

Thats just a product of not understanding the language the voice acting is pretty bad with all the VO's. I know the English and French are so Im 100% certain voice over was low on the list of priorities and budget. (At least they got Bunny man a pretty decent VO since he's 80% of the dialogue)

Warriors around the world were selected to be Guardians and protect the planet in case the Rider escaped. The Rabbit was chosen against his will, he wanted to see hi daughter again so freed the Rider. Thats why in one of the phases of the game he says he already took care of the boss.
So, in one ending the rabbit gets to see his daughter again but his world is distroyed. In other ending the rider realices that the rabbit wanted to see his daugther (cause I dont see another reason for him to save the planet) and destroys the mother ship.
And in the 3rd ending the rabbit never sees his daugther again and you ge to bang the Song for eternity :D
ye much is true but i think bunny was a prisoner as well not a guard i think bunny knew about the Invasion so he made a plan which doesent works (story) then he made another plan with setting the rider free so he could get out by telling the story the bunny expexts to bring the rider to the descision to destroy the mother ship and save the planet thats what I believe youre hypothesis seems to be right maybe (sorry for my Bad english im german ;D)

Seems clear to me that The Voice knew exactly what you were. He also was not risking your release only to be free to see his daughter, but save her and the planet from possible destruction. He must have figured out how your mothership, species, ect, operates. Why else would he have gotten locked up? He wanted to free you because he knew you were the only one who could stop the imminent invasion that you were a part of. We see the Voice mention that The Line had figured out your origins to some extent, and so obviously, the Line had shared that info with him, as for specifics, though, I am not sure how much the Line told of and how much the Voice figured out on his own. The Song had The Voice locked up himself out of her "self righteousness" and "arrogance", even though her intentions were good, she simply refused to take part in allowing the Voice to attempt his plan. Also, look at the way The Voice was priming you the entire game about how great planet Earth is, hoping to convince you of that while maintaining that the Guardians are evil (when he knows that their purpose is to protect the Earth no matter the cost) so that you will fight on until you are out of the prison. Also, recall how upon killing The Song, The Voice "likes" your hesitation. "It gives him hope." His goal was to get you out, but equally, to change you so that you would make the "right choice" (the good ending.) Seems he knew you would have to make that very decision. Why else would he have freed you, given what we already know? Almost all dialogue supports it in hindsight. Somehow he knew everything.

There are some Triple A games with less story than Furi, though to be fair Furi has one of the best storylines ever.
Honestly, the storyline is fine, but the character development is non existent xDD. I mean, the only one with some kind of a development is the main character if you choose to, and it the typical "oh look, the no emotions character suddenly has compassion". Plus, if you decide to do the right thing and stay with The Song then the game ends and you're explained literally nothing about the plot. Even when you finish it, you're not even close to being told things about the characters. The bosses end up being interesting design with no background. They're just representations of a single basic idea ("revenge" on the fish-head guy, "improvement" from the samurai, "challenge" from the techno girl...) and little more, which makes the story lack a lot of content imo

It made sense to him that earth should be destroyed for their race to live on, but he knew that doing so would cause more and more planets to be consumed, he always knew this, but was alright with it. Till he saw earth, which was i assume one of the few planets he saw that had sentient life. Going through so many people and causing so much blood to be spilled, after the beat he knew this was all wrong. The rabbit was who nudged him in the direction of that idea. You're also making no sense in terms of no background. These people don't need backgrounds unless they are unique in some way. "fish-head guy" as you put it is not in search of revenge, he's gone mad. The vision(purple rabbit) says himself that he tried to find a cure for him but countless times he failed in doing so. But there is no real reason for background of people who were chosen to be jailers.
Oh and the song thing. You're stupid for even considering that as an ending. It's just a choice

The only thing I didn't like about The Song ending is that they put the best song of the game at the credits, and pretty much spoil the impact that the track would have when you kill all the Guardians and discover why they were locking you up. Other than that, it is the second best ending XD.

Once you practice and know all phases, this game will be 1/10 difficulty (just like dark souls) but for furier it won't be that easy I would give that a 7/10 as it's 50% skill 50% luck

I love when I tell people dark souls is easy and they freak the fuck out. As for Furi unfortunately this isn't my first bullet hell that is craftfully wrapped with some action melee combat. From a design perspective I'd give this game very close to an A.

I really like this twist but a lot of people dont seem to understand it.People keep saying bunny saved the world but actually bunnyman is pretty selfish, he just wants to see his family again at the cost of letting the RIder go and killing the other Jailers. The Rider is not just another soldier if he could be so easily replaced it doesnt make sense why he has been locked up for a millennia. (IE he would have been replaced already).
Theres also some naming conventions and Biblical implications that suggest its a semi 4 horseman of the apocalypse reference (meaning there are likely only 4 riders and the other 3 are probably with other mother ships)
Bunny was definatlely happy about the Rider growing a conscience and definitely HOPED he would save the world but its apparent seeing his daughter again even if it ment possibly her and only seeing her one last time was his main priority. Still he is good to a degree in his own strange way.
(if you want some proof of biblical implications the soundtrack has multiple tracks all titled simply "Danger" with differing number sequences on them like 19:07 which remind me of how parts of the bible are labled. I am, admittedly, not well versed in it however so please only take this as a guess I could be totally wrong. But it does make sense as to why another Rider has not simply taken the stranger's place after being locked up for, implied, generations. And with the Star telling you that there are other mother ships so you have only delayed the invasion not stopped it. As well as why the Rider kills and corrupts everything he get's close to.)

so supposedly, bunny was one of the jailer ( and the architech as well) and you might be thinking "why is he helping get out" well. maybe he thought "even though hes dangerous, there might be some good in him" and he thought if he lets you out, you woudn't destroy the planet

Maybe the bunny feared that he would get killed by one of the other jailers and going with a dangerous person like the main character would ensure his escape.
The bunny didn't want to stay there for eternity, he wanted to be back with his family. We know all the guardians were there for eternity to help protect the Earth, and since the Bunny was the architect, he needed to stay as well. Everyone you fought and encountered was a prisoner, by choice or not. I'm thinking he really didn't want that anymore

I beat this game today on the normal setting (whatever the more difficult one is before furier) Got the best ending! That was tough. (Played this one Switch btw, mostly in handheld mode). Can't say how it compares to other consoles but I thought it was great.

Are we sure the planet is even earth? When we are in space it does not look like earth at all. And the way the bosses talk about forever and eternity makes me feel that these people live a lot longer than humans. Fact that Rider was locked up for a long time, apparently, but when we see the Voices daughter she is still a child. How could she be a kid for so long? And is Rider immortal or just has intense healing. I feel like the Star would send another one if a Rider were to die so they must be near impossible to kill. If Rider stayed locked up long enough would the invasion happen anyway? And what is rider exactly. I was always curious as well as to what happens when Rider first lands on the planet. Just how much shit did he fuck up before getting caught like damn. Did any of the guardians know about the mothership? The voice clearly does, maybe the line too, I don't think the others now though just how screwed they are if Rider gets out. Also what is the point of this Invasion, a new home or something? I liked this game but I hate when I am left with so many questions.
When Rider came to Earth, time stopped and time doesn't run in the jail (The Line mentions this.) Rider has such intense headline that he is seen as immortal (The voice talks about it right before the Hand fight) and he's basically an android (Shown that theres more of him before talking to the Star). and the point of the invasion is for resources. (I know this comment is 2 years old but fuck it.)

In the perspective of the character he'd probably do the invasion, he showed up to attack the planet got locked up by its residents and fought his way out to complete his mission can't see a reason why he would attack his mothership.
That makes it suck a lot for me because I'm stuck on which to chose, an ending true to the character or one with a extra boss and be a hero plus helping your bunny pal
well, there's kind of a good reason why he'd attack The Star (the mothership). If you listen carefully to the monologues that the Architect (bunny) does while you're travelling from A to B, he sprinkles in a bit of humanity and emotion. I think the Rider (your character) saw the devotion that the Architect had to his daughter, it changed his perception a bit. I think a good deal of emotion rubbed off on the Rider, which is why it's an equally viable option to F*ck up the Star. Heck, the star even says "they thought you corrupted the planet, but they corrupted you." What else could it mean?
+dylanius aurelius I think seeing the devotion of ALL the guardians changed him, especially the 6th and 10th. he hesitated on killing 6 (the song) and she piqued his morals by asking things like if all the killing he was doing was worth it and such. I know the 10th (the beat), is where I fuckin lost it because of how hopeful she was and how we just slaughtered her on the spot. I felt so guilty after the "hold my hand" quote. but yes, the voice (7th) and his daughter was definitely one of the driving points
I think there are several good reasons the character would choose that ending. even the voice says "I thought I could change you, and I think I did" and also "what you do next is your choice." if you die in the star fight he even says "this is a fight between you and your conscience, you know who should win this fight". read my other reply to dylanius for more of my thoughts

Basically it comes down to this:
Be a hero,
Have infinite power,
Have eternal love.
My buddy chose the most latter; love. for him, the thought of being alone just isn't an option.
I'd go for being a hero. I can't accept love at the cost of someone else's, and I wouldn't want that kind of power, because:
A, it corrupts,
B, it's lonely at the top,
C, who's gonna remember you? or for that matter, who's gonna remember you in a positive way?
Being a hero, you make a name for yourself, you have gratitude, no matter how small, and it gives you that good feeling.
+dylanius aurelius except, the star states this, "no one will know what you did, they don't even know we exist". I think the only one who knew about the starship was the voice. also, I think its more than just infinite power. the starship was his hone and where he was created. they needed to assimilate the earth to stay alive, so its basically choosing salvation for your characters race, or salvation for earth and all its people. another quote is "why is their world more valuable than ours?" which is pretty profound and comes from the star AND the voice, who was trying to convince you of what to do the entire time.
so what if you don't kill the 9th boss at the end of the fight? or you suppose to kill her in order to progress?

When I got to the last sequence, I realized that she wouldn't attack me. When I got her to attack me by attacking her, I let her attack me but the hits wouldn't damage me.

Can anyone give me an detailed explanation of this games story? I kinda get it but not all that much, btw I'm on the final boss
Your character is some sort of alien/robot sent as a scout from the mothership to scout Earth for invasion. For some reason you corrupt everything you touch, which led to you being captured and put in a space prison. The rabbit guy is the builder of the prison, and he designed it so that the only way to get out would be to kill all of the guardians. For whatever reason though, he got trapped in the prison along with everyone else, and is desperate to see his daughter, as he knows the invasion is coming. Completely desperate, the architect releases you from prison and you fight your way back to Earth to grab your mech and fly back to the mothership. However, having been forced to kill all of the guardians, some who really didn't deserve it, made your character develop a conscious. In the end you can ignore your newfound empathy and greenlight the invasion or you can turn against the mothership and destroy it to protect humanity.
Or just bang Merc-I mean Song until the mothership decides to send another rider to scout and later confirm the invasion.
So... why did they lock up the main character? Also, what is “Furi”, is that the bunny man
Jackson Danley to prevent him from getting to the planet below and returning to his ship to call down the invasion force. The Voice let him out as a mad gamble, hoping that the journey to escape would change him and lead him to challenge the Star (the mothership).
As for what Furi means, no idea. But the name of the bunny man is the Voice, not Furi.
I love the Invasion Ending. The feeling of dread and awe I got when I saw the army of Riders descending upon the Earth like the apocalypse. Great stuff

wow that Mother Ship boss is one of the hardest bosses I've ever felt in my life still can't beat either, this is an amazing game but the last boss (mothership boss) takes a shit all over the difficulty level of all the Dark Soul games combine and does a 50 hit combo on them I don't see how people passed the Mothership battle at all really.

it really helps to take out one of the drones before the laser portions . and always charged shot
I beat it by using the charged beam shot but there are parts where you should just dodge. Don't bother taking out the drowns and aim for the hands even when they're below the platform. I beat it on my second go. If you shoot the hands only the boss will use that beam attack once. Hope i helped.
Once you beat one souls game the other ones are pretty damn easy. This on the other hand...

For me Voice was really irresponsible. He gambled that you after getting out would destroy entire Mothership with your brothers, your superior and most likely a fu.. ton of more, while at the same time most likely dooming Your planet for the humans and their planet which you barely know. Even if you save them, no one would really know or believe you and you would be still feared and hated especially with that whole ,,Everything is dying around me" case... Yeah in normal circumstances Voice would have simply destroyed a planet.
The Voice did say "I want to be free, I want to live again, even if I die a minute later " when the Song is asking you to stay with her, he really wanted to see his daughter again, couldn't endure living an eternity without seeing her.
Federico Casali and because of that he would rather his daughter very likely die directly from his actions. The Voice is lucky if the Stranger saves the planet, but frankly, he put his own emotional needs before that of everything, including The Hand and his daughter. He's either insane or evil.
he went insane being trapped in the prison and having to leave his daughter alone, like he said, he'd rather a minute of freedom before he dies than an eternity in the prison, he has nothing to lose, when The Rider shows hesitation and small glimpses of mercy, it even surprises The Voice because he starts thinking that he might not go through with the invasion, either way, The Voice gets what he wants, hopefully he spends a long life with his daughter, rather than just a minute until total destruction

What's the story, I don't understand what happens at all...
basically you're a prisoner in this massive prison. you break out and kill all the jailers with one of the jailers helping you. at the end it turns out that you literally ruin everything around you (rot wood, kill plants, etc) just by existing. the jailer that helped you only let you out so you could help him escape so he could see his daughter again. then you find the space suit and fly up to the mother ship, the place where the main character was created. the rest is in the endings. destroy earth or destroy your home

I have - I'm working my way through unlocking all the concept art now. That said, no one tells you about dash-charging, or powering up your blade, or how the walk-choice before the Song works (which can end your game prematurely). Let's not pretend those are handled well.

Rebellion all the way
I think all three endings are pretty cheap. Ending 1 you stay with the Song. Okay, so YOU don't start the invasion, but it's pretty clear one will happen either way according to Ending 3. Ending 2 you invade, the planet dies, you're the bad guy. Ending 3 you rebel, defeat one ship, and get straight told: "There's going to be another one, and no one will stop that one."
So, no matter what the planet is right fucked. Out of all three endings, 1 is the BEST. The planet gets to live until the ship sends another Rider, you get to live, maybe have sex for the first time, Rider could have a whole life up there before anything changes. And if he doesn't, well maybe you stop the invasion after it launches. Your choices are literally: Have life, kill all life, die saving lives.

Thats just a product of not understanding the language the voice acting is pretty bad with all the VO's. I know the English and French are so Im 100% certain voice over was low on the list of priorities and budget. (At least they got Bunny man a pretty decent VO since he's 80% of the dialogue)
