It’s sad honestly, Everything the bosses were saying was true. The Rider scorches everything in a close vicinity to him just by walking. By either the overwhelming amount of power he’s toting around or some kind of radiation he’s emitting.
The sad thing is that the Voice genuinely didn’t want to free you; he looked for many different solutions where no one had to die but none of them worked.
Maybe I'm just optimistic, but I like to imagine that it's a sort of symbolism. Since it's called the Free World, maybe because The Stranger/The Rider isn't truly free, and is still tied to The Star, that has a corruptive effect on the Free World. And only by destroying The Star can he end that corruption. I'm probably wrong, but there's nothing to inherently contradict it either afaik.
If you look at the cutscene, you'll notice that there's a patch of grass between him and the voice. And then shortly he's on the beach, and no grass separates them. I think the developers simply teleported your character twice, and the corruption after the cut scene ended remains.
Hate how I missed this because I ran up to the tower beforehand and the game decided to take me to the next level with the flame without the chance of going back
The Afro Samurai artist definitely has an interesting style though did the little girl ALSO have to have a stuffed animal of the animal on his head. I feel like he's relying a little too much on certain aesthetics repeating. Just a little.
Because he is harmful to anything that live. That's why they confined him, and why people of his kind are always looking for new planets to "consume". ;)

I think that is a metaphor for the destruction that your character inflicts on other and therefore the world

Did anyone else keep thinking this was Mark Hamill every time they heard him talk? Even after I knew it wasn't, I couldn't shake it.
