Well, not quite. Rickles was born in 1926, so he wouldn't turn 84 until 2010.
greatest comedian of all time, rest in peace. thank you for all the laughs
OLÉ! Awesome matador entrance, then he destroyed Leno at 10:00 “here’s your whole act, he he he...”
I wish I could have seen Rickles in person, damn he was GREAT!!!!
When I watch Leno it reminds me of just how good Johnny was. Johnny could keep up with Rickles, and it was fun to watch the two of them spar. Leno was not in their league and Don knew it. Letterman worked good with Rickles as well.
A clown vs a legend. Hey Jay, get your shinebox!
The one that Rickles left at Jays mansion.
Jay is a great standup
Jay has a lot of nice toys
Jay never had the makings of a varsity comedian
FU. AI!
For those that have never witnessed a roast? Dean Martin's laugh roasted by the Rickles, was priceless.
One of a kind if there ever was one. A legend. He has no equal.
I am 58 years old & to this day I can watch Don Rickles at any time & LMAO. Loved that hockey puck😂
Rest In Peace Don,thank you for all the laughing years of entertainment!
Had a perpetual smile from beginning to end. This was an absolute riot.
"You look like a queer lighthouse" holy shit, how'd he come up with that
It’s funny how Jay can’t keep up with the legendary Rickles.
yeah like the chocolate factory thing that made no sense
We were better off not being politically correct. Don was brilliant.
Newhart said "Where's my telephone, where's my telephone?".... the audience didn't get that one either. Lot's of Don's rapid-fire jokes went unnoticed and unappreciated. RIP Mr. Warmth!
Yeah, that crowd was mostly too young to remember Newhart's classic stand-up telephone routines.
First thing's first I love Don's comedy, I noticed how the audience reacted to his racist jokes go back to his heyday and audiences were dying laughing big change.
They don't make fast-thinking brains like Don Rickles anymore. You have to go along with him or get roasted.
He attacked the host, band, crew, and every race, "non-Jewish" religion, mental disability, and socially awkward behavior of anyone in attendance.
His description of Jay Leno's nervous mannerisms on air as acting like a "queer lighthouse" was perfect. He even made fun of the younger generation for wearing condoms.
The man was a beast, legend, and immune to heckling or getting cancelled. I wish I had the chance to witness him perform in person.
I never thought Don Rickles and Jay Leno had good chemistry, when he was on Johnny Carson and David Letterman it was golden tv
is there anyone who can ever come close to matching rickles in the quick quips ...?! ... he absolutely shreds
Yeah, me, you broken doorbell.... ding dong! anybody home??
Craig ferguson I say
@@sashankbalaji6588 he didn't know where he was when Rickles was his guest
"Wheres my little hat"
greatest thing ive ever heard
At his age
To be as fast and brutal
Don really was in a class of his own
Well, "his age" wasn't really 85, either. He was born in 1926, so he wouldn't turn 85 until 2011.
The audience was lame. They just didn't seem to understand Don.
lame crowd...he was on fire!!!
With political correctness nobody is happy, and they can't stand it when others are. It's a depression I tell ya.
yes.
Van PastorMan it's called whimpification and pussification. Anything past why the chicken cross the road today's delicate flower population explode. Although now that I think about it, they will cry abuse of animals. Forget it.
I'm glad I didn't grow up with this political correctness generation(s). They don't understand when a joke is truly a joke. I wish Don Rickles were still alive today just to watch him entertain again. God Bless his soul.
My biggest regret was never seen Mr warmth live. I had a chance to see him a few years before his death but I had an issue with work I totally regret not seeing him live. The man is comedy gold
One of the funniest comedians EVER😂😂😂
I have watched a lot of Rickles and have never seen him so wound up.
People who say this is racism clearly don't know the definition of racism. Is it offensive to some people? Yes, so watch something that doesn't offend you. The KKK is racist, Neo- Nazis are racist. Don Rickles wasn't racist, he is a comedian making fun of stereotypes.
Thankyou Mr Warmth for getting us thru this Pandemic 😉
His part in Dirty Work as the manager was one of the best!
Thats what you gut for keeping Don in the Green room for so LONG!!! :D
