i own many rc , arma kraton exb, to xmaxx and by far the kronos is the best , the smoothest drive drain yet. its truly geared for 4s on 6s it needs to be geared up some . people can say what they want ,, i love all rc but find it kinda odd ive spent hundreds on kratons , xmaxx almost instantly on repairs, but my kronos xtr 7 months 1 turnbuckle has broke , zero diff issue's and i run them all the same .they all break but the xtr roller has been my most solid rc . now lets see if it last as long as my kyosho optima turbos from 1985 , been in this hobby since 1974. and yes if it holds up like the hpi savage 25 (nitro) own 6, you will truly enjoy the hobby . they all break when beat but the xtr is a solid top notch purchase with the most solid drive train out there . rip on by and coast and you hear nothing but smooth no gear noise just coast by with tire noise. and i crack up listening to all these pinions grinding noises on most rc's guys learn how to set your pinion gears you should hear all of that friction. but hey buy all the pinions you want. and yes im about to get the g2 just wish it came in a 1900kv 2200 is a little much for the gear set up on the xtr .

Ya thats what im thinking. I think this one should be better as it comes with a center brace of the chassis and adjustable stearing arms. All this fancy stuff but a small front bumper ! booo ! it needs a good bumper like the arrma talion exb or the hpi savage xl bumper is great.
Another shootout, looking forward to this too. The XTR is a beast but throw thicker fluid in the center. I threw 1M in the center and the front end is much more controllable. I like that power system you are running👍 I have the Max 6 with the Corally motor but I keep it on 6S.
Yea I'm a arrma guy but I agree these are going be tighter better performance but not as durable as a arrma especially a Traxxas which both rubbery durability comes at a cost
Im thinking of getting a arrma talion exb 6s or a team corally kronos xtr. I never liked the other kronos because it never had the center support brace and no adjustable stearing rods. just plasitc ones that you could not set. plus i heard there was lots of durablity problems with them like the muraco and gunshow

What color did you paint the body ? looks like gun metal or bright gun metal perhaps.

Looks great with your grey paint job. I wonder how easy it is to get spares in the US? In Europe it’s really hard getting spares for these.
The Max 8G2 is an absolute Beast . Have you tried turning up the timing?
I have a skeeter the components are the same converted it to 6s. The best ang fairly priced rc.
