It rings with what we humans feel as emotions. Nevertheless, well done.
I know this has been out nearly 3 years but I have to say one thing that I still love about this video is that you very clearly understand the triforce of courage. Most people misunderstand it entirely as "He is not afraid" or "He has no fear" No Link still has fear, he has plenty of it, you can see surprise and fear at several points in the games, no what the triforce of courage is about is that it doesn't matter how scared he is, how afraid he is, he will stand and fight when he is needed, he will have the courage to act through the fear to save hyrule. Courage is not the absence of fear, it is acting in spite of it.
"Courage cannot erase or fears; courage is when we face our fears." One of the best lines from the musical "Newsies," and a brilliant way to explain what courage actually is.
People think that showing fear means you're a "pussy" Honestly, showing fear is natural to all humans. I don't understand why showing fear is considered bad or a terrible thing.

@@pastykake897 The reason why that qualified was because link was using his other hand to keep himself supported. Once he took the risk used both to pull him up with the possibility of falling off himself, that's why it came out
What if Keaton was actually that guard from oot's son? He had a keaton mask (if he ever gave it to him lol) because think about it; his dad was a guard, gave him the mask, heard about Link, and wanted to be like him
Psycho Kishin that’s what I was thinking, but here’s the issue with that: why would Link be so scared? He risked his life all through OoT and Majora’s Mask, so Zelda saying “this is your first mission risking your life,” would be wrong. I think this is a different Link entirely, at a different point in the timeline post-OoT. But perhaps Keaton is a descendant of that guard, and grew up hearing legends of the hero of time
@@allthatisandeverwas Woah! Good points! So much to consider. 🤔 If Keaton were a previously unknown character, why wear a mask? Not too many red heads in the game...Ganon, Malon, ... the happy mask salesman?!? 😲 Naw, couldn't be. 🤔

The music was amazing! I loved how you reimagined some of the themes to make them fit the moment. And the huge orchestra in the last few scenes really sold the emotion. As someone who geeks out over soundtracks, this made me really happy. :)
The music was absolutely beautiful, as was the entire movie (I call it a movie because it was that amazing). Your music truly combined all the elements and fit perfectly.
That was absolutely beautiful. The expressions, the body language, the animation and the story were amazing!! In just 20 minutes you have introduced endearing and likable characters. Keaton wormed his way into our hearts. It's amazing how you squeezed in such an amazing character development for Link in just a short amount of time. I love this. The only flaw I see is the walking animation, it looks awkward and like they can't hold their weight and ends up dragging their feet, although compared to your past walking animation, the current one is definitely better. And oh, the occasional typo, but that's okay. All in all, your animation has greatly improved! And the fighting scene, I've been watching it over and over again, a testament to how amazing it was. Keep up the great work! You're an amazing story teller.
@@macwallace6854 Two years without your question being answered... Well, I stumbled across this comment after my first time watching this video (today), and this just made me rewatch it - turning on the spelling/grammar/punctuation police in me. The grammar is in check. There is more than one case of missed commas... And two misspelled words: "association" (intro credits) and "interrupting" (Zelda's startup dialogue). "Honour" is not a typo on account of the word "honor" having two valid spellings, as a small handful of words in the English language do.
It's been quite the terrible day and I've been feeling terrible. But the minute I opened TH-cam, this was the first video on my home page and I'm beyond happy that I clicked it. Honestly this video was a joyride from start to finish. I love the comedic touches (Epona standing at attention at Zelda made me lose all my cool) were absolutely perfect. Also, I love the idea of Link being actually terrified of what is to come in the beginning of his journeys. Throughout every game, he pretty much dives head first into the danger. We never see him with true human fear in the beginning of his journey. The idea of killing monsters isn't something you really think you're going to be doing in your life, it's a scary thought. Overall, the emotion and flow of the story is incredibly well done. Excellent work as always! You truly made my day, thank you. 💙
Here is a theory: Keaton is a male garudo. Silly, I know. But think about it. People know males of the female tribe to be Ganon or something similar. So the mask makes sense.
You can feel these emotions these two go through from body language alone. Yes Link may have the Triforce of courage but he’s still human. He has emotion. He has fears. He has a heart... Even the best of us can be scared off... I have social anxiety but I find so much work and emotion into so many things!!! This being one of many beautiful examples like this.
OBVIOUSLY Keaton is none other Roy our boy. The bright red gives it away. The true swordsman hero. That aside, WONDERFUL animation as always! I love seeing what you produce and I can't wait to see your next project!
My sister shared this to me and I'm happy she did! I always love how fans interpret Link in different ways and I love seeing he become more alive in animations like this! SFM makes these things even better in my opinion. The thumbs up and fist bumping was so cute. 😂 The way you animated Epona was suoer great too, she seemed to have more connection to Link..! Amazing work!! I'd love to see more!
Keaton later told this story to its children, proudly showing the mask Link later return to him. One of the children found the story so inspirational, that it filled him with happines The child later went on many adventures, while bringing happines to the world by selling the masks of heroes and telling their stories.
This video was so good! I love the way you made it feel like an actual Zelda game with the dialogue boxes, the expressions on the characters faces and the movements I was interested the whole way through! I also love how you made link feel real with how scared he was, link is always portrayed as the hero who never fears and you knocked that trope right outta the park! Keep up the great work and I can't wait for more original work!
I find it rather interesting that this animation almost reenacts one of my many vivid dreams. In each one I start out as an ordinary person trying to get by in the world starting to fall to some hidden darkness. The urge to protect loved ones seems to stir some hidden power as the master sword magically appears in my hand from time to time to defend them. In some of the dreams its like I can feel my body slowly changing over time, one dream I was looking in a mirror a bit shocked my ears had grown longer, though aware that after the years of playing video games I came to realize what was happening. Honestly no clue how these dreams come about in such detail. I have always had an over active imagination. Unfortunately, I never get to find out how the stories end. A few times I remember feeling so sleepy while watching the triforce appear on my hand seeming like a birth mark or a bad burn at first. Guess my subconscious really wants to be a hero and save the day lol. Love getting adventurous dreams where I feel important and that I have to do something for the good of all people no matter how hard and grueling the task may be. Though seems much more simpler to accomplish in the world of Zelda than the real world I would think. Anyways great video. Totally subbed.
I gotta be honest i just keep laughing at zelda's face at the end!!! she looks so mad there! ahahahah im sorrry just cant help but snicker its just hilarious!!! just gets me every time
Link and Keaton look like they could have been great friends. I felt the same way link did as Keaton tried to defend himself against Volga. Amazing work MajorLink. I really enjoyed this. Even though we never got the chance to see what Keaton looked like, but l though he was a great character and an true friend.
This was awesome; glad to see it finished after so long. Your use of body language is stunning as always and your friend's music is just incredible. Congrats on completing such a monster project!
Amazing!!! I love the story and the mystery of the Keaton character!!! The way the characters move is a bit awkward, but the body language and facial expressions are perfect!!! Can't wait for more!
This is awesome. Not only your own story but it also adds to the "Keaton the hero" from the actual game if you play it the guard at the death mountain gate says his kid loves that hero.
This is still my favorite animation of yours. Keaton is a great silent protagonist and I hope that perhaps one day we could see him in an animation again.
How are you not working for Nintendo yet? Your stories are so much better than theirs. I love how Link is still the silent hero, but he expresses so much more in your videos. You, sir, are a master story teller.
I need to share this everywhere. Your improvement on using SFM is absolutely phenomenonal. Excellently composed music for each scene and the use of SFX when walking is fantastic; you can hear the chain mail rustling as well as the footsteps which is a very thoughtful touch. The animations look quite a lot smoother than it used to be before and despite the length of the video, every single pan, zoom and camera composition seemed so well thought out. It was if nothing was done out of spontaneity but in-depth planning. I loved to see Link's character here and you even had me emotionally invested in Keaton, a character that you have first introduced to me. I can only sing praises from my eyes. Outstanding work, MajorLink. I cannot wait for more projects like this from you.
I'm not saying there will be a sequel, but I see potential for one. The reason is that "Keaton" is actually Ganon. Is he truly of good heart in this animation and get's corrupted by power, or has he been infiltrating Hyrule, seeking to activate the triforce within Link. Infiltration seems more reasonable, as Ganon is a master of deception, and he's relatively older than Link. If that is the case, then the sequel could be named "Masked Deceit".
Oh man, that was so cool! It's something different to see Link afraid, but still muster up the courage to act. I guess that's how some of us were when playing the games. I know I was!
Wow I am in awww. It would seem that this video would take a team to get 20 mins of fully detailed animation, and it was done perfectly. You deserve an award from Mr. Miyamoto himself for going above and beyond. The number of views should triple in a day, why hasn't it is beyond me. Anyways congrats on an epic video my friend, 👏 bravo.
This was absolutely amazing, and beautiful, and honestly words cannot describe it. Between the music, and just everything.... Watching it you just feel so many emotions and I think I can breathe seeing that Keaton seems to still be alive! I thought for sure early on by the end he was going to die... I just discovered your channel yesterday, and I’m so glad I did💕🥰💕
I did an amateur by comparison cosplay of link and me a wonderful looking link amid swordplay poses at comicon. I was stopped in my tracks by how great his poses were. I told him that he looked really good. Instead of ragging on me, after he looked me up and down, he gave me a bro first. Seeing it captured here brought all those memories flooding back. Beautifully done!
Keaton is the mask, I think (a theory) if you watched the trailer, you may or may not understand what I mean about that. Keaton is the mask and the body could have been made for the mask to control, that is why when the mask fell off they never found “him/her” but they found the mask. At the very end that might be a new body for the mask that fell into the ditch. The mask they found could have been the body link pulled up transformed. This is all a theory for fun! Like if you agree!
Wow, I can't believe I only noticed this animation now. It's incredible! I love the story, and Keaton is such an amazing character. He's always so optimistic with Link, I wish he was my best friend irl. He's one of those characters where they don't need to say much, but they have a lot of depth in them, and Keaton, although we know nothing about him, we know he is an absolutely astonishing hero. Anywho, this was very well done, the story was awesome, and you have done really great! My only complaint is that it finished! Haha.
This was truly epic! I felt like I was watching a movie! I found myself really being drawn into this animation! You really have a talent for storytelling, this was amazing!
You know, this is actually a credible story for the series. Link has never actually been a trained warrior/soldier, except for Breathe of the Wild and Hyrule warriors, so it makes sense that he is nervous and scared, but I find it great how you showed him rising with courage. Really amazing job, and I agree with other comments, you should do more of this, it was amazing!
I'm just gonna say it, this was awesome. Even five years down the road I can't help but remember how much this inspired me when I first saw it. I remember wanting to find out if Keaton survived. And that question still intrigues me. But even without it being answered, this alone is still great and inspiring. Never stop being inspiring with these animations.
Sitting here, eating cake, I cannot help but wonder how I hadn't heard of this channel before. Great video bud and hope the Lords of Mopar indeed grant you great success for the future.
I am like.... DAMN this is AWESOME! 0.0 I have two theorys who Keaton could be, I'm thinking of young Ganondorf or Skull Kid, because the mask and stuff. But I don't really care who he is, BECAUSE I can just imagine what the hell I want. And that's great (because I love to write Fanfiction and this is a really good inspiration). Amazing work!❤👍
Wow man, I love how your animation. It sure isn't perfect, but it's still very good. I love how you made such a great character (Keaton) without even let him talking. Beautiful man, keep it up !
Also, animations are really well done. Though, the horses could use a little improvement, such as sitting/laying down, for example. They’re not terrible though! Keep up the good work!
@@xxxhero7275 Impa is female. Keaton is male. We've seen his red hair and blue eyes, and if you pay attention to the details in the Guardhouse, you'll notice the Binding Blade among the swords in the room. This is why I think Keaton is Roy.
You know, it just occurred to me that this could be an excellent prequel to Hyrule Warriors! Most of the film could be before the events of the actual game, and the ending with Link setting out to find Keaton could take place after. Since Impa didn't know, I think that around the time Keaton went missing, Zelda started experiencing the nightmares that plague her in the opening cutscene of Hyrule Warriors, and therefore forgot to mention that Link possessed the Triforce of Courage! See, Majorlink? You're even more brilliant than was already known!
i guess that they are completely different zelda and link, or maybe, this is the another link (at the end of ocarina of time links returns to the past, then jails ganondorf, now are 2 links, the link who saved the future, and the link that never fought ganondorf), and katon are the link from the future (yeah i know that his hair is red but dreaming costs nothing)
I came to cry with emotion with this animation. Quality animation worthy of comparison to the original nintendo games. It really made my day that much better. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
When I saw press start, I just wanted to press start. Like in was playing the game! These are so awesome to watch! Zelda is the best game ever made hands down! 😀
Ok, we're all guilty of breaking those pottery jars in the building, when we arrived at Hyrule Castle originally on the N64 for the rupees. Regardless, looking forward too more animated shows like these.
It really shows the humanity in link taking a life isnt easy this is the beginning and we all know how it ends in majorlinks earlier videos awesome job man.
...I hear all these people saying "give us a sequel!" you people don't get it, do you? This story, and everything beautiful about it, would be absolutely RUINED by a sequel. This story needs to be open ended. The identity of Keaton needs to be secret. If we knew who Keaton was, all of the mystery surrounding him would be gone. If we knew where Keaton was, all the mystery surrounding him would be gone. What makes Keaton stand out is that he is a mystery. Without that mystery, he is a generic soldier. Without that mystery, Link has no determination at the end to find him. The mystery needs to be there. And a sequel, would rip all of that mystery away. Thank you for reading my paper of a youtube comment
HOLY CRAP SENPAI NOTICED ME ...Now that I have that generic fanboy reaction out of the way... I've never had one of my comments pinned... let alone one of my paper comments...
Doctor Craft Channel I guess we'll never know... but who needs to know? That's what's fun about not knowing, is being able to think up unusual and bizarre theories, and know that it could be a possibility, all because it's been left to speculation!
Doctor Craft Channel OK I understand that you don't want to give away who Keaton is but just because you don't want to ruin the surprise doesn't mean that you can't make a sequel you could do something like when his mask fell off link got dizzy you could just say that there is a curse or something like that just because you don't want to spoil Keaton doesn't mean that you can't make a sequel and it was a good animation and I'm a huge Zelda fan and I know there's only a couple maybe more people in all of the Zelda games that have red hair now there's the people that live on the forests like link did in OoT (Ocarina of Time) and most of them have red hair but all of them were cursed so they couldn't age or leave the forest untill a fairy came along side them so it could not be them and the other people would be in castle town such as I believe not sure but I think the masked salesman himself has reddish hair just like Keaton's that could be why the shop is closed a lot in the game just think of something but don't forget you don't have to do a face reveal. P.S. I will subscribe to your channel and hope for more content very soon
Ok... 1) How is all that excess information relevant? 2) Keaton's identity is the only thing a sequel could possibly be about, as Link is bound to figure it out if/when he finds him in this hypothetical sequel. 3) Thanks for subscribing!
I understand what you're saying perfectly, thank you for not talking to me without any punctuation or reasoning like the last guy. However, as I briefly covered in my original comment, there is a second factor to this animation. If Link we're to find Keaton, what cause would Link have left? To put it another way, Link finds Keaton, then what? He just goes back to being an everyday knight like before? No, if we are left unaware as to whether or not Link find Keaton, we are allowed to continue thinking of him as a "man on a mission" so to speak. A hero with "drive" if you will. He finds Keaton, and that drive is gone.
the way link reacted to stabbing volga is how any mortal human would react. link is always characterized as a courageous person who has no fears but in this you actually gave him realistic human feelings. i like it.
Now THIS is a solid story! I want to see plots and side quests like this in Zelda games, with character and relationship-building factors! You guys did an awesome job with this!
Hi! I always enjoy your content, and the animation is always so smooth and lovely and the stories are interesting or are very heartfelt and hit me in the feels. You're seriously talented, the only suggestion i would have is too slow the movement of the characters in animation. I'm not exactly sure how you do it (seriously it's awesome) but i think if you kept up how smooth it looked but slowed down the movement speed of the figures and characters so their expressions and movements weren't as fast would really make it look even more fantastic. I apologize if this seems rude, because honestly i don't know how hard it is, but i hope you take it into consideration when working on your next skit.
Everyone demanding part 2 needs to calm down. I watched it when it first was uploaded and I can't wait for part two, and I know most of these comments are from around when it first uploaded as well, but still. Animations take time. Heck, it even takes time to make a poster in SFM. so calm the frick down. (also MajorLink how do you animate so good! I tried to animate once and now I just stick to making posters because what it turned out as would give nightmares to people who don't even dream)
Incredible! Absolutely incredible! It's amazing how much storytelling you've done without any dialogue. Just the expressions, the music, & the small little details alone were enough to get me fully invested in the story. I even got emotional at the parts where Link was shaking & Keaton's conversation with Zelda. Everything about this was perfect! Intense & enthralling!
the amount of emotion you gave in this story is awe inspiring. I almost cried and you made Link seem was a hero must be first, human. War is terrifying and no man goes into it without fear and doubt, including our reincarnated hero of time. Amazing Work 10/10
Have you considered collaborating with people like writers and directors? The animation was great and I especially loved the fight scenes, I think they were very well executed. Though, I didn't quite buy Link as this anxiety-ridden character who kept hesitating (even if it were his first mission) yet not long after that despite him passing out and losing someone he seemed to have a strong bond with he was ready in his tunic to go off on his own solo mission. The music was beautiful but I feel the animation leaned on it way too heavily in an attempt to evoke emotion. One thing that did bother me specifically was the focus shifting/changes in the depth of field. Combined with the occasional camera shake it did tend to make me feel a bit ill. Some scenes like when they were sneaking up the steps to the bokoblins around the campfire could have benefited from having both areas in focus in or perhaps having the bokoblins in focus and then shifting to Link and Keaton once they entered the frame. The blur itself wasn't incredibly smooth and I found it difficult to look at sometimes. I don't mean to be malicious, I think you do great work and I'm about to go check out some more stuff but I saw a lot of potential and thought you may appreciate some of what I hope you understand to be constructive criticism. :)
You could say it was technically derived from Pikachu. In Ocarina of Time, it was the mask of a fictional character that was popular amongst children. The real life counterpart for us would be Pikachu. Only difference is that Keaton is a fox, and Pikachu is a mouse.
Quick question; was Link scared for his life, afraid to kill, afraid for Keaton's life, not ok with killing, or something else? Because that's been driving me to the brink of insanity...
I just thought he hadn't killed anyone before and was afraid, like any sane person would be. His courage awakens when his friend, who risked everything to awake his power, is going to die. It's just very human, when you do something without thinking twice, pushed by adrenaline and your own will.
Im in tears right now... Spoiler: I love the fact that you didnt show Keaton's face when his mask fell off, it leaves a great sense of curiosity for me! That was a great animation, very touching!
THIS IS AWESOME !!! To me the concept was unclear at first because in every other fan made animations I've seen, Link is presented as a hero. Thus this film provided me with a lot of suspense. Great !!!
I appreciate all the effort and work you invest in that project and the animations were quite smooth for the most part but nervertheless I got some points of critic to make. First of all I got the feeling that you limit yourself very much with only creating Zelda themed animation. Let`s face it Link is a superficial character whose feelings seem to be as limited as his soundboard and trying superhard to make every single emotion super obvious using the same 10 gasp - sounds doesn`t really change anything about that. I know you wanted to picture Link as young and unexpierienced but he was completely overloaded with emotions. But in the end I kind of liked the story and the music was on point as always. Keep it up!
_"I know you wanted to picture Link as young and unexpierienced but he was completely overloaded with emotions."_ Dude, I thought the same. Despite it, I really admire the work overall. =)

And oh, the occasional typo, but that's okay. All in all, your animation has greatly improved! And the fighting scene, I've been watching it over and over again, a testament to how amazing it was.
Keep up the great work! You're an amazing story teller.
Where are the typos??
Thank you!!!!!
If they told you, that would ruined the mystery!~
Here is a theory: Keaton is a male garudo. Silly, I know. But think about it. People know males of the female tribe to be Ganon or something similar. So the mask makes sense.
Blue eyes and fair skin do not a Gerudo make. I say it's Roy from Fire Emblem.
He isn't Hylian because of his round ears. His red hair could also mean he is Gerudo. I think you might be right.

Kinda hard when he's apparently Link's best friend in this story.
Please make a part 2, you did an amazing job with this. Love the story🙂
Keaton, aka Our Boy 18:06 with his good ol Binding blade.
Freaking awesome animations, Nintendo needs you.
*Mask gets thrown away*
*_HAS ANOTHER MASK IN HIS MASK_*
I thought that was his shield that got tossed from the blow.

Because otherwise I'm going to assume you mean during the village fight, in which case, yeah, that was his shield, not his mask.
Wow that was great I hope there'll be a part two also Keaton kind of reminds me of Roy from fire emblem with the red hair and all
Wolflink 7456 that's exactly what I thought
I Also thought that
Wolflink 7456 Yes. He definitely reminds me of Roy.

Wait Keaton is still alive in the mountain???? KEATON LINK IS COMING FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
I love your pfp. Conner is great.😂
Keaton later told this story to its children, proudly showing the mask Link later return to him.
One of the children found the story so inspirational, that it filled him with happines
The child later went on many adventures, while bringing happines to the world by selling the masks of heroes and telling their stories.
“A sword wields not strength unless the hand that holds it has courage.”
Keep up the great work and I can't wait for more original work!
ahhh gotta agree!!!
I hope you make a sequel to this, I was really hooked by the short story, and your animation is getting better and better!
I second that

Did you guys see Links Koala bear? 19:53
Yeah are we not gonna talk about that?
and the Australian flag patch
Omg that's so cute
Link is an Aussie, you heard it here first, folks.
I'm going to draw a baby Link holding a koala plushie~
Ayyeeeee Thank you so much Kris!!!!

AWESOME!
Amazing!!! I love the story and the mystery of the Keaton character!!! The way the characters move is a bit awkward, but the body language and facial expressions are perfect!!! Can't wait for more!
Roze Anna same I love MajorLink's animations.
This is awesome. Not only your own story but it also adds to the "Keaton the hero" from the actual game if you play it the guard at the death mountain gate says his kid loves that hero.
That's more of a reference to how popular Pokémon was when OoT was made. Keaton Mask looks like Pikachu.
Wasn't Keaton a three tailed fox though so it looking like Pikachu was a coincidence.
Thank you so much omg... This really means so much!!!!!
This is absolutely beautiful! Having Link showing extreme fear is a nice touch, making him seem more human than the games do. Keep up the great work!
Aw, that good bye sign Link does at Epona... it´s just too precious 5:20
ITS OUR BOY ROY!!!!
Did you forget the red hair?
Red hair fits perfectly with the Gerudo, but blue eyes don't. The Gerudo have Amber colored eyes.
@@garrysucks4190
I think you mean the blue eyes. Ganondorf doesn't have blue eyes.
U mean Ganondorf. Not ganon.

My God that was way better than I thought it would be
Oh man, that was so cool! It's something different to see Link afraid, but still muster up the courage to act. I guess that's how some of us were when playing the games. I know I was!
This is more than emotional and cute. I cried
3:04 That has to be Roy, I thought it was just the eyes and red hair, and then I saw the sword of seals and NOW I KNOW THAT'S ROY
Please Majorlink make a part 2. It's really good, very great and let link find keaton alive.

So true and still hoping there comes a part 2.
Kimberly Vandersteene I NEED A PART TWO I NEED IT I WILL SLEEP UNTIL I GET A PART TWO IF THAT IS WHAT IT TAKES!!!!!
Oh my God! This is the exact theory I was thinking about as well!!!
Your theory its wondeful. I think Keaton maybe its the Link of A link to the Past, because he have blue eyes and pink hair
Yeah, that's...not it.
Thats funny, majora is somewhat the exact same thing to ur theory so point for theory
Where can we see that they found the mask in this video? We could only see his weapon lying on the bed.
Haha.
2:11 I love the Zelda's Lullaby related music that plays here
This was truly epic!
Thanks , a part with ur name on it is in Ewalk
I am like....
DAMN this is AWESOME! 0.0
I have two theorys who Keaton could be, I'm thinking of young Ganondorf or Skull Kid, because the mask and stuff.
But I don't really care who he is, BECAUSE I can just imagine what the hell I want.
And that's great (because I love to write Fanfiction and this is a really good inspiration).
Amazing work!❤👍
Im tinking the same theory Ganondorf or Skull Kid🤔😄
Plus, red hair.
Am I the only one who thinks Keaton might be a young Ganon or something?
Chastiel :0 daauummn! could be.
Chastiel from legend of Zelda breath of the wild we know ganon is a gerodo so he can't be him
Chastiel to me he kinda looks like Roy from fire emblem. I mean the crossbow, excellent sword skills, red hair and blue eyes. Its gotta be Roy
Chastiel I thought he was malon at first. it's a dude. **facepalm**
At first I did but then I was his blue eye and changed my mind to Roy.
oh my hylia! I loved every second of this! This is the quality we NEED.
fantastic work and story!
This is wonderful! I love seeing Link feel emotions like fear, it makes him feel human
Wow man, I love how your animation. It sure isn't perfect, but it's still very good.
I love how you made such a great character (Keaton) without even let him talking.
Beautiful man, keep it up !
1:18 Why is Epona sitting the most adorable thing I‘ve seen today?

Actually I’m pretty sure it’s a reincarnated impa....
@@xxxhero7275
Impa is female.
I love this cause link has a more personally to him and it's adorable and his horse
Love this! The beginning is the most adorable thing ever, and it’s super amazing the whole way through! It also came out on my birthday. :3

I guess s o
i guess that they are completely different zelda and link, or maybe, this is the another link (at the end of ocarina of time links returns to the past, then jails ganondorf, now are 2 links, the link who saved the future, and the link that never fought ganondorf), and katon are the link from the future (yeah i know that his hair is red but dreaming costs nothing)
You guys think to much, they just use assets from existing games, that doesn't mean it's either canon or related to them, it's a whole other universe
I really love Keaton's character.
You made me cry...and I respect you for that.

No..no you didn't..it can't be!?
Raymond Cortex yea, ITS ROY
I love how in your animations you give link so much more emotion and character!
HOLY CRAP SENPAI NOTICED ME
...Now that I have that generic fanboy reaction out of the way...
OH MY GOD, THIS IS... THIS IS... T_T... TELL ME THERE IS A SECOND PART!!!!!!
I just noticed how the thumbs up are referenced in lost in infinite power series too.
the way link reacted to stabbing volga is how any mortal human would react. link is always characterized as a courageous person who has no fears but in this you actually gave him realistic human feelings. i like it.
Now THIS is a solid story! I want to see plots and side quests like this in Zelda games, with character and relationship-building factors!
You guys did an awesome job with this!
Holy shit dude, that was amazing!
I think at this rate it won't be a second part :'v
is it me or does the mask remind me of Pikachu
You could say it was technically derived from Pikachu. In Ocarina of Time, it was the mask of a fictional character that was popular amongst children. The real life counterpart for us would be Pikachu. Only difference is that Keaton is a fox, and Pikachu is a mouse.
yeah lol
Definitely not just you considering the game it comes from even referenced it looking like Pikachu.
keaton mask.
pikachu
uhhhh
they do look alike?
@Pug Gamez
No, however there is a reference to star fox in Majora's mask
Quick question; was Link scared for his life, afraid to kill, afraid for Keaton's life, not ok with killing, or something else? Because that's been driving me to the brink of insanity...
I just thought he hadn't killed anyone before and was afraid, like any sane person would be. His courage awakens when his friend, who risked everything to awake his power, is going to die. It's just very human, when you do something without thinking twice, pushed by adrenaline and your own will.
Im in tears right now...
Spoiler:
I love the fact that you didnt show Keaton's face when his mask fell off, it leaves a great sense of curiosity for me! That was a great animation, very touching!
THIS IS AWESOME !!! To me the concept was unclear at first because in every other fan made animations I've seen, Link is presented as a hero. Thus this film provided me with a lot of suspense. Great !!!
I love your work and I loved this one a lot. Thanks for the amazing videos.
You deserve 5 million subs my man
I subbed btw thx for the emotional animations my man
It GOTTA be Roy behind the mask!!

and his sword is also at the beginning!
It's Roy's base model with costume changes.
How's roy
You brought me a childhood, you brought me happiness and sadness. And for that I am grateful.
Keep it up!
_"I know you wanted to picture Link as young and unexpierienced but he was completely overloaded with emotions."_
Dude, I thought the same. Despite it, I really admire the work overall. =)
someone must make a Masked Courage Keaton for Smash, maybe over Link or Roy, cause i love MajorLink's character creations of them ^^.
Is it possible for you to mak an A Link To The Past animation?
Oh my god. This... This was gorgeous. The amazing animation, the beautiful story line... That was the best animation I have seen to this day. Keep up the good work, you're amazing!
Keaton was truly a hero! He did what he had to do for the sake of Hyrule. He trusted in Link and motivated him continuously even when his life had almost ended a few times.
I loved it.
I hope there's a part two also I hope Link has more courage in part two
