Grew up in Halifax Dartmouth. I have staggered into that place a zillion times. Haven’t been back in 30 years and I miss it so. I swear I have never woken up with a slice of Done pizza beside me on the pillow.

you know, Donairs are much older then from 1973.
Donairs were indeed invented in Halifax but it was in 1917 and it wasnt by a greek nor a turk. Those are just fake rumors that appeared because Donaire looks similar and are cooked like the Donar but taste completely different. Sadly TH-cam doesnt let us taste so people think donar and donair are the same because they look the same.
