K&F Concept are not good to deal with if you have a problem with their goods. I bought this tripod last month, specifically for the function that you hadn't worked out ( I know you've done it now). Unfortunately mine has a fault (as I lock the head it moves about degrees to the right) and although their website if full of guarantee promises, they don't actually honour them and are not keen on responding to emails. Despite sending them photos they asked for a video but they didn't even open the file. The last response from them was "can't you just keep it or perhaps sell it on" K&F Concept are not a good company to deal with.
Can you use your phone to record using this tripod? As in stand the tripod upright, tilt the second arm forward for an overhead angle, balance the phone on it somehow (maybe i need to buy an item to get that but idk what), then record with your phone? I can’t afford a camera you see
They send you one free of charge. I bought one from there website and never received it. Can not get a response from them. Extremely dissatisfied. Looks like a great tripod though.
How is anyone's experience with a fairly heavy camera and long lens. I have been frustrated with some tripods because they really don't handle the heavy load well at all.
Nice tripod & it has your favorite color! According to the pix on Amazon the lower ball joint does go down, maybe yours is just stuck, I had a joint like this & I had to apply a bit of pressure to get it to free up, of course I loosened the screws quite a bit first. I may have to get this one.
I really wonder how you can say "a really nice quality ball head", when the rotating ball function is not working on your model. A malfunction on the unit should be criticized when we are talking about honest opinions. It would be a return item, would you have paid for it, i believe...
The second ball also slides out all the up and then bends on an angle also

Yeah was surprised the video didn't go into detail about one if the main features of the tripod with the centre column moving to a 90 degree angle!

Yes that should be possible with a phone holder adapter.

This handled a pretty decent camera load.

It was working fine, user error in this case.
