    I completely agree with your turbo choice. To me, more peak power isn't really a compensation for that sweet low end torque feel.

    Best part of video was the refresh. I'm hoping to buy a pre-owned BMW something in the near future. I now fully realize how critical and potentially how expensive it may be to just get it to a reliable state. In that regard, this video was very helpful.

      May be better idea to buy a lower mile 135i and then mod it. If y o u mod your 190k 135i, you will be replacing parts for a little while until you have a brand new car!

    FYI it's not the wastegate rod that has the issue causing the 30ff and rattle noise. It's the actually flapper and it's assembly. It gets worn out and causes flapper play and improper sealing causing boost issues.

    Love the work very smart choice😉
    I didn't like the air filters position tho.

    • @coynor1
      @coynor1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not true. Bimmer Motor Sports has a good video explaining this exact topic resulting in no power loss. Almost every N54, N55 owner has their intakes on the top left or right side of their motor, But of course having them low sucking cooler air wouldn’t be bad neither it really doesn’t make much of a difference to matter.

    • @coynor1
      @coynor1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also these turbos are oil and coolant feed not like your typical turbos that are thermally feed therefor needing a colder air source to operate correctly.

One thing with step 1 vs step 2 it possibly can tune better with 1 vs 2. also those look like Delphi coils good luck with those not sure if they will get the job done even elders get questionable in the 500s.. the real weak spot i see is your injectors index 4🤯 why weren't they replaced under recall for free🤷‍♂️ good luck almost there can't wait to see the numbers those inlets tuned properly huge gain..

    Have you addressed the rod bearings yet?
    And what are you plan on doing with the turbos you removed?

      No need to address the rod bearings. Sending the turbos back to Pure

      @@VehicleVirals reason Im asking is because of the rod bearing failure on N54's.

      @@thisguyshorty I think you're thinking of the e9X M3. N54 doesn't suffer from that issue, at least not that I know of.

    Bro, one question, do you have that exhaust drone inside your car? I own a e93 335i too and i deleted the muffler, and that's WAAAY to loud inside my car

      I don't because of the Valvtronic system. Once it starts to drone I close the exhuast valve.

    Will the transmission hold up? The zf6hp19 has only 450nm torque rating
