Dude. Back in 2019 I was so depressed, and I started trying to learn to be a drummer, but I was so sad that I felt that I could do nothing.
Nevertheless, I said to myself that if I learn how to play smells like teen spirit, I could actually play the drums... but my efforts where not enough I guess, so I almost try to kill myself, and, because it wasnt succesful, I stumbled upon your video teaching that song, and so I finally was able to learn it.
What Im trying to say, is that Im grateful of you for saving my life, kinda...
Nevertheless, keep up on the content and stuff.

I’ve just watched three different ways of playing this intro on TH-cam (no criticism, all sound great by the way) is this an interpretation or the way it’s played on the album?
Hi Paul, great question,... many drummers in big bands play things slightly differently in a variety of versions. Mostly because they play the song so much that they get bored of playing it the exact same way over and over again. With that said, in my videos I do things more accurately to what he is actually doing in the song.

According to what I’ve read, Dave used two separate tracks to record the drums. I think one was extra toms.
