That battle with the spider got a little scary! I was worried that Fleabag wasn't going to make it. I think they are on their way to becoming a formidable group.
Ah the chaos and how it can lead to random great gear and wealth. Really is one of those things that makes Kenshi what it is. And you can learn to weaponize it yourself. Those spiders repaired and dropped inside a holy nation mine would make great distractions while freeing some slaves for potential free recruits. Good Ol Ruka. She is one of my go to free recruits. Kang and Rane are often around there and well worth their asking prices. Could give Isayah his own Shek unit to lead. One could assume with her having an honorific like The Giant, Rane is known to most Shek. I like to rename Ruka, Ruka the Hornless and then have her be the one to defeat Flying Bull and rename her Ruka Bull Horns. Not every play through but often. Tips: Do not have everyone healing. Set your robot to repair and medic only. It is most likely to recover first, and being a med-bot as well makes sense. Why? Because Splinting is very dependent on your medic skill. Having a devoted medic means getting those splinted legs functional faster. Really saves on travel time long run. If you want a 2ndary healer I would go with Miu. Her spider sense makes her well worth taking out with you. And well worth getting her trained in ranged combat. Really loving the organic progression. Good quality RP. So glad the puppers made it. I was worried there at the end a moment for him/her. Fun fact there is a mod that adds a 2nd set of fangs to the underbite for bone dogs to identify the females from the males more easily. Called something like female bone dog underbite. Oh, and RP idea. Robots make great leave behind units because you don't need to feed them. You may also want to have a spy network as Ryoshi. Robots might even be imagined having some form of communication system they use among themselves. You could try to recruit any skelly you can to leave some in key cities allowing you to switch to them and see what is going on all over the world. Might make for some interesting "Meanwhile" video sequences. There is a mod that alters the training dummies in the shinobi towers. makes one dexterity, one melee attack, and one melee defense. They also go to 75 but not in any kind of sped up way still takes the time put in. Not a bad way to hit them for desired ranges without too much grind, and those 3 stats make them decent but not overpowering. Still need to train weapon skills and toughness to really be a well-rounded melee and thus some real combat time still needed, just will win a bit more often. If I may, the Sand Ninja Oni may be too easy of a boss target. I have done a black bag op on her using 2 groups of mercs and they killed all the light armored ninja. Oni put up a decent fight, but she can't take heavy armored mercs with stats 50 plus for long. Funny enough though there is a mod, the luxury gold dust weapon mod I mentioned before, adds a location called Oni Castle and a pair of Super Shek called the Oni Brothers with massive bounties and rep with the Shek. These guys are true modded super end game type foes. One of them could likely solo Cat-Lon. I have beaten them on a play through, but it left some of my best warriors maimed and using back up extra limbs to carry on during the battle, and one of my very best was killed holding off one of the 2 on their own to allow us to divide and conquer them. And I am talking characters like the Pheonix among those maimed using the Recruit anyone mod, and funny enough the sand ninja Oni was in that group and both of those units lost limbs. Just some info for thoughts. I will eat some beef and rice and drink some Saki in celebration of their first real victories in serious battle. That spider could have killed or maimed anyone or more of your characters.
I very much like the spider idea you mentioned, and I will be using it in the future! Right now though I think we need the Cats more - when we are planning an attack on a base, then I will try it out! Tempted by Kane/Rane, but I wanted to save some room in the squad for some of the newer unique characters/newer sub races. I am tempted though, as I know they are worth the Cats. Will change the healing up next episode :) I realise Oni does not have the greatest stats as a main antagonist, but that is part of the story that hasn't come to light yet :)
13:37 you could just make the edits in the FCS to have fleabag be able to wear it, its very simple to do. Either way this should be a interesting series!
Hey potato this might be a bit late of a comment but the bar in the hub has not been removed but it has infact been moved further down. its now in the giant snailhouse.
with the bonedog bags if modded some bonedogs are actually based off of human characters so thy cant used bonedog bags youll have to keep buying bone dogs untill you get an actual bonedog to put a bag on them. unfortunately theres no way to know if a bonedog is a bonedog and its all trial and error.
Kenshi 4 life bro I am new to the game but I Yust can't stop playing Shrek hood is quite safe and close to the hub I usually Yust do mining ⛏️ all they long then buy food buy house build house research I Yust avoid fighting at all costs until I train up the boys a bit with personally crafted training dummies
Nothing wrong with being a battlefield vulture. If nobody else wants the stuff, it might as well be put to good use. Life is hard in the wastelands.

This series is the best one you've done in my opinion i love these videos and can't wait to say more
That campfire indoors is fire hazard 😂
Hey a little tip. when telling someone to block they get an increase to their blocking skill but will not attack
Always excited for a new episode , been really looking forward to more of this series :)
Man, I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and your Logan Stone series and on top of that? Your commentary is amazing!
Glad you are enjoying them :)
that armor for flee bag wouldnt go on because he's still a pup has to be an adult or elder to wear
Im pretty sure animals with packs have to be full grown adult first before they can wear a pack.
Ah that may be it, thanks!
@@IslandPotatonp
I was thinking this also.
Surprised your videos don't have more views, they are well done!
Thank you 😊 Only my second series of Kenshi, so not something I’m known for :)
What better way to start the episode than a good old fashioned massacre 😂

Love this series can't wait to see what you do next
Given that I know almost nothing about this game or its world, I'm enjoying watching this series. Moar, plox! =^[.]^=
When you get to beep I hope you get beep.
