My partner lives 15 minutes walk away from Salford Quays in Pendleton by Salford precinct, I live in Liverpool but spend a lot of my time there so I’m very familiar with everything in this video, it’s where I go on nice days to sit in the sun, have a coffee and listen to music, it looks great on a sunny day. 👍
This is a really awesome video today walking around Manchester and the Salford Quays this area of England is very beautiful here and i really enjoyed seeing MediaCityUK where they film Coronation Street which is one of the many British television shows i love to watch on TH-cam especially the 60's and 70's episodes of Coronation Street this really is an awesome tour of Manchester thanks for another great video walk until your next video Thank You.🇬🇧📺📺🇬🇧
Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express a few years ago when my husband was on a business trip. I really enjoyed the area to walk around during the day. The War Museum is excellent. Also The Lowry.
This brings back some good memories when my daughter lived at Salford quays on the 17 floor I think when she was teaching in Manchester now lives east Asia. A good memorise going to see warhorse at the Lowry theatre also her graduation at the bridge water hall, happy days!
@@GimbalWalkTV yes it was, if you get the chance to get tickets you must see it, thank you for all your filming I have been to some lovely places from the comfort of my armchair!❤️
Love it at Salford Quays. Used to go regular with my lad when he was younger for shows at the Lowry and stay overnight at the Premier Inn. Maybe do a follow up walk on the other side past the BBC building and Lowry Theatre and shops.
@@GimbalWalkTV Heavy engineering, Kelloggs, I worked at GEC for a while. My 1981 map of Manchester shows loads of factories, mills, and warehouses together with extensive docks. All still there in 1997 map, producing necessary goods. Enjoy your videos.
Salford Quays isn't in Manchester. Salford has its own Council. It's in Greater Manchester and like Old Trafford isn't in Manchester. Rochdale and Bolton aren't in Manchester but in Greater Manchester. Manchester is only the 8/9th largest city in the UK.
When people say 'Manchester' they mean 'Greater Manchester' just like 'London' is synonymous to 'Greater London'. It's like telling a tourist that he's not in London when he is standing outside the Houses of Parliament which is located in the City of Westminster with a population of only c204k.

So true. I think it's a bit futuristic looking in places too
