@@Rippypoo Without money or a ready-to-go army of volunteers a new candidate who isn’t Harris won’t have access to Biden’s money or network of campaign offices. The candidate will be unknown to most Americans who often can’t even name their own state’s governor. Most importantly the Republicans lawyers will be able to keep the new candidates name off the ballot. Remember that Democrats barely got Biden on Ohio’s ballot this year because of a state rule.

I think that Elaine sounds elitist. I think she fails to understand that millions of democrats across the country have been polled and a majority of them never wanted Biden a second term. I think that she fails to mention that the part canceled several primaries, didn't allow people to vote, and the party bosses never allowed debates or a fair and true primary. If the Party took it upon themselves to just nominate whoever they wanted? There would be anger as a result of that. And her comment was pretty outrageous when she said that Super Delegates were not elite. Yes they are. Corrupt, elected, delegate politicians who have been bought by corporate donors in their states are members of the Elite in this country.

One of the President's core constitutional duties is to "...preserve, protect and defend the Constitution..." and that includes defending the Constitution’s Electoral College provisions under Article II, Section 1, Clause 3, which DJT clearly sought to defeat with the "Green Bay Sweep". The organized use of private attorneys and WH staff to produce and transmit forged elector slates, which were designed to induce VP Pence to reject the valid elector slates as well, is a blatant violation of DJT’s “core constitutional duties” that should lead to his prosecution pursuant to 18 USC § 1001 for the false swearing of his federal oath of office. This abrogation of oath and violation of the election interference statute 52 USC § 10307, could also be the basis for disqualification of DJT’s presidential electors in a contest of those ascertainments issued post-election pursuant to 3 U.S.C. § 5(d).

Now (July 2) you have the worst problem you two didn't consider: an obviously incompetent nominee who won't step aside. Since the Dems voted him in knowing he was already in decline and a selfish, nasty piece of work, you got what you deserve. What you did talk about was interesting, but it might not apply. Can the DNC release pledged delegates before the first vote?

Ezra just asked the right question and the only people who are really doom and gloom on the potential that this woman is discussing taking place are those who are interested in the big money and where the money goes because the thing is elections have gotten out of control, and there is an industry built inside of it and anybody, and everybody should know that in a capitalist system when an industry is born Never wants to die. I’m not saying that this would kill the election industry, but it would take a lot of money out of peoples mouths who have been feeding off our fear and bombastic nature.. She’s dead right that this would look like chaos and the American public would gobble it up and that right there would be all the free advertising anybody could get.
