    That looked like fun. I don’t think I’d want to stand up on a paddle board but the seat on it to make it a kayak looked interesting! Thanks for sharing.

      haha yes, it's a calm river. Sometimes it can get dangerous in June if there's lots of glacial runoff and rain, but not often

    Hi there one thing I'd like to mention is that you should have different leash - river paddling requires a quick release leash. It is very unsafe & dangerous to paddle with an ankle leash. I strongly encourage proper safety protocol on rivers.

    • @MustDoCanada
      @MustDoCanada  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good point. For tubing, we don't bring a leash, so probably best to just leave it off

      Today we watched this mistake cost someone their life on the bow near Bowness. Please use a quick release and always have a life jacket 😞

    If I go rafting are there washrooms around the bow River?

    • @MustDoCanada
      @MustDoCanada  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      unfortunately, no. I mean, there might be a restaurant near downtown but I think it would be hard. Best choice would be the small patches of forest or the water hah

    Are you allowed to swim in the river, is it too deep?

    How are you gonna title this "paddling the bow river" when literally only 2 mins of this 11 min video is you on the river? Absolutely terrible video.
