In France they vet tell people to use hemp instead of pine or woods. I never used pine bedding but from what I saw at petshop, hemp really has a better absorption. Unfortunately I noticed that my cavy coughed regullary with hemp bedding. Since I changed for bath mats she only cough occasionally ( because of hay dust I think ). If you don’t have your own washing mashing bath mats/fleece will be pretty annoying, not gonna lie. But you’ll not have bedding everywhere and it’s easier to clean and look better.
@Julia Grabiec I couldn't agree more!! I have had it for a few days and I totally agree with all the pros and cons... it's great but only use the fleece..and it is flimsy lol but I do love it being a much bigger space for them 😊
Hi great cage but guinea pigs need a lot more hay so I would just recommend putting a hay pile or using a litter box it is a big part of there diet. Also guinea pigs are social animals they need a friend the only exception is if they do not like to have a friend so like say you have tried to bond them with another pig and they are always the aggressive one and they won't bond with another guine apig but if they do you should get a second cage to expand it especially for males. And pine I do not recommend at all maybe paper bedding or fleece. Btw no hate
I would recommend changing your guinea pigs bedding as pine wood shavings can give guinea pigs respiratory infections a better and safer option is aspen wood shavings, or fleece were you buy to fleeces and just wash them once a week. Not sending hate just some recommendations
Guinea pigs Crossin I would rate it a 10 ! It’s perfect and its a great size for guinea pigs ! And it’s also fun to “decorate “ it in your own way and you can always change it around if you want ! It’s just amazing ❤️ hope this helped !!
Hey I know this video is really old and you might not see this but i would like to know can you give a link to the cage because I want the same one but thers one that doesn’t vome with all that and one that does and idk which one does..
XxAnimalLoverxX I have two females! I think it’s an okay amount of space for now but I’m considering expanding as they get older. I don’t think it would be big enough for two males
yes! i keep then on the floor although i make sure that floor area is always clean , and i also keep them by the window for fresh air and some light when needed!!
Adorable! Please put a lot more hay, hay is more important than anything else atop the purple hidie you should have hay and just lots of hay, that hay basket serves no purpose, you can just put hay in than corner too. Your Guinea is so adorable! 😊💕
I love the cage!!! However, I don’t recommend using pine wood shavings as it can cause respiratory infections in guinea pigs.
Piggie Time Thank You!!❤️ , do you recommend a cage fleece ? Or paper bedding? And thanks for telling me !🙂
TheLifeOfCece fleece blankets with towels underneath work super well!! Paper bedding works fine, but I personally prefer fleece by far.
Piggie Time Ok Thank Youu so much!❤️

I have the same cage for my piggies and it works really well! I'm hoping to expand it in the future though!
Do you have two or more piggies? if so, is it enough space?
XxAnimalLoverxX I have two females! I think it’s an okay amount of space for now but I’m considering expanding as they get older. I don’t think it would be big enough for two males

Hey! If you get that cage with the divider than it does! If you don't then no.
Are you keeping the cage on the floor ? I’m getting this cage today and I don’t know if they can be on the floor or not 🤦🏽♀️
yes! i keep then on the floor although i make sure that floor area is always clean , and i also keep them by the window for fresh air and some light when needed!!
Is the song a remix if never gonna give you up? If so does this count as a Rick roll?
Tell knuckles I said HEY! 🥰
I will love!!!
How come he/she lives alone?
I believe males can live alone not females but I have a female n she likes living alone I juss show her a lot of attention so she never feels lonley
Make sure you feed both of your guinea pigs vegetables and not just pellets
I do ! :)
Whenever you can buy another male guinea pig cause if there kept Alone for long enough they can die from stress
i know rightt, but I recently just got one !
TheLifeOfCece okay that is good take care and be safe 🙃
Pine and cedar is terrible for guinea pigs and can cause major respiratory problems for them.
her bedding is kiln dried so its safe
@@user-yd4bj9bs4h I don’t think that makes it safe cause it doesn’t get rid of the dust
