There will be a third season for sure. You can't end this series if you know how the story will end (as a french history teacher i would'be very sad if they won't finish the masterpiece)
@@xpstfives4659 They've taken extreme liberties with the actual information on the people portrayed in the series. But I douibt they wll do a season 3, unless they go even further from the source material. Historically the show isn't very accurate, so I wonder why you're interested "as a french history teacher". It's a great show, but not a very accurate one.
I searched on Netflix for German language films and series and hence found Barbarians. I loved it so much that I watched both series 1 and 2 in about 48 hours!
Loved this show, originally got into it to help learning German and got completely engrossed. Much respect for the realism and continuity details when it comes to the fighting, cuts, wounds, etc… great performances all around and hopefully a season 3!
Looks like Folkwin wasn't on the "everyone wear leather jacket and black pants" text thread, lol. Netflix - don't mess with us - you betta sign them up for a third season!!
Kind of melancholy how she realized she might never return to that set. It's a year later and Netflix has ghosted the audience. A return seems unlikely. So it's good she took the time to savor that moment.
Season 2 is straight garbage. Hiccups and Asterix in How to train your dragon is more historically accurate. Story is a mess and watching 100 pound woman cosplaying a Urukai in a loin cloth taking down fully trainined and armor legionary made me laugh out loud.
@@rhysioeren3203 I mean she was a warrior just like Lagerthar was for the vikings. Taking down men is plausible, how easy? Probably very difficult but both were trained since kids to fight.
@@jayleon89 There's no historical proof that Thusnelda fought in any battle. Doesn't mean she wasn't there, but since she was a historically important person, you can expect at least some information to be there about what she did and did not do during those times. The show isn't very accurate in terms of history. I mean, I honestly don't care myself. I think Jeanne is awesome as Thusnelda and her facepaint is amazing. I enjoyed watching her go to battle. I enjoyed watching the show. Even though I fully realize none of it probably actually happened. Especially given the liberties the show has taken already.
I prefer season 1,folkwins death was dishonourable, disappointing and ironic,a man who was able to slay 20 archers on a cliff but died easily being stabbed by one person..
I watched the entire show within 24 hours. It's so well done. If we don't get season 3, more heads will roll at netflix than in the show.

I watched the whole season in 1 day without giving a break, this show is so cool, i cannot wait season 3🥺
It was so painful. It has nothing to do with history
you and me both
@@MohamedRamadan-qi4hl Historically it's very inaccurate, but it's still a good show to watch.
Absolutely LOVE Barbarians! Bring on Season 3! Please?!

Jeanne goursead 😍😍😍😍😍
There MUST be a season 3!!!! Heads will roll if not!
I loved everything about it. It was awesome
Jeanne Goursaud ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It reminds me of 'Das Boot' from the eighties because of the atmosphere, the tension, and the intense character dynamics.

Best series ever❤

I would love for Jeanne Goursaud to be James Gunn's new Supergirl. I think she has all the tools to make Woman of Tomorrow something special.
Ok so, season three??
I'm confuse. Who really killed Flavus? I only see a knife stab him.
The soldier he just had the fight with and who he thought he had killed.
He wasn't fully dead and stabbed him.

Probably you should watch History Channel if you need more accuracy, the tb show is just not going g to give you that. But that is well known.
