Brian Mays voice is brilliant even though he doesnt rate it. Every time i hear him sing i feel emotion. I loved Freddie but Brian always conveyed emotion. Loved him in 1973 and i love him now. Happy b/d Sir Brian, lov ya.
I loved hearing this interview and now I’m even more excited about hearing the Star Fleet album and wish so badly I could’ve gotten tickets to one of the Concerts coming to the US. I’m just sick about not being able to see and hear Queen when this probably would’ve been my last opportunity to do so. I’m 72 yrs old and have been a fan since the 70’s when Killer Queen came out. It makes me so sad I’m missing it! ❤ Thank you to Brian and Roger for bringing your music back to the US. I wish you the best of luck in your tour here. My heart and spirit will be there with you guys! ♥️🌹♥️
The Top of the World riff is actually at end of Jump so at that time this was before 1984 came out so obviously Ed was working on it at the time of the May Star Fleet recording sessions
Does anyone know what song plays before the interview starts? Just ws the video gets started (the bit we get is just too short to be properly Shazamed :'c).
Great stuff. The two garden shows on the hot space tour were complete sellouts,my father worked in Philadelphia as a promoter.Eddie said empty seats, not true unless they were obstructed or behind
I know that this interview is mostly focused in Star Fleet, but I wanted to comment on what Brian said about his wishes of a second Bohemian Rhapsody movie: God, I wish they never make a sequel to that movie. I love Brian and Roger, but that was kind of a disaster regarding the script and how they decided to tell the story. Also, I distinctly remember Brian talking in interviews about how they decided to end the movie in the Live Aid portion because they didn't want the focus to be in Freddie's illness and make people end up on a sad note (I don't remember exactly how he phrased it, but it was along those lines). So with this hypothetical sequel, what would they do? Or NOW it is okay for them to have a sad and depressing ending? Idk, I just wanted to have this off my chest 😂
