I just finished watching the first season of Tough Enough. Maven has always oozed charisma and likability. WWE should absolutely hire him as an on-air personality.
I remember how all the contestants loved being around Maven. Josh even wanted to leave when Maven left to see his mom cuz he missed Maven so much. Such a standup guy
@@aybanpali Yeah I found he was far and away the most awesome person out of the whole cast. I never use this word to describe another man but damn it, Maven's one helluva charming guy. Lol.

My only criticism to Maven is he’s way too humble ! Haha he never gives himself credit! Maven, no matter how big of an impact you had in the wwe you are crushing the TH-cam game! If you’re not gonna give yourself credit, I will! Maven is killing it, love his videos.
Another great interview Chris. One suggestion, if this is YOUR studio, you should have the guest sit where you’re sitting (with the rocky background) and you in front of the acoustic panels. It emphasizes the fact that it’s your studio, and the guest has a more “natural” background.
Love Maven's channel. I am a huge 90s-early 2000s wrestling fan but didn't have cable growing up, mostly played the games, and didn't even know who he was until I came across his channel. I've been rewatching WCW and WWF/E from 1993 on through Peacock for a few years now when I can. I've also watched almost every video Maven's released in the past year or so. Awesome guy with great insight into the industry back when it was at its peak. He has been through some stuff and came out better for it when he could easily gone the other way and I will always applaud and respect him for that.
Always loved Maven. I felt I was him or I could be a wrestler due to him winning Tough Enough. It's like he was an Avatar to us the viewers. Thank you Maven for inspiring me/us 🙌
Maven needs to give himself more credit. I was a diehard wrestling fan in my childhood but stopped watching it when I hit 18. I hadn’t watched the sport in over 15 years. However Maven’s TH-cam channel not only got me interested in the WWE again but it got me watching wrestling again. His videos are so interesting and authentic. And I actually think he could have been a bigger star had he been able to do TH-cam while wrestling. Because I see so many people in the comments going “I wasn’t a fan of Maven back in the day but now he’s one of my favorite wrestlers” or “I never knew he was this great of a guy. I really wish he was still wrestling”. We just didn’t get to see his real personality until now. I know he’s extremely humble and wouldn’t ever blame anyone but himself for his career. But I really do think he was wasted potential. However now he’s completely revived his career and he’s really re-energizing the sport in a big way. I really hope the WWE brings him back on as a commentator. Dude should be hosting their behind the scenes content and being incorporated in live recordings doing back room interviews etc. Seriously he’s such a star and they are missing out. But yeah he’s way too hard on himself. Although I do respect that he doesn’t have an inflated ego.
As someone who screwed the pooch on a bunch of my own opportunities, I bet he is right that he didn't try hard enough. Not to say he isn't talented (those dropkicks are legit clean af), but if management sees everyone else at his level trying super hard to learn, and he's not trying as hard, that does tend to send a message that, even if he's more talented, he will top out lower than other guys for not pushing himself. That being said, you're right that Maven has CLEARLY worked on himself and grown a lot.
The charisma of Maven is always crazy to see because I doubt many of us thought he had that quality as a wrestler. But he clearly does, and I hope it gets him something with the WWE, as he's becoming a face for wrestling.
It's always nice to see good things happen to good people and that's how I feel about Maven. Good for him. Speaking of good people, another great video CVV!
I'm not a real wrestling fan (was back in 80s FL championship wrestling etc and very early 90s) but I love Maven's channel. The "behind the scenes" insight is a fascinating look into the life of a wrestler.

It may have been the way he said it or that it’s just at the lowest point in his career. I’m so happy for him now, he seems like such a humble person and someone that just loves life and sharing his experience with the fans. Thank you Maven.
