No doubt go down in history as one of the best final turns in all of the Yugioh anime’s. The stellar animation by Vrains MVP animator No Gil Boh, the incredibly fun play of the Cyberse engine utilising most of the decks core cards (e.g. Micro Coder, Code Generator, Cynet Optimisation, Cynet Codec, Transcode Talker), dialogue between Playmaker/Ai and Bohman, the loop between Darkfluid’s attack/negation effect and Perfectron’s destruction immunity until all the counters are used up and it’s ATK becomes 0, the homage to the finale of Yusei vs Zone where Darkfluid attacks are represented by each of the fallen Ignis except Lightning and so many more little details like those that make all the situational shenanigans with Bohman’s Master Storm Access skill make this duel worth it. This was also the duel that finally converted me into a Cyberse lover and to play a deck just like Playmaker in both Master Duel and real life tournaments and it is super fun to play.
This duel is the weakest season finale duel in Vrains. The others two is light years ahead of this one in terms of quality. Especially the final season one between Playmaker and Ai

I just realized: Assuming Perfectrons protection & 0 damage effect isnt an activated effect or happens during the damage step (otherwise darkfluid could negate the effect right there, and that would be the end of it) and the effect that would destroy darkfluid isnt mandatory, couldnt Bohman have just stopped attempting to destroy darkfluid? That way darkfluid wouldnt have had a chance to activate its effect and therefor wouldnt get additional attacks, and bohman would have survived the turn?
I assume its activated. Since its reaction effect, same like any exosisters monster if opponents moves card from their gy. If not there is no way darkfluid can chain that. But if its like valmonica link 1 monster who continuous (like bagooska thingy) effect protection, sure, it cannot be negated.
It depends on the translation, the first one I found mentions that both effects can be activated, meaning it depends on the owner whether to do it or not. In another description, which I think is more reliable, the first effect is a decision, but the second is treated as mandatory, in this case it can be fulfilled because Playmaker refuses to activate Darkfluid's effect of denying it because even if he denies it, according to the writing basis of Darkfluid and Perfectron itself, they can activate their effects until their counters run out (In what I read on the different pages both agree that there is no limit regarding how many times Perfectron can activate its effect, the same with Darkfluid, it does not say that once it is denied it cannot be activated again [As an appendix this was a small "bug" in DL, at least that's how I remember it because there was a monster that as such had no limit when activating its effect, that is to say that even if it was denied it could activate it again, then DarkFluid denied it and the only one who ended up losing was DarkFluid itself, which lost its counters]) Following this path, it was basically a loop, mentioned by Bohman himself and AI, "Playmaker, did you understand the power of DarkFluid instantly to master this combo?" - "You fell into a combo of destruction that you can't avoid." If Playmaker negated Perfectron's effect, it would activate again, but regardless of the translation, Perfectron's second destruction effect doesn't need any requirement beyond battling, so whether activated or not, Playmaker would have to spend 2 counters to negate those effects, although according to Darkfluid's effects, it would attack before Perfectron's second effect is activated. Buuuut, reviewing rules and such things, we would have 2 paths: 1.- Basically, like this duel, but summarized, that is, Darkfluid begins the attack, Perfectron spends 1 counter to avoid its destruction, Darkfluid spends 1 counter to negate that effect, and by its own effect it attacks again before Perfectron's second effect is activated, and so on until Perfectron runs out of counters and its ATK is 0, and DarkFluid crashes with 3000 ATK. 2.- The other way, I don't know how likely it is, because I don't know 100% of the rules of the counters in the game, that is: Darkfluid attacks, Perfectron spends 1 counter to avoid its destruction, Darkfluid denies that effect, and here comes the thing... If DarkFluid denies that effect, the counter is lost? If it is lost, then the same thing would happen as above, but if it doesn't lose, Perfectron has a way to avoid being destroyed indefinitely until DarkFluid loses the counters, that is, it also keeps its ATK and the power of the Judgment Arrows magic that doubles it, if Dark Fluid runs out of counters, then it would lose by ATK. So going back to the duel, either Playmaker knew about this, that is, if he didn't allow Perfectron to spend the counters, they wouldn't decrease, and therefore he would lose, or he wanted to force Bohman to be forced to spend Perfectron's counters so that his ATK reaches zero. Well if he didn't, Bohman lost. Now how can we know if Perfectron's second effect is mandatory or not? Well we can guide ourselves from what I said, if Perfectron's effect won't activate after the battle, Bohman wouldn't have any problem stopping there, buuuut since Perfectron's own effect to avoid being destroyed is optional, Darkfluid can negate it, basically Bohman was screwed in one way or another and he ended up losing. Because if we analyze the duel, DarkFluid attacks, Perfectron activates its effect, loses 1 counter, the battle continues, Bohman, in clear ignorance, because DarkFluid's card was created right there, activates Perfectron's effect to destroy Darkfluid, was it necessary? YES, because DarkFluid had its counters and Bohman didn't know what they were for beyond buffing DarkFluid's own attack, plus he would get rid of a strong monster, which as he himself comments, "The only link 5 monster is the one I created." So between ignorance and arrogance he chose to activate Perfectron's destruction effect, starting the loop, the option was that knowing that he can't assure anything regarding DarkFluid, he doesn't know what else he can do, if he leaves it alive another turn, it may have some effect that he doesn't know about, so the most "sensible" thing was to exhaust Darkfluid's counters
@@oni-Kira it depends master rules. Before link monster introduction. Odd-eyes and magician pendulum can ss z-arc and another dimension dragon in one turn.

In another description, which I think is more reliable, the first effect is a decision, but the second is treated as mandatory, in this case it can be fulfilled because Playmaker refuses to activate Darkfluid's effect of denying it because even if he denies it, according to the writing basis of Darkfluid and Perfectron itself, they can activate their effects until their counters run out (In what I read on the different pages both agree that there is no limit regarding how many times Perfectron can activate its effect, the same with Darkfluid, it does not say that once it is denied it cannot be activated again [As an appendix this was a small "bug" in DL, at least that's how I remember it because there was a monster that as such had no limit when activating its effect, that is to say that even if it was denied it could activate it again, then DarkFluid denied it and the only one who ended up losing was DarkFluid itself, which lost its counters])
Following this path, it was basically a loop, mentioned by Bohman himself and AI, "Playmaker, did you understand the power of DarkFluid instantly to master this combo?" - "You fell into a combo of destruction that you can't avoid." If Playmaker negated Perfectron's effect, it would activate again, but regardless of the translation, Perfectron's second destruction effect doesn't need any requirement beyond battling, so whether activated or not, Playmaker would have to spend 2 counters to negate those effects, although according to Darkfluid's effects, it would attack before Perfectron's second effect is activated.
Buuuut, reviewing rules and such things, we would have 2 paths:
1.- Basically, like this duel, but summarized, that is, Darkfluid begins the attack, Perfectron spends 1 counter to avoid its destruction, Darkfluid spends 1 counter to negate that effect, and by its own effect it attacks again before Perfectron's second effect is activated, and so on until Perfectron runs out of counters and its ATK is 0, and DarkFluid crashes with 3000 ATK.
I wanna make a variation lf his actual deck with singularity and tempest. I love his deck
Awesome
Ritual (Yugi), Fusion (Judai/Jaden), Synchro (Yusei), Xyz (Yuma). Yusaku is the best of all 6 of them
2:23 For plot reasons
Yusaku still miss Pendulum card (Yuya).
@@fierteglory1027
Pendulum sucks
@@oni-Kira it depends master rules. Before link monster introduction.
Odd-eyes and magician pendulum can ss z-arc and another dimension dragon in one turn.
this duel was amazing
Unfortunately there's a ton of duel before this one that's way better. Like Lightning Revlover Soulbuner Bohman Playmaker Kusangi Soulbuner Windy Lightning Spectre.
This duel is a fine finale duel. Even the season 3 finale duel between Playmaker and Ai still way better than this one
This duel is the weakest season finale duel. The others two was way better
i like yugioh vrains
epico duelo playmaker
8:05 When Firewall Dragon Theme drums drops The duel gets more exciting. Vrains is a very underrated anime.
Still waiting for hydradrive deck...
TCG and OCG Plssssss...🤝🤝
Maybe someday in the future.
I mean, they eventually printed Don Thousand's monsters right? So I guess it's just a matter of time.
Perfectron uses countres and doesn't have a limit of uses
Would be a real shame if Bohman had Nibiru... real shame
This is plot armor to a whole new level

NEO TEMPEST END!!! 10:07

😍👍
Much better if conlinked with honeybot
I got a dragon
Un contador hace la diferencia.
Hydrive archetype TCG???? Plsss
Ikr so much potential.
Floodgates and draghead sheninagans
This character give me a Kill lá Kill vibe.
Yusei vs Zone 2.0
Absolutely nonsense. That duel was garbage
I always believed Yusaku was just the second coming of Yusei
What episode?
102. Finale of season 2
and that's why you play ash
