Sun moon Venus conjunction in 10th h. aries and 5th h. in scorpio with north node, that's why I work with symbols. The next paintings will be full of astrological mystery. Thanks to you
Fascinating! I have Taurus in my fifth house, no planets but Venus is in my second (Aquarius). I am currently writing a book (my third) about the labor of enlightenment, comparing spiritual transformation to giving birth. I was a labor and delivery nurse in my early years and have five children.
Appreciated the discussion. I think of myself as a creative person, definitely comes into play when I'm solving problems. Mercury and Venus in 5th house, in Libra. Words, cooking, ceramics and fiber crafts are my primary outlets. I love the words of Charles Bukowski too.

This video was so insightful. Thank you for clarifying about the association of Leo with creativity, as a Leo rising this is especially helpful in understanding my own chart more deeply. I had associated my creativity with the Leo ascendant, but had not deeply considered what impact Mercury conjunct the Moon in Taurus has on creativity in my chart. I have been studying astrology on my own for four years now and feel my understanding has grown so much since I began diving more into ancient astrology and your videos are an amazing resource. As someone who aspires to be a professional astrologer someday your classes are definitely something that I hope to be a part of in the future. Thanks for sharing your perspective in such an accessible way here on youtube, teaches me a great deal while reminding me I have so much more to learn.

Oh, thank you. So helpful today. I have Uranus Leo 5th house. My vocation for 35+ years is as a designer, primarily graphic, but really everything. I have had a home office and worked solo for all of this time. Nearly all of my clients have been not-for-profit, in fields of global aid, health, & the environment, but if not involved in energy, clean-up and renewable resources. My trade suits me well, but the work must be bringing something to the greater good. Venus, Saturn - 9th house. Sun, Scorpio, 8th - don't put me in the front.
My boyfriend has a very creative chart. Aqua rising, Cancer Sun/Uranus/Moon in his 5th house. He made a business in a specific inventive design field. He runs several miles daily, and he is 71. My son's girlfriend has a degree in a design field, she is a very talented artist. She is a Libra rising, 1st house Chiron with Cap Mercury/Venus tightly conjunct 3rd house, 5th house Pisces Moon she works for a children's bookstore.

I have a Leo ascendant, Taurus Sun conjunct the MC, Jupiter in Sagittarius in the 5th house and Venus in Aries in the 9th house, squared by Cancer Moon in the 12th house and on a sign base sextile only with Mercury in Gemini on the 11th house. The topic of creativity really interests and wonders me, but I do not have a consistent artistic outlet yet, despite my interest in drawing and wrting, and I have been pondering if my chart actually points to an artistic endeavour or not. I loved this video, specially what you said about Leo, it really resonated with me and my pursuit for my vocation and dharma!
Lots of Leo ascendants will have Taurus MC, ruled by Venus. I have noticed that Taurus is more expressive of craft (practical Venus). I also have that combo and have done tones of crafts and have made living by making jewellery. However, I am also a visual artist and my Venus is in Pisces 8th house, aspected by Scorpio Moon/Mars in 4th. Venus in my chart is in Jupiter's sign of Pisces and Jupiter is in Libra, Venus's sign. Jupiter is the ruler of my 5th house and is making an aspect with Aquarius Mercury. My chart is so intertwined though, so many connections and I don't have a single planet that is not in an aspect with some other, so it's sometimes hard to tell chicken/egg. Jungle :)
I have the ruler of the 5th in the 5th and I also have Moon conjunct Mercury in Cancer. I've always been highly imaginative and I do a lot of creative and lyrical writing :) Really enjoyed this video overall Acyuta and Cat, it definitely expanded my understanding of creativity in a natal chart!

I worked as a fashion designer for 16 years and am transitioning to my own art business.
I’ve seen a lot of charts in fashion and art with an emphasis on Venus or Venus ruled houses, or risings - usually 5th/10th , libra /Taurus/Pisces.....I myself have a debilitated Venus in the tenth, but a stacked libra 11th house and mutual reception with Mercury (Virgo Venus /Mercury libra)
No planets in the 5th and also Mars ruled in a day chart - which follows back to the tenth again w Sun and Venus.
moon-Mercury was interesting, I didn’t know about this association! I also have that as a trine
Thinking of the 5th, in my chart the Aries plays out as a need for independence and spontaneous expression that gets refined in the Virgo /libra houses of professionalization. Cat’s series on the 5th house rulers is really awesome for exploring this further!
@cultofmara : I too, retired from a 16 year fashion designer career (decades ago), and have/am now practicing painting, metalsmithing/sculpting. I too, have a debilitated Venus in the 10th, and no planets in the 5th.

I cannot thank you enough for your interpretation of Leo energy. I am a 10th house Leo Sun, Mercury, Midheaven (all three conjunct), North Node (trine Uranus Scorpio) and this is exactly how I feel. I do have a packed 12th house of Jupiter (ruler of my 5th)/Saturn conjunction, Pluto, and Juno with Venus Virgo in 11th and creative writing is my jam.
Hmmm I have Moon in Libra and Mercury in Taurus. I am a painter :-) and also love to write.

Q&A: could you speak to the idea of loaded hemispheres please? What is the karmic message inherent if all planets are either above/below Asc/Desc? What if only one planet is a focal point and the only one above/below horizen? Would love you explore this. :)
Moon Scorpio 2nd house, Mercury in Cancer, conjunct sun in 9th, Venus in Leo in the 10th. Was a professional performer (dancer) and martial artist for 20 years.
Well, I am a photographer and tango dancer and currently a teacher:) Venus and Jupiter conjunct in Pisces in the 5th house. And Mercury in Pisces as well:)

I have pluto in the 5th house. (Renewal /rebirth when I decided to have a baby). But I am a Cancer ascendant and have my moon in Pisces in the 10th house. Pisces midheaven and true north node. Mercury is sextile my pisces moon, and trine my Jupiter in Taurus
My guess would be a powerful 5th and 12th house

I have Venus and Mercury in the 10th house conjunct the midheaven and have been an artist since early childhood. I have earned my living from both fine art, and also commercial illustration. Since they are in Sagittarius, I liked the dualistic quality of doing both.

Question to hear your thoughts and perhaps have a thoughtful discussion: If creativity is active, then do houses, signs and planets associted with action feed into creativity? What about need as a catalyst for creativity? On the flip side, then are astrological indications of luxury and relaxation not feeding into creativity?

Association of Leo with creativity is due to the conflation of houses with sign. Will there EVER be a campaign to get this notion out of everyone's head? Dobbins alphabet system SAYS HOUSE 5 = LEO, THE 5TH SIGN . Where did she ever come up with this?
5th house Gemini with ruler Aquarius mercury in the 12th conjunct Aquarius moon, sun, and ascendent. Aries Venus in the 3rd house conjunct Juno.
Love your content. Question: should I use automatic time zone or input the actual time zone when I was born? On my birthday in the spring there was no daylight savings on that day. However now there is now. This could be important because, for example it can shift planets from one house to another.

I have mercury in Pisces in my tenth house: I have created poems, novels, I've painted, now I am interested in astrology and pick up things out of the blue very often, for instance, today I was making a chart for someone and I've seen Neptun very close to MC in Sagittarius and I asked: Are you involved in some kind of spiritual job, or therapy or maybe the holistic type of job? Some people with Neptune in MC are working in medical (maybe in the pharma domain or herbal remedies and such things) and I don't know where I'm getting from this knowledge. And regarding the "exaggeration" thing about this aspect is that when I create something looks not plausible, I do stock predictions also and people don't notice the predictions because maybe are some "kind of exaggeration" because I predict big movements in price sometimes (despite the fact are true).

Lol ... my Venus in the 5th is in Leo. However it is conjunct with Mars (4th), which sextiles Jupiter(2nd). My art has taken the form of advocacy through the written word.

Okay everybody comment here has a career with sth creative. I also have Pluto in the 5th house. Combine with my 11th house, also the Moon and North Node in Libra in the 3rd house, trine with the stellium in the 10th, I’m still figuring out how to feed myself with my writings 😂😂 and trying to make time for graphic design study 😂😂

Uuhhmmm. Click creativity. Uhm, uhm, smack starting creatively with any house with how that particular house creates within itself. Smack, smack dab within each house, uhm, for creativity. Money is creating something, so 2 house would be creative for earning money. 8 house is creative with other people’s monies. 😉😆
