    With locals, it would be really cool to meet like minded people.
    Could do an event with a $20 entry or something!

    As someone that is studying astrology, seeing your video breaking down a chart is helpful. Being able to take a full astrology course is not in the budget at the moment so, I’m reading anything I can and watching videos to learn. If you’d ever feel up to it, I’d love to see more content showing how all of the astrological pieces fit together in other charts. Thank you, in advance 💛

    As a student- what a relief!
    It's like going to a certain place (a chart, an era in time, a location)...
    & disseminating/predicting what kinds of things are condusive to the place (planets/ placements, the 1920's, or rainforest)
    environments support different aspects of life in different ways.

    I also interpret the ruler of the seventh in the tenth, and viceversa (mutual reception), as the need to have an opponent for his career (7th: known enemy. In his case the peer he needed to fight with). I see that now I know is Mohammed Ali's chart, but as Acyuta says, an archetypal range of possibilities is richer.
    It would be fun for example if Cate from the Creative introvert, or another mate of yours, pick charts from famous people and you try to interpret their charts 🐉🤗
    Cheers from Spain

    There's an archetype of the fighter with Mars in Taurus. It's reflected in the story of Gilgamesh who ascends a mountain to capture a bull. He fights the bull and eventually wins. In some versions the bull is killed, and in others the bull is tamed. But Gilgamesh wins the fight.

      Truly? I wouldn’t make a connection between Mars in Taurus and any real effort to capture anything which required ascending a mountain. It almost feels as if the Mars in Taurus I have read for seek for things to come to them: A more Venusian/Taurean kind of conquest. Perhaps best summed up as a fixed attractive manner of using their Mars’ will.
      Please if you could let us know who ascribes the Gilgamesh myth to Mars in Taurus?
      Thank you ✨

    • @bentbehind
      @bentbehind 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Alpha-Andromeda I do. Two things are illuminated in Muhammad Ali's birth chart: Mars in Taurus is in his mid-heaven. This alone suggests Mars energy at its peak. The tenth house carries a Capricorn energy, again suggesting climbing or over coming obstacles. I agree Taurus does embody venusian energy but with Mars prominent in placement, submission is spiritual or religious. Islam is often understood as submission to the will of Allah: Mars conjunct Saturn in Taurus.
      Thanks for letting me explore this theme with more clarity.

    Side note on slavery. It is still implemented under different veils, but is slavery nonetheless.
    From human trafficking to workers with passports withheld. One veil may speak to suppression of a class, culture, ethnicity- unethical wages, generational poverty, lands occupied.
    Thoughts?

  • @edwardjones4572
    @edwardjones4572 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Enjoying the episode - quick interjection.
    Slavery is very much taking place in the modern world. It takes a different form than Antebellum (and the decades after), yet exists in a variety of ways (whether sex and child trafficking, an actual slave trade in parts of Africa, or the various degrees of “wage slaves” - pushed to an extreme in a lot of Chinese factory work). Many of these numbers are going up significantly, and don’t necessarily reflect themselves in our own quality-of-life (even if they might be taking place by just a few degrees of separation).
    I understood what you meant in your comment - I just felt like adding that. Thanks Acyuta and happy birthday!

    Thank you for taking time to explain these things...I really appreciate your ability to break things down to somewhat "lamens" terms for us. I find that most of the time when i listen to podcasts with astrologers they tend to confuse me more than anything. No disrespect to them ,i just think that perhaps their teaching style doesn't resonate with me like yours tends to. I've been looking into secondary-progressed charts recently and i have been curious about your experience/thoughts on this topic. So far i haven't found any videos on this on your page. Thank you again...love love love your content(: P.S. hope you had a great birthday!!!

    There really isn't any intuition involved in astrology? I am having a frustrating time in my learning process because there are so many different meanings for the planets, signs, and houses. And then so many things are inconsistent. Using myself as an example, I have a stellium in Leo (Sun, Mars, Venus, and Pluto) in the 10th house and I have never done much in public or the work world. I am generally in a minor supportive role in the background in the things I do. But I also have my Ascendant, Moon, and Neptune conjunct in Libra in the 12th, and I am very intuitive, artistic, and introverted. This aspect is sextile to the Leo stellium. If it wasn't myself I was looking at, I wouldn't know where to begin.

    Wow, Muhammad Ali's chart is very similar to mine. Same Asc, Sun in the 6th H., Mars prominent in an angular H. (mine is in the 4th), Mercury in 7th.. interesting. But, my Saturn is in Aries in the 9th and it squares my Sun. That might be the reason why I never bought a pair of boxing gloves :) Very interesting. Thank you.

    Thank you, insightful and concise as usual! Am wondering if you would be interested in doing a video about houses that contain planets in both exaltation and detriment? For example I have a 0 degrees Sun in Aries and 14 degrees Venus in Aries in the 6th house and always wondered if the Sun sign "overpowered" the Venus one so to speak. Thanks!

    Can you do twins please?
    In Australia we had twins play for Australia. Steve was a belligerent force, a captain who knew how to lead in a very Mars, Saturn, Pluto way. His tactical brilliance was almost that of Sun Tzu. (Cricket, above all games, is a game driven by strategies and attendant tactics). Steve was a brilliant warrior.
    His brother, Mark, was a diffident artisan with the bat. He appeared indifferent to the fight almost to the point of being blasé. He'd make a century then lose focus and get out. I couldn't stand him.

    Are secondary-progressed charts in any relation to the "horary" charts???

    • @Alpha-Andromeda
      @Alpha-Andromeda 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope. Two different techniques. As if you say: is impasto or tempera technique related to marble sculpting? They are not related.
      Horary charts are “of the hour” meaning, you ask a question and I draw a chart “of the moment” when I understand your query. It’s a mundane transit chart that gives you answers to specific queries: where is my lost purse? Will I be accepted in college? Will Biden win the election, etc. The answer will be within as relates to the lords of houses, their placements and the moon of the transit chart where the astrologer is located at the moment they understand your question.
      A progressed chart is a predictive or descriptive if you so will, technique for understanding the inner climate of a person during the subsequent years of their lives and it’s based on ‘progressing’ the natal chart, day by day. In essence, day 40 will give you year 40 of the native’s life, day 66 will give you information on the 66th year of their life. It shows the internal climate but it’s a great predictive tool for changes and ailments, as well as successes of course.
      Hope this elucidates.
      By the way, Acyuta’s Horary course is top notch. If you want to learn how to do Horary it’s perfect.
