This build wasn't "alpha 2". This build was originally going to be the full game. I say this because the game was originally going to release in 2021 (December I would assume), but it got delayed by a year. Even with the full game out now as I type this, this build was the largest build in Hello Neighbor 2's development, so it would make a lot of sense that it was gonna be the full game. It may have gotten delayed back a year because of Steel Wool Studios' involvement, but that's just what I think.
EDIT: not Steel Wool, but prolly because of the fact that the lead game designer for the game was changed.

steel wool just made the DLCs, they didnt touch the main game
also this build was literally just the neighbor, its likely the cops werent part of this build at all

I think hello neighbor 2 alpha 2 was a test alpha to test the Physics and AI to then port it into the beta. or this was just a early version of the beta.
