Ikarbus Evolution (1923 - 2022)
Ikarbus a.d. is a Serbian bus manufacturer based in Zemun.
It was originally established as an aircraft manufacturer in 1923, under the name Ikarus. In 1927 an aeronautical section of the factory was found in Zemun where numerous planes were designed and manufactured, as well as under license. The Ikarus factory had manufactured in its workshops 475 aircraft up until 1962, when it stopped working for the aviation industry.
In 1954, it commenced bus production and since 1960 it completely shifted towards it. In 1968, a contract was signed with MAN for cooperation in bus production.The name Ikarbus comes from 1993, not to be confused with the large Hungarian bus manufacturer Ikarus.
In 2020, all Ikarbus employees were offered a social program and left the company. On November 25, 2022, Ikarbus officially declares bankruptcy and officially ceases to exist as a factory.
So far, more than 20,000 buses have been produced from this plant, of which a significant part has been exported.

Great job, however some details i see you missed or got wrong, Ikarbus IK112N first started production alongside IK218N in 2006, that's when first prototypes were made, first batches of both delivered to Novi Sad in 2007, later to Belgrade in 2008. Another thing is that the Ikarbus IK103CNG was made in only a single copy (both pictures from 2005 and 2009 are of the same bus, different times of service) in that it was produced in 2005, was presented in 2006, and the picture that you used for year 2005 is after a few years of service in Novi Sad where some changes to the bus were made. Another thing is the bus that you used for IK113 is actually IK112LE, it's original model designation was IK113LE, other than that you got most stuff right, so great job, keep it up!

Nice to see that someone made this, but some manufacturing years are not right and some models appear twice. For example Ikarbus Ik 103 CNG only one unit was made, and IK 112N came the same year as IK 218N. Buses before hand 112.3 and 218.3 came before them. IK 113 is 2014 i think. Good job never the less

I remember blue IK-161 very well. 1992. in Bosnia, these buses took civilians to the death camp Omarska. I survived but that IkarBus remained in my worst dreams.
