I have received my order of three cookbooks for Christmas. They are beautifully done with large clear pictures, high quality binding, and they are so well organized. I bought 3 books two to give away and one for myself, but when a friend saw the cook book she wanted one, so I gave mine away as well. I will have to order another one. Great job on designing a beautiful cook book.
You putting your cookies outside in the snow to cool or chill up reminds me so much of how I did it back when I was young, before all the cooking shows that have you cool them on racks and have all your ingredients at room temperature. Thanks for the memories, Mary. 🎄
I have my Great-Grandfather's pan from Germany and make a cookie called Kipfel. It's similar to the tea balls you made, only they are rolled in vanilla sugar. My Great-Grandfather was a baker.
It’s bitter sweet to watch you using the porch as your refrigerator or freezer. My late husband and I would make the hard candy in about five flavors and we used our porch to get it to harden. I miss those days.
I love to make the Russian Tea Balls (we call them “Russian Tea Cakes” or Mexican Wedding Cookies. We use ground walnuts in them. Filling a decorative jar and giving them as gifts - they look like a jar of snowballs! I’m glad you and your family like them, too. Merry Christmas, Mary!🎄🎄🎄
Oh gosh, we heated with wood for over 30 years . Had a free standing heater. It was the best heat ever. I miss it the most of all since moving. Merry Christmas
I love your channel Mary. A nice wholesome life….so cozy and warm. Wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas. All the cookies look delicious 🌲🌲🌲🌟🌟🌟
Oh, how I love your weekly videos! Thank you for inviting us over for a wonderful visit via youtube! Merry Christmas from northwest Florida (where it rarely snows)!
For many years, my last chore before leaving the house for work in town every morning in the winter was to add wood to our woodstove. So many times I also added soot to my sleeves. 🙂
I love smelling the wood burn in a fire place or wood stove and hearing the crackling sound of the fire burning it just an extra layer of warmth somehow. It’s so simple but soothing
I love those cookies, so easy and delicious! The hard candy is so good! I always make the Chex mix, I love it! Merry Christmas, Mary and family!❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's fun to watch you in the kitchen. I came upon your channel by chance and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the different treats you made. I'll be trying all of your recipes except the finger jello. Have a blessed Christmas. May it glow with the goodness and grace of God.

Will be trying a few of your treats, I always make the little white cookies, my mother called Brazil nut snowballs, my mother was a polish cook and every thing was made from scratch. I pulled out her polish cook book and I love making her favorite cookies, which were chewy oatmeal date cookies, sugar cookies the Santa cookies, were her master piece done to perfection. Her passion was being in the kitchen, starting at 5 o’clock in the morning preparing nutritional meals for her family. At our home, friends and family members would stop by for the Christmas season and all our special events, just to gather and enjoy Rita’s Polish baked goods. Love your channel Mary. I am always! waiting for Wednesday mourning. Wishes for a Very Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year to you and your family. Marilyn from Mi. ❤️🌲🪵☃️🎁🙏🏻✝️

I like that you always try to cook or bake healthy. Per google "Alternatives to Karo syrup: Maple syrup, honey, agave nectar, brown rice syrup." I've cooled cakes outside also, cold weather has a few perks. Love the wood heat as well except for lack of moisture in home. God bless and Merry Christmas!
You put me to shame the older I get the less I make. Is it we live far from family so will be alone or is it age But I was drooling watching your baking. I am sure you will all enjoy eating those goodies. Merry Christmas to you and yours from Australia
